I love how she says "the look" is super iconic. Very humble beautiful woman.
@ElectricBlueSwirl that's true. I'm sure if those stylists had put the same amount of effort on a scarecrow, the outcome would be identical.
@ElectricBlueSwirl because she (michelle) is acknowledging indirectly that it was not her doing, but the stylist and custom designers art work, “the look was iconic” . another person could’ve said I was Iconic or the character was iconic but she acknowledged the look. at least that’s how I understand it .
@@realista3 that was absolutely my sentiment.
She looks fucking PHENOMENAL for her age. These older actresses need to teach younger women to stop overdoing cosmetic surgery to stop looking like over-inflated balloon Barbie dolls and the lifestyle they need to lead toook like this!
Exactly what I thought
“Your womb is polluted”
Iconic 😂
she said she lived on tomato soup and cigarettes to stay so thin.
@@johndean4727 ❤
@@johndean4727and cocaine
😂exactly she was a coke head
Hahahaha!
I could see that. Working with such accomplished actors and she is basically a newcomer. She had respect for their craft.
I'd say it was more of his known coke habit and wild behavior. Al even jokes about his drug habit when people ask him in interviews were the intensity in his roles came from.
but its JUST an actor,a character .or the role he played. none of which are Al Pacino.
@@mumzieof563but al is al. and al is a big name in the industry. if she bombs the role, and al spreads word that she’s terrible and he hated working with her she would’ve been blacklisted or demoted to B list movies
@@dontcare7086 *"?Does he also talk about him and Arnaldo Santana being dEEp in$ide Reece"*
See there’s something called the Patriarchy which still operates to this day, and if someone’s isn’t blazing hot enough for the male gaze they will get axed.
it's funny that Pfeiffer is acknowleging that she felt insecure in her role but it did not show in her performance. just as ruthless as Pacino.
Because shes a professional actress why would it duh?
@@anthonytaylor7928 imagine thinking that you can’t be insecure as a professional… quit your “I’m a blxk victim” behavior.
@@anthonytaylor7928 she, like everyone else, can’t be perfect at all times. The insecurity that she’s describing sounds huge, so to not let any of it show in her portrayal of a woman like Elvira is comendable, even for a professional actor.
Her in that role literally complete opposite of what she just said, exuded confidence! ❤
@@anthonytaylor7928you quite literally just watched a video of a professional actress detailing why she was intimidated….
Your take; a professional actress shouldn’t be intimidated……..do you know how words and emotions work? 😅😢
She was an amazing “mean unhappy woman” in that movie. She did well.
I agree
Yeah, but she has a look in her eye dat... well...
@@movingonandup322what do u mean ?
Remember the dance? With the arms up, painfully straight posture, cold distain for Tony. So good
@@LL-iu3bi I was quoting a line from Scarface.
I would've never thought she wasn't the first option. She was fantastic.
Glen Close.
Her acting wasn’t all that ,any other woman could have done it the same or better.she was lucky she was part of that movie.
Whatever she was feeling she put that into her performance and it really made her a stand out in that cast.
Dude, she still looks good
💯 natural talent
oh man. Michelle Pfeiffer called herself "just the girl from Grease 2" shes just... such an amazing woman. such a natural beauty and idk. ive always loved her.
She is so humble. I saw an interview when they asked her about being in Bruno Mars - uptown funk song... she was so honored & appreciative.
Even parts in movies like New Years Eve, where she played opposite Zac Efron. It was so good!
Same. She is amazing
I get why her comment about Grease 2, I mean that movie is never talked about, but say Grease, the 1st thought is John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John
I’m sure she’s great. But probably the least memorable part of the movie Scarface
And hot lol
She fucking ACED this role. So perfect that we still dress up as her character, we still say the lines she said. And it jump started a fantastic career for her.
Yup, I can’t see anyone else playing it
So you're a drag queen!
She was awful . Too bland and no personality
“We”? Speak for yourself n*gga😂
I totally agree. I love Michelle Pfeiffer. She was great in Scarface. I can watch it a thousand times. Nobody else could play her role.
I love that she has resisted the urge to completely destroy her face like many of her contemporaries. She may look slightly older but she looks absolutely phenomenal.
Yeah and instead of making bad movies, she doesnt make any movies
-_- stup1d ass comment
Michelle Pfeiffer is still a total babe
The interviewer did such a great job for prompting Michelle Pfieffer to explain why she felt so nervous, and dreaded the process.
yeah really, it could've been taken as a negative, like she was scared of Pacino or he was a dick, but I'm glad she clarified it just seems like she was super nervous about acting with such a big talent.
