OMG, it tells you in the instruction how to mount it. and the little sensor thingy is a peltier chip, which makes electricity by thermodynamics. it has a motor to drive the fan. that's the Japanese electronics

I had one, then it died, so I bought another, I start out full heat, cause it says start full, then reduce getting ceramic face glowing, it lasted maybe a month, second one is going on and off, will quit, and stop on low heat.
I came to UA-cam to see if I could replace parts to make it work, it can’t be motor, so it’s the heat to electric convection unit, that seems to be cheap. I haven’t found a replacement parts video yet

Both the little buddy and big buddy heaters put Out too much heat for those fans. They will burn those fans out in weeks. Do not waste your money on this fans. Again keep it on low the little buddy is at the top end of the heat level these fans can take. Don't waste your money or your time.
