Coffee Table Railroad (CTRR) - Part 16 - March 2024

I found this building online, a copy of an actual monument in Italy. It is extremely tiny, only about 2 inches in diameter. This is (finally) the final layout of the buildings, and some major work is getting ready to start. I will drop the layout out of the table to work on it. The pavement and building foundations and roadway must be applied, levelled, painted, and more lights installed and connected to the system. There is some track fixing left to do on one of the lines, relocating a switch from the far side curve to the front for the foreground siding. Anyway... I was in public service all my life, and I grew up in Indianapolis where the downtown is full of war memorial monuments and museums. Having these monuments to the sacrifices that people made to save our communities and preserve our freedoms, reminds us that we owe a lot to them. The democracy for which they fought, is not ours to throw away.
