I'm in favor of a law prohibiting SCOTUS from dumping numerous rulings all at once on Friday's. This is becoming a tiresome trend of them trying to overwhelm the public when making bad, political rulings because only so much focus can be paid to any one thing; it's fucking cowardly. I literally can have no less faith in the Court than I do at this point.

You realize that Justice KB Jackson (Biden appointee) voted with the majority on this case, and A C Barrett (Trump appointee) voted with the minority AND wrote the dissenting opinion in this case, right? This was not decided along "party" lines.

I do but my issue us the three appointed trump judges have a hold over this court. Jackson is great and I respect her but when it comes to these decisions we have to start somewhere to fix this.
If we as a country of people who deport democracy these kind of decisions can't continue such as abortion rights.

That is not the ruling of the SC: they argued there needs to be evidence or documents to support.

Since the Chevron precedent has been overturned by the Supreme Court the workload of the Supreme Court will more than double. This provides justication for Biden to appoint a further 9 Associate Justices who have experience in all the areas of Regulation now covered by the Court, so that a minimum of two courts can sit at the same time.

That’s why all down ballot races are vital; not just the President. Goes for candidates too. We as an electorate have got to start nominating and then electing good candidates. No hacks allowed like maga has done.

If the decision stands then the courts have no right to remove or hold anyone in contempt for their conduct in any way other than providing evidence of destruction of evidence or paperwork to support the claim of obstruction of an official proceeding! This means that their court is now obliged to accept any such disruptions or other such actions as lawful conduct that may not have consequences for the perpetrators or their colleagues! People can disrupt court and other government functions and be free from any legal repercussions allowing this behavior to be used to gain an advantage or influence over proceedings and legislation! What a complete absence of any reasonable thought in the outcome that incompetence will have over all other legal proceedings and procedures of decorum and civility which is crucial in this society to function as a proper and effective manner! Idiots
