Hi, so imperial as a uni only does STEM courses, that’s mainly science, tech, engineering and math so to my knowledge they do not offer a phD in english literature. However, universities like kings college london and university college london do.

It’s true, imperial is one of the best universities in the world, well resourced with great new and modern ways of teaching many different courses. It is well known for having some of the best science and tech courses. However, for those who go through the comment section I would recommend you not solely make decisions based upon ranking as sometimes ranking can be a poor indicator of the value a university will provide to you. Rankings and universities also vary greatly by course especially since Imperial is a very specialised university only focusing on STEM subjects which is what it is a leader in.
Will be joining UCL this September, can't wait to bike around the city.
