My order is placed and scheduled for production in White. I feel with the black wheels and trim along with the M colors on the seats it will be a nice combination. Will post videos I a few weeks when it arrives here in Northern Virginia, USA.
I ordered the M2 in Zandvoort Blue, red brake calipers, bi-colour wheels, M Sports seats and Automatic (after trying an M3 Competition and noting the S58 engine was too savage for enjoying completely in Manual, despite having driven Manual all 16 years I've been driving thus far). Though the Toronto Red looks amazing, the Zandvoort Blue's seemingly changing hues in different lighting conditions gives it a unique look that stands out in my view. I wanted the new 50 Year Anniversary badges but annoyingly, BMW refuse to build mine with them because I ordered the M2 in 2023 and it gets built and delivered by August 2023. So now if I want them, I have to pay extra to buy them third-party and put them on myself...
@@scottyk329 My dealership put in the order with them, yeah, but apparently the factory told them that option will not be included despite the order having it. 🤔
Bro trust me. With a beautiful car like that. I think the only color that suits this car is a dark purple one that when it’s in the sun it shows a nice Design
I'm not a colorist expert, but based on what I know cool greys go well with blue, and warm greys with red. Now the question is: it's BG a warm or cool grey? :)
Still pissed that they didn't offer thundernight metallic. What a waste. Wish they chose a nicer blue. Contemplating waiting to see if they offer nicer colors for the 2024
Going with Toronto red on my order. The Greys are too played out. Starting with Audi Nardo grey from yrars ago. Now every car maker has that version of grey. The Blue is too feminine for my taste. Black looks evil but too much work to keep clean. So Toronto red with CF roof, CF rear spoiler and CF mirror caps for me.
The M2 is growing on me the only thing I can’t get over are those taillights. It’s shitty that BMW is cancelling the comp model but maybe another CS is on the way. Also individual colours are on the way which is a big bonus I would consider techno violet purple.
The taillights are fine in person. This camera has a wide lens which makes the appearance awkward. It's the rear bumper that looks ridiculous. Two huge squares glued on. It doesn't look elegant at all.
I will be waiting until they offer more colours. I waited for this M2 for so long but i can't go for a colour i don't fall in love with straight away so more waiting 😏
Where the hell is Thundernight Metallic?! I would order one tomorrow if they made the M2 in this color. Anyone have info on BMW taking custom color orders?! 😂
I think the red grey and black would look best, white would be probably be great but I’ve gone off white having had many white cars in the past. Not sure what BMW were thinking with that baby blue!
I chose championship white, less power and a Honda badge. No doubt this new M2 is a total weapon, but I just struggle to see it being much fun on the road.
@BMWBLOG Agreed. 3rd on list. TR for me it is. Found a dealer with that sells at MSRP. Some other dealers are at 35K markup on their HEAs. Ugh Hopefully after 4/8 they start with the allocations.
This car looks so awful with black wheels for some reason. I don’t love the other machine finish/black combo ones either but the car looks SO much better with those. Apparently BMW may feel the same as the majority of the cars featured here have the multi finish wheels
Looks like a $30k Subaru BRZ, and not like a $68k BMW. For this money, a powerful drive train is not enough. And it is as heavy as a M3. And it lost the usable rear seats. I am waiting for the new Mustang GT.
I saw them twice in a person,so dont worry… on real its even worse. Well…ones time it sit next to “older” m2CS which was so funny, because m2cs was so much nicer and more modern looking, expect interior. ;-D This car looks old (like some 90”)and plastic… the portions of plastic mass is huge and looks cheap… sorry, i understand the “PR push” but fact is that just about design and weight is step backward from sports car to more GT limuzíne.
Sorry the car is just dam ugly, so the only way I want to see it is in black, with a black interior set against a black background at night while wearing sunglasses

Too bad on the 50 years badges
You can still order them through BMW to have installed by the dealer for delivery. I wanted them too but figured they weren't appropriate for a 2023.
@@scottyk329 My dealership put in the order with them, yeah, but apparently the factory told them that option will not be included despite the order having it. 🤔
Great pick
The Red color for me !
With the tint and carbon fiber top and black and silver rims

Toronto red is the way to go for me
It looks good. I don't mind it
This is a great video for the many waiting for this car. It feels like public service. 👍🏾👍🏾
This is why we did it. Really had no time to do much but had to do this.
I'd do... things for a Zandvoort blue M2😍
Thank you for an amazing video with multiple views and lighting. Best color vote? Of the 3 shown.
You're welcome. I figured people wanna see it from all angles and under different light.
I know is not the the M but I order an m240i in Brooklyn gray I think it suits the car really good.
Yes, Brooklyn Grey always works
What color brake calipers would go best with Brooklyn Grey, the red or the blue?
I'm not a colorist expert, but based on what I know cool greys go well with blue, and warm greys with red. Now the question is: it's BG a warm or cool grey? :)
Thanks for the video and the thoughtful look at the color. I'm getting BG. I'm much happier with my choice now.
Good choice! That was mine also
Still pissed that they didn't offer thundernight metallic. What a waste. Wish they chose a nicer blue. Contemplating waiting to see if they offer nicer colors for the 2024
I wish they offer something else. Not the M240i color
I would’ve liked twilight purple a little more for this car. It’s a brighter purple than thundernight.
I ordered blue, but I'm thinking I might change that to the grey.
Love the blue sometimes. Like if it's sunny. Not a fan in the dark. But the grey is just good all around.

should have got m5 instead of girl car
@Michael Ryan Lol. Want a coupe not sedan.
Talking about 2 different cars. Different price points

taillights look like chicken feet. absolutely need some aftermarket replacement
Why would you think that the Comp has been canceled?
The taillights are fine in person. This camera has a wide lens which makes the appearance awkward. It's the rear bumper that looks ridiculous. Two huge squares glued on. It doesn't look elegant at all.
Not canceling. Just none planned today. It's a 7 year production cycle. If xDrive comes, they might name it competition. Will see
The CS is definitely coming
I will be waiting until they offer more colours. I waited for this M2 for so long but i can't go for a colour i don't fall in love with straight away so more waiting 😏
Might be a while
Red.
A dark orange would look amazing for that car.
Which one?
i ordered the M2 black interior cognac !
Classy! 👍
Good choice
It only looks good in red, which is why that is the colour I order mine in😊
Umm nope. that would be the last one i'd pick.
No grey?
I can live with everything, except that iDrive 8 screen and lack of physical button
True, but in the end, you'll see, the car is worth it
Where the hell is Thundernight Metallic?!
I would order one tomorrow if they made the M2 in this color.
Anyone have info on BMW taking custom color orders?! 😂
There is now a Frozen Pure Grey now
and Frozen Portico Blue
Ordered the White, black wheels, carbon seats and blue calipers. Cant wait for the carbon spoiler to be available 😢
Good choice
black one for me pls!
Misano blue would be great
Agreed.
I think the red grey and black would look best, white would be probably be great but I’ve gone off white having had many white cars in the past. Not sure what BMW were thinking with that baby blue!
I guess they wanted to try something new
Is this RWD ?
M2 is only RWD. For now.

black saphire
thundernight metallic

The plant in Mexico producing the M2 is gearing up to offer a few individual colors soon According to BMW . Some frozen or Matte colors as well.
Not true. A silly rumor started. The plant is not ready. Nor BMW M2 individual colors. More standard colors, yes.

Melbourne red only
why? thats one fuckin boring colour
