Please keep posting these tourneys. It will be so satisfying when you start winning these things to look back at the old videos. Your swing looks so much better already.
Felt like sharing this. I saw Ben practicing at the Park last year and I went through an entire practice routine (which I never do). Chipping, putting, hitting balls. Took me about an hour and a half. Throughout that whole time, Ben was putting. I finished an entire practice routine and Ben was putting the entire time I was practicing. That’s what separates amateurs and pros. Fun nugget for the folks. I couldn’t putt for that long 🤣🤣
Just for context, 4 players shot 65 that day. 41 year old Brett Stegmaier chipped in to win on the first playoff hole for his 29th win on that tour. Golf is hard. Good luck with your new swing as it looks really smooth. All that matters at that level, is scoring, though. Hard to believe how many great golfers are out there.
I’m cheeks but LOVE the quiet hands, big muscles situation, Tom Saguto stresses that a lot and it just makes sense to me… Repeatable, consistent and easier to control, and helps me not sway.
This no-expectation attitude allowed you to have much a smoother swing compared to before where it seemed you focussed on a hitting strike. 85% throttle makes your swing look really great. Despite the windy conditions and you not really at your best you still were keeping calm and didn‘t try to make up drop shots with a different more agressive behaviour - congrats to this great performance from a mental perspective. This is the (your) base for success I believe ✌️🤟
Byron Nelson's book "Shape Your Swing the Modern Way" is a must read to achieve consistent wins. He gave his secrets to him winning 11 tournaments in a row in a single year, which is a record that still have not been broken. This record may never be broken. Woods came a little over halfway with 7 in a row, if memory serves. Nelson's secrets are in the old school of "swinging the clubhead" with him advocating "Swing the clubhead to the ball, and from the ball to the target" and "Program in the mind of throwing (and swinging) the clubhead to the target." These promote the "stretching" of the "hitting zone" for the clubhead to travel straight down-the-line during the impact phase of the release. The only thing missing in this book is that the "target" to swing the clubhead to should be about one-third the distance of the ball. The book is somewhat "dry" in reading, as it diagrams clubhead paths like Bobby Jones old writings, but these are fundamental to Robbin Hood like accuracy. These also implies that Nelson may be able to "see" if not at least been able to visualize in his mind the clubhead taking these paths during the swing. The top players are claimed to be able to "see" and at least "visualize in the mind" both the clubhead, and the hands movements during the swing, and at impact like the great hitters of baseball are able to "see" the bat in the act of hitting the baseball.
I've watched about 4 of your tournament vids, and you were smashing the ball. Your swing seems a lot smoother and in control compared to past events. The results seem to reflect that as well. Just my observation from the sofa.
Your ball striking has improved quite a bit. If I were as good as you are, I would spend 75 percent of my spare time putting. You do not make a lot of putts.
Glad you are back at it. Just curious if your misses were almost all left can you aim down right side? I know I have days like that and that helps me find center. Great job today!
I was thinking to myself 8 pars in that this was going to be a very ho hum round then BAM back 9. You played well in spite of it all. The lips took at least 3 strokes from you today.
All good players seem to take less than driver it the hole calls for it I have to take that strategy and approach for next season. Always good info and good video keep up the grind.
Once your technique is fairly solid, there is something about "not thinking" out there. You said it best at the beginning for tournament play, try hit fairways, greens and putts
Tempo and swing speed look much different. In your earlier tournament videos, it looked like you were swinging hard and even grunting with effort. Swing looked effortless this time!!
Ben was hitting so many off the tee into the fairway or easy rough this tournament that I think the accuracy threw him off his game, and short approach shots, which are his strength, went astray. And so many putts just missed. So he should be thrilled that his weakness off the tee is gone, and he will certainly return to normal with his excellent short game.
Nice ending to the vid. Your first "I love you" felt like a statement of appreciation to your viewers and followers. However . . . who was the second "I love you" for!?
Your irons and wedges were electric before. Only thing that needed to change was driver. Why not just have a driver swing and an iron swing? They require two different styles of swings, so why not do it? I'm just genuinely asking. Love the vids.
Not understanding all the putting comments. From 15+ feet away nobody makes “a lot” of putts. Yeah the TOUR winners you see on tv do, but that’s the week they got hot. The putts Ben hits are all with good speed leaving easy tap-ins. The numbers/stats are CLEAR that outside 8 feet or so your percentage chances to make putts get low quickly.
Feel like looking into other swing coaches might be beneficial. Just doesn’t seem like your current one is the right fit. Chemistry doesn’t really seem there from the video you posted. Just my personal opinion, but I’m nowhere close to good so I could be talking out my ass lol.

