Great video. I always tell my painting students the same thing. “It is not a fluke. Something in you created that piece you love so much”
    Very validating

I just wanted to say that I love your style, I feel like to me your painting could be a complete one almost at any given stage of you creating it. I hope to one day be able to paint as well as you do.

You are really talented!! I can't believe that what looks like a couple of effortless strokes, can look so professional, I wish I'd be painting like this one day!

When it comes to drawings I got what you call 'Breakthrough' predictions almost 95% of the time, paintings is another story..
For portraits draws it doesn't matter if I'm tired (that tend to make me more patient and confident in the lines).
It really boils down to learning through the mistakes, be picky with the references and use the tools that suit the goal.

    I love the painting!!
I am lucky because I make breakthroughs watching videos or in my dreams. Also I like watching people paint, play games, complete a task, etc. It allows me to peer into their brains and see what they were thinking to complete a task or at least in a way that makes sense to me. Painting seemed like magic. Then I tried charcoal drawing, digital painting and learning the fundamentals. That gave me the tools to decipher a lot. Recently I wanted to digital paint the last human dying and the future beings comforting them in their last moments. I made multiple thumbnails of the last human in bed around the company of these future beings descended from us. I built the scene in multiple angles, and I just hated it. Then it came to me why I disliked the scene. If I knew my death was coming, I would not want to be in bed waiting for it. These beings have the ability to do almost anything. Even extend the life of the person for countless of years. They can accomplish the human's last request with relative ease. The human has already lived over 200 years and decided they wouldn't pursue it because either way they wouldn't be considered human afterwards. Humans still die. Something the future beings don't have to think about for a LONG time. Like 99% of all life on this planet the human has come and gone. Passing their knowledge to the next beings. A new chapter of life starts that isn't bound by the earth's cycles and that's the start of my story I am working. Oh and the digital painting has crazy outlandish human requests. I am not sure which one to paint yet lol.
