Even as a Longhorns fan I have the upmost respect for Graham Harrell and Mike Leach. That era of TT and college football in general was a pleasure to watch.
It's not a hard offense to defend if you figure out how to defend it. You just have the entire backfield sit in a horizontal line that stretches sideline to sideline. They sit in the space and react to the dump off passes in which it's the receiver's role to get YAC yardage. (This is where TTU gets the bulk of their yards) From this position they can also drop back and defend the bomb passes that TTU likes to run.
