Great video and review of the product. I use one on my Mossberg 590 Shockwave. It actually helps mitigate recoil because it's heavier. I do like that. I like that it has 2 modes, high 600 lumens and low 200 lumens. But the Shockwave is smaller and I want it really light and maneuverable. So it's a pro, but can be a con. Streamlight makes a "TL-Racker" it's light, very indestructible and is 1,000 lumens. The model for the Shockwave has a strap as well
I prefer the Wilson combat safety. Looks better and works just as well, without the ugly bulbous look lol. The dome safety extended out too much to where I always felt the safety was on, even after it was off. But just my preference after running both for a long time.

Interesting application for a Surefire forend. I like the idea of the added weight minimizing recoil.
You should try a vangcomp dome safety for your 870. It really is a game changer.

Can it really be considered a 590A1 if it doesn't have a bayonet lug ? :)
Well before purchasing this one I would have said no. However, it appears to be a factor production model that is marked 590 A1.
