    Jill, I made this dish tonight and It was a big hit. Everyone had seconds even me. I make on hot and spicy bowl and a small potion for me because I can't take the heat. Thanks for all your fun recipes and your great sense of humor. The chicken pot pie was a smash too.

    I made this (mostly) as specified. We really enjoyed it, and I will make it again, but I will reduce the Sambal Oelek by 1/2 because it was too spicy for us. (We still cleaned our plates, though! 😅) My slight changes were: I subbed cauliflower for the broccoli (my husband doesn’t care for cooked broccoli); I added sliced mushrooms; and I spread out the soy curls in a Pyrex pan and baked them at 315 degrees on the super convection setting in my Breville Air oven, stirring after 5 minutes, and then continued baking for another 3-5 minutes (I did it that way so that I didn’t have to babysit the stovetop while I did other things).     I always steam my broccoli in "chik'n" broth. It makes them taste like they have butter on them. Delicious.

    This recipe is so good! The glaze has a kick to it without being too spicy. I love Soy Curls, but I used extra firm tofu for this, and it was amazing. I put it over some quinoa, instead of noodles or rice.

    Just made this recipe again, delicious. I oven roast the soy curls after soaking in some water and soy sauce. It’s hard not to eat them before using in the recipe. Miss your videos Jill. Thanks for turning me on to soy curls.

    I haven't gone through all your videos YET but I'm hoping that you have a version of chicken tikka masala with naan bread. I'm a newbie on the Starch Solution and if I can get this recipe down, I'll be a happy camper since it's a total favorite of mine. Doesn't have to be overly spicy just flavorful. Also, I'm one of those people that cut salt out 30 years ago. It's easy. I did it "cold turkey" and never looked back. Awesome channel! I'm learning a lot! :-)

    WHY WOULD YOU THROW THE FOND AWAY????? That's the best part. Pour it into your soy curls bowl. A huge waste of flavor. That's cooking school 101.

      Jill McKeever, Simple Daily Recipes i actually ordered from them before you replied. I ordered the 12 lb. bag. I have a few of the small bags. We love the jerky. That would be a great video to make if you know how to dupe them.

      I'll definitely try looks good and low calories... I learned about soy curls from your channel it is the best especially with the chick style seasoning thank you for sharing.
