I’d like to see a tips video on tuning a leviathan lure.
Can you guys do a reel and rod review on both high end and cheap stuff. I am a pike angler and want to get in to heavy lures and if someone knows anything about heavy stuff then it is musky anglers.
They don't use cheap stuff. Sorry buddy but cheap stuff equals lost fish.

Im similar to you. I was a pike angler for 5years before i ever targetted a musky.
As far as rods, reels, line/leaders go you pretty much just need to upsize... a 400 size casting reel (i use a shimano calcutta and a daiwa Lexa) and a longer rod - between 8ft and 9+ft all depending on what you want to throw, which will also help you choose your rods action.
Using "cheap" big rods/reels will result in you losing fish of a lifetime and fish you spent countless hours on. As well as you losing big expensive baits. Save the $ required and purchase the right gear

Do you know if phantom soft tail Glides and hell hound soft tail use the coil spring for the tail or this thread type? Trying to find the best replacements to order.
Phantom used to use straight wire- not sure on Hellhound. A Chaos tail will work on anything.

I wish they would use drywall screws with the big meaty threads. They would get a better hold throughout the inside of the tail.
Screwing a grub on is not a reliable way to perfectly center a rubber tail. Pushing is much easier

my first glide baits tail got piked last season. didnt know about gel super glue. didnt know about the fishing line. legend says that bait is still hanging in my garage with a think sheen of liquid super glue and no tail.

glide baits are me new hot bait around my home lakes. Now if i didnt have to take out a loan to buy 4 of them would be nice.