Yeah no shit
You say that, but, it was obvious why she would be scared. She literally just told him "I'm the girl from Grease 2, you know what I mean", you can say things without literally saying it. I get he wants her to talk and say more but do you really need to make her state the obvious. I'm sure anyone watching this will understand without it being spelled out
@@TheycallmeMrWonka nope, not anymore. If she doesn't clarify at least 10 sites run with the title "Woman Hating Al Pacino Frightens Michelle Pfieffer to tears!" by the next morning.
@@KS-xk2so exactly, and with all we know now what is happening in movie set, by the way she did not give details, I was assuming she was afraid because of some mental abuse, harassment, or worse
How old is she now?! She’s so gorgeous it’s ridiculous.
RIGHT!? In the pics that were posted of her & Pacino, I can see that he was getting older but her? The biggest change was Michelle’s hair. I don’t think she can stop looking absolutely beautiful!
She’s 64. Gorgeous
Edit: whoops, sorry, I confused her. This is not Olivia Newton.
Olivia Newton. She was 73 last year when she passed away battling breast cancer on August 9, 2022, which was first diagnosed in 1992.
@@JdeUribe this is Michelle Pfeiffer.
She's the same age as Madonna. They were both born in 1958. Doesn't Michelle look beautiful?!❤❤❤
Michelle Pfeiffer's dramatic expression while dancing with Michael Keaton in Batman Returns is unforgettable. Resonance! 😊
This man did not just say "no shit" to motha fuckin MICHELLE PFEIFFER
I'm pretty sure that was the other girl talking, not Michelle. Cause after he says no shit it pans to her. I had the same thought lmao
He said it to his co-host.
I was looking for someone to catch that… what a prick. Why would he say it to any woman especially during an interview with Michelle, he was being cocky and condescending. Don’t ignore the signs… he hates real women and he’s disrespectful.
Lady you did an amazing job, I still remember watching you like wow!!! The cold demeanor, the addiction play, the grace, and beauty in the mist of this violent storm. You were the flower growing out of the concrete.
The first role I ever seen Michelle Pfeiffer and slso my absolute favorite is Catwoman. She was so badass In that role to me!
Meow ☺️
"What were you so scared of"
"Yeah no shit"
"& the main concern was...?"
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh men
its like they forget to empathize when it's not another man, especially men who have podcasts go into 404 error whenever there's a woman present near them
UGH I’m glad I didn’t have to scroll long to find this comment (& many more like it)! 😮💨 This tool is insanely douchey! Poor Michelle ☹️ The “yeah no shit” threw me over the ed8ge 🤯 How dare he speak that way! This guy has a podcast & doesn’t know how to talk to people? What a shame..
Who even is this guy? It’d be rude and childish to reply “no shit” in any situation, but to say it to a guest they invited on their little podcast? Imagine being so far up your own ass that you think talking like an alpha bro to Michelle Pfeiffer is a move 🙄
She was brilliant in Scarface...I have the making of the movie and her character Elvira was brilliant

Disagree, her and that ugly girl that played Gina were total miscasts
Grease 2 was fire 🔥!!! Say what you want. I loved it and I have followed Michelle’s career ever since ! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I loved it too.
Same❤
Me too! Love her.. she's still on fire!
💕💕💕Grease 2 ..but it should of had another name like “Grease Michael and Stephanie”💕💕💕
I love Grease 2 almost more than the original.
Apparently he liked working with her, they costarred in “Frankie and Johnny”. Loved her in “the age of innocence” and “the Russia house”. So talented.
The Russia House was so under rated!
It was so good.
I think What Lies Beneath was her best role.
It was Dangerous Liaisons for me ❤
@@I_am_enigma53 YASSSS, I LOVE THAT MOVIE!!
Frankie and Johnny is such a good movie, UNDERRATED GEM!!!
Al talks very highly of her in that movie in an interview with Larry King
She made a great werewolf movie with Jack nickelson called Wolf, and a rarely seen gem with Jeff goldblum called Into the Night, even had a cameo with David Bowie!
She worked with 3 goats, Pacino de niro nicholson
MP still drop dead gorgeous
40 years later and she looks like she aged only about 10-15 years
Lmaooo what kinda question was that?? 😂 My dude, she told you, she was the girl from Grease 2--she was effing terrified!
I would've asked her..."Once you got the part, did you have a sense of how you were going to play this character? Did you just go off of Pacino's flow? How did you create her so flawlessly? Cause she was fierce!
And she's been iconic ever since, but Catwoman in the 2nd Michael Keaton Batman movie will always be my favorite Michelle Pfeiffer character, because that's how I was introduced to her as a child.
She was a brilliant Cat Woman 👏👏
One of the GOATS. I remember an interview where she was asked to finish the sentence, “At a party you’ll find me…” She replied, “Out back playing with the dog.” That made me an even bigger fan.
