  • I'm preparing for a 4-night tent camping event to Cumberland Island, Georgia, in May 2023, and testing out a new camping mattress by Lost Horizon*. For Cumberland Island, everything needs to fit in my wagon so that I can haul it to the campground, which is about half of a mile from the boat ferry dock.
To learn more about the Lost Horizon mattress, or order your own, you can find it on Amazon right here ... www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09...
I was very happy with the comfort level, size of it, and ease of use. For a beginner tent-camper like myself, COMFORT is a huge priority, and this mattress certainly delivers!

Haha, small world!!😂 Well if she loves this one, then click the link in the description above and order her the child size cot for Christmas, while it’s on sale, cause that one will fit much better in her vehicle for car camping… and it’s much cheaper than a Ford Expedition!!😂😂😉❤️

Ohh. I might need that mattress! It looks so much better and easier than a regular air mattress or just a pile of blankets!

    Is that the Lavabox?
Do you still have & like it?

Hey! Yes, good eye! I do still have the Lavabox as my propane fire pit and I do like it. My favorite parts are how small it is, that it has a lid, and that it's lite and easy to carry. The only negative is that the fire will steadily get smaller over time and I have to readjust the knob going to the propane tank. Not a deal breaker, but it does have trouble keeping a steady flame height. This is one of the original models, so that may be improved by now. But I love it when I'm camping by myself. When there's a group of friends, I still prefer a traditional wood-burning campfire though.

@@AllisonCobb0126 what size tank have you been using with it?

@@MrGottaGo just a standard 20 lb. one. I think that's standard. I'd like to get a smaller one but just haven't done that yet.
