Low Cost Automated Motorized Mango Peeling Machine

The main objective of our project is to convey reader the purpose, needs and objectives for designing our Mango Peeler and to project gathered information, functional structure, and how we organized the information. Here, the initial objective needs have been assessed, broken into hierarchical categories and then analyzed using the Pair wise Comparison method. The functional structure of the Mango Peelerwas then evaluated and for better understanding was shown visually. Internal and external research and benchmarking was undertaken, comparing the competition and researching patents to best give an idea what is out on the market today and what can be utilized in our final design. Three different potential machines are presented as a culmination of all our research and data gathering. Each machine is then compared against each other using criteria and the Weighted Rating Chart. The Final Design is then presented and explained.
Objectives :
1. Fruit clamping arrangement.
2. Automation for fruit rotation And simultaneous cutter movement synchronization.
3. Speed variation arrangement in order to increase the production rate.
Advantages :
1. Avoidance of injuries to hand due sharp cutting blade.
2. Quick peeling.
3. Quality maintained.
4. Uniform peeling thickness to be maintained.
