I also purchased a sample of vetiver nocturne. At first spray I thought it was intensely green, earthy animalistic ( almost) . I wasn't sure if I'd like it, I love vetiver but to me I wouldn't have recognised this as vetiver as I have experienced before . However; after the initial blast of scent, as the perfume dried down the aroma developed into the most exquisite and very unusual warm, Jasmin, earthy vetiver and sandalwood. A hint of smoky wood accompanied by a soft creamy floral. I totally love it.