I enjoyed her performances in “What Lies Beneath”( I’m still puzzled by the ending) & “The Family” (badass)
Very humble.
Talented and beautiful
The scene at the Restaurant between Al and Michelle.
Fucking ICONIC!!!!!!
Absolutely 💯%
“Tortured” doesn’t mean what it used to mean I guess
How she was cast for Catwoman, cause she could play 'bad' but so good too. She was in her prime for Batman returns.. did her own acrobatics and whip work.
She was actually believably high on coke in her role. Most actors can't pull that off.
Lol, most actors ARE high on coke, it’s not acting
She was amazing. Perfect, truly. I can't imagine someone else in that role.
I’m glad she cleared up what she meant by “tortured” because I’m sure people were ready to crucify Pacino, when in reality she was just in her head about working with the greatest actor of all time.
Interviewers have gotta learn how to interview
Indeed seems a lost art in these modern times.
@@akrossmann1631 that dude just likes to hear the sound of his own voice
Excited to work with Al Pacino…..NOT scared. What kind of BS is that. He’s human. Now God is another story😂
She was great in Scarface!👏
Best Catwoman ever!!!!!❤❤❤
Didn't know Michelle Pfeiffer, Kaley Couco and Christian Bale did a podcast together.
I mean why would you know that!!!! It’s not a miracle
Christian Bale 😂
Lol
😂😂 no fr.. I really thought that was Christian Bale
@@MunchMaila same 😊
Having the balls to say “no shit” to a legend like MP!!
Oh, Michelle 😍🌸... You can not be bad!
Brilliant actress 👍👏🥰.
her cool rider performance was so iconic to me. she's probably the reason i wear so many black clothes today.
My god that woman aged like the finest and most expensive wine on the world.
She nailed that role, I can't picture anyone else playing Elvira! "Sorry, I didn't know you were so sensitive about your diplomatic status". 😂😂😂
I loved her performance in Scarface! She was the perfectly detached, gorgeous, fed-up being the girlfriend/wife of druglords!
I bet Al was eating his words! she's become so iconic her name is synonyms with white gold ( ty for that Bruno😂)
I watched Grease 2 for the first time not that long ago. Underrated film. She was fabulous.
This is one of my 'mental health recharge' movies, I unironically ADORE it. 'He's a coo-oo-ooool rider - If he's cool enough he can burn me through and through WHOOaahhawoah' ❤ Love LOVE. And it's problematic on so many levels, jeeesus. The hot one convincing his girl to lose her virginity w him in a bomb shelter by PRETENDING THEY WERE GETTING NUKED. 'Let's do it for our country... the red white aaand the blue - It's Uncle Sam that's asking, so your mother will approoovvve' ... the sex ed song.. Wildly inappropriate, hah Gonna have to go watch it now ❤ 😆
Al was afraid of a camera and crew in Dog Day Afternoon. At one point, Sydney Lumet had to cover the camera for him, leaving only the lens uncovered enough to capture the recording. Almost all the crew was sent away. It's the only way Al could do the scene. Most people get scared of something at some point, no matter how frightening or not it might seem to anyone else.
Michelle did a job that I don't even have the words for I mean the whole cast was just incredible but Al Pacino
and Michelle or just mind blowing ,,!!! fantastic movie the acting was just phenomenal,,,!!
I loved her and Al Pacino in Frankie and Johnny. Great film.
You are so stunning. My father is a retired Judge and growing up, My mom would get so jealous!! He had a crush, still does but not in a creepy way. They have been together 55 yrs and you are the only other woman he finds attractive. We love you in all your movies and you were the right choice for that movie 🎬 Sorry so long. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
It just blows my mind that she hasn't won an Oscar yet. She's an amazing actress. To this day, I still think she truly deserved the Oscar for 1989's The Fabulous Baker Boys. What an amazing film!
Glenn Close.Colin Farrell.there’s quite a few.
@@johndean4727Both she & Glenn Close were astonishing in Dangerous Liaisons.
She was so fortunate to not be cast as an angel on Charlie's Angels. She would have never have been taken seriously....look at Kate Jackson and Farrah Fawcett. Both very good actresses but stymied by CA.
Michelle doesn’t know how good she is!
It's INSANE to me that the fact that Scarface came out 40 fkn years ago and she only looks like she's aged a few years. She's 64 and she looks like that. Crazy
The white girl dances the most iconic lol That's actually one of my favorite scenes in the movie the way she was flaring her arms around classic I love you Michelle ❤
YES! that dance was an inside joke with friends at parties: Face: bored , rolling eyes.Arms: a marionette air traffic controller. It meant: time to leave before I die of boredom! Lol.
