Ebay is a great place for used gear, but for someone who doesn't want the risk of used gear these are great budget options. The main issue I've encountered with buying used hiking packs is the tensioner clips can be cracked or even stretched so that the straps don't stay tight. One of the worst hiking experiences I had was with a 25lb pack that wouldn't stay in place due to one of the tensioner clips being cracked.

I appreciate the kind words, and for sharing the videos! It can be tough to find quality gear at a good price, and so much of it is trial and error. But, my main purpose is to help people see that you don't need a maxed out credit card or a 6-figure job to get out and explore comfortably.