This guy isn’t winning lol
Keep going with the tournaments! Some of the best content on UA-cam brotha!!
Thanks! Will do!

2 Holes in, and the swing looks so much smoother. Keep up the good work.
Wow, the sound production @12:00, nicely done.
Best golf channel on UA-cam
You’re gonna get there bro. We’re all behind you knowing you can do it.

The journey is the goal - thanks for letting us be a part of the bad and the good - RESPECT
Your ball striking looks alot better
Putts were all around the hole. Keep it up, man! Love watching your journey.
Ability to immediately recover and reset after a bad hole is super impressive. It's so close I can taste it.
Great play and swing, Ben! Wind affects every stroke when it's blowing in the 20ish+ range. I love that this channel keeps it real!.
Left hand low drill and focus on the body turning and being the engine of the golf swing!!! Good work Ben keep it up! #alwayspress
Let's go Ben , keep pushing .
Love the addition of the courses logo above your live score on the right. Please keep doing that it gives a nice touch
Love the neutral clubface at the top! Once you've adjusted to the new feels in your hands and swing, you'll be winning! Well done!
Love this, Ben. Keep plugging away even through the rough patches.
i look forward to this series more than any other upload on youtube

Swing looked much more fluid and under control than the last tourney I watched where you were trying to crush everything with 120 mph swing speed.
Tournament videos will always be my favorite content, keep grinding!
Swings looked calm and collected. Could never tell you're battling a swing change. Mental game is looking good ben!
Ill give it to ya, your montage music is the best on youtube 👍🏻👍🏻
Keep pushing bro. I believe in you
The struggle is key mate keep pushing forward.
Keep grinding, Ben. You are a good player and will turn it around soon. Keep those vides high!
Big time jinx on the 9 pars in a row comment. Went on to not get a par for another 5 holes. So funny🤣 Love the content Ben! Keep grinding
Boss. Good you're back in the tournament mind set. Excited for more tournament videos!
Great to see you back out there!
It's nice to see you hit the ball at 85, 90 percent . Looking good . God bless
Short game was poppin! All around the hole with the putter. Driver - improved. Alot of positive takeaways Ben.

Tempo looked great, solid play.
really like the music on this one!
Keep it up! Those putts are going to start dropping!
Your determination is inspiring. If you ever make it to Ocean City MD would love to play a round
Thats it man!!!
Well done, also great camera work ! 🙏👍
You're one of the best ball strikers on UA-cam, do you ever practice your putting with the same intensity as your irons? God bless you Ben.
Let’s go ben!!
keep grinding man!!!

Yes another BHG upload!
Can you do an in the bag as well as all the accessories you have? I think I saw a range finder in your hand..?
Pretty solid. Think you said it in the video but you could start scoring if your wedges weren't 10 yards offline every time.
lets go!
Any clue when always press head covers are dropping, I’ve bought two hats and love the design of the head cover
Headcover is hopefully launching next week
Thanks!
come on Ben! Mental game! 💯
That wind looked diabolical

I’ve been waiting 4 days bro I’m gonna need one at least once a day

Narrowing the misses looking better.

The eagle was half in dawg!

How come you use carts in competition?

Hot take from a guy who has never broken par - I think your iron swing before the changes was amazing but you were over swinging on the tee shots.
we are so back
Oh so back
Mini driver on 12 was dirty
I'm curious to know your spin rates
Woah we earlyyyy
Play a round with Jonny moles !!
Hell ya
Swing your swing
Do you ship products to Canada?
Yes. It’s not super cheap but we do!
What happened to the new golf coach?

If you drop the music this would be watchable
Grant Haefner?
11:18 club path is too out-to-in
I could be completely wrong, but it looks like you're trying to guide the ball on a lot of your iron shots.
Could just be you trying to keep it out of the wind, but idk
@@ope.-817 probably trying to flight it more. He talks about how with his new grip change how easily he can balloon the ball with into wind.

Gotta relax with the changes you just started to play good golf now you do not look confident over the ball.
