Thank you so much for sharing this lovely piece- great to see them together- they are 'cute' together- and you can tell they have a lot of regard for one another. I would have loved to have seen them in concert together. Appreciate your sharing!
Dionne is a great person . My husband and I had the extreme pleasure of meeting her husband , Bill and herself in Puerto Rico . What a wonderful surprise for out trip !
My gosh, that “Friends in Love” concert snippet toward the end is BLISS! Dionne’s voice was past its prime here yet she is still belting those high C’s with relative ease, and Johnny is on fire as usual.
Past it's prime?! Are you serious? The 1980s Warwick voice was her prime. Rich in tone, gone was the hi, nasally pitch vocals of youth. In my opinion, of course.
I wish Bryant hadn't have grabbed on Johnny like that.. You could see he was uncomfortable.. This is not the first time I 've seen this. Another episode Bryant grabbed his leg. And Johnny brushed his pant leg off afterwards. It mad me so mad. I've never cared for Bryant anyway. He comes off as being full of himself. Like he's the sh**.
This is a great interview...just love JM! Thank you for sharing.
Indeed.... Two living legends.

That Mathis voice - just incredible - thanks for the video

Johnny is a singer and a great one, Al Green is a singer and a performer.
Two classy singers. Two of the best.

They
Are "music " of my generation ! Here forever !
Great interview
Que lindo! Como sempre maravilhoso.
Obrigada.
JOHNNY MATHIS is the best singer ever, don't you agree?
4:44 he grabs onto Johnny's arm and holds it there and it's really awkward.
@petertcain Johnny has never sang or recorded a Bad song ever in his career.?
Have a hard listening to Gumbel.

That's not true
Johnny Mathis is gay. Lol
I agree with you so much. You'll probably never see my response, but I thought no one else noticed Bryant's inappropriate hands...