You have an A-list actress on your podcast, you don’t need a clickbait title
Yup
He was asking a great question help us understand the reasoning behind the stress. What was the other podcasters deal? Let him ask, let Michelle respond, it’s part of interviewing.
Elvira.. ELVIRA!! …. Let her go - another quaalude, she’ll love me again !
Michelle is more than just Grease 2 she’s really an icon and proved herself incredibly. Al Pacino is fantastic but not all that, it’s sad most actresses are so intimidated by ‘A list male celebrities’ Bless her heart.
I think you're completely neglecting what she's actually saying. She is an icon TODAY, but then, no one knew who she was and she was a newbie in a film starring, produced by and directed by legends. Her nervousness and fear came from the respect she has for their talent and craft and knowing her place as an actor at that time.
@@forensicmomma8360 I think you over analyze things. If you grew up in the 80s you’ll remember Grease 2 was bad. She was the only thing good in that movie. But unfortunately people will always remember Grease 2 bc it was that bad…
@Rachel I'm not over analyzing anything, I'm just being a good listener. Who cares if you grew up under the 80s or not, (I did), SHE is the one that mentioned the movie; when she did it, she was a newbie, not an icon, like the rest of her costars. You are looking at it from what she means to YOU NOW, not the perspective of what she meant to the industry at that point in her career.
It is almost scary how gracefully Michelle Pfeiffer is aging. A true beauty, great actress. Classy.
She killed her role of Elvira. Everybody who played whatever role killed their respective roles. From the owner of sandwich shop in the beginning. To Tony’s guys. To Frank to Omar to Sosa. Even Sosas henchmen killed their roles.
Her role was equally ICONIC! NO ONE ELSE could’ve played her role more authentically. She did incredible. Memorable looks and talent!
Ironic that Al didn’t want her for the role. He almost didn’t get cast as Michael Corleone because most of the producers didn’t like him.
Dude watch your mouth when talking to a legend, did he just no shit Michelle Pfeiffer????
What is Scarface, 40 years old?? Look at Michelle! Looks amazing.
I honestly thought Christian Bale was interviewing Michelle Pfeiffer 😅
This hit that ice cold Michelle Pfeiffer that white gold.
You got THE Ms. Michelle Pfeiffer on ur podcast?! Iconic
I mean duh? Would be you scared if you had to work with Michael The Don? Lol
I can't imagine Scar Face with anyone but Michelle playing that role. She was flawless in every way.
I love Greece 2! Michelle Pfeiffer is spectacular in EVERYTHING she's in! !Love her!!!
She make another movie with al Pacino after this , i think,.. she's great and georgeus woman
Yes- Scarface is an iconic movie but I liked them in Frankie and Johnny so much more!
The way he says “no shit” in response to what she said when he literally asked a dumb question
She has one of the greatest Hollywood film resumes of any living actor. Not a single movie of hers isn’t popular or a cult hit in some way.
When she said I was you, I was like no you weren’t. But that woman’s hot af, so it’s a testament to how hot MP was!
Prime Michelle Pfeiffer was one of the most beautiful women in the world.
over exaggerated she loved it made her more famous God these actor/actress's talk crap
Life is soooooo tough for actors...poor poor POOR victims of filming
The interviewer guy is DREAMY...
I thought the interviewer was Christian Bale until he started talking…
“Another Quaalude she’ll love me in the morning”
Girl your beauty is beyond compare! To this day. No one could’ve held a candle to you playing Elvira.
I like al pacino but I never really thought he was that great of an actor
She absolutely nailed that part!
She will always be my favorite catwoman
Very humble even though she a lot richer than Al Pacino
Goodness, iconic couple. Literally the best of all time.
I'm more of a Frankie and Johnny girl❤️
That’s some click bait title.
Christian Bale has s UA-cam channel?
Michelle Phifer is so bad ass as Catwoman
"I was you for Halloween."
Hun, you may have been but your boobs were definitely someone else.
Seriously bad implants!
Crazy to me that she didn’t feel good enough for the role
You know that he was not there first choice for godfather
The movie would not have been as good without her imo
She’s still got it…..that Pfeiffer thing.
She was afraid that she was going to be bad, but then she says the look was iconic lol. Lack of confidence suddenly becomes super confidence. 🎉
*SHE IS SUPER ICONIC! WITHOUT HER…. THERE IS NO FKNG LOOK!!!! SHE MADE THAT LOOK! Let’s be real… Don’t get it twisted, everybody give this fine ass woman her flowers, I fell in love with her everytime I saw her scenes!!! 😍😍😍😍😍😭🤦🏽♀️*
