Great video! As a LeaseHackr member, glad you’re highlighting someone like AutoCompanion! I’m coming from a 2019 Volvo S60 and am looking for something a little more sporty. I really like the S4 and the S5. I think an optioned up S4 Premium Plus can be had in the high 600s/low 700s at today’s incentives, but the practicality of the A5/S5 can’t be beat! Buuuuut don’t know if the hatch back is worth THAT much more 😂. In your opinion, are these Audi interiors looking dated vs the new BMW and Mercedes models? I’ve only been able to drive the S4- can’t find an M340i here to drive in South FL. They fly off dealership lots. But I’m not trying to pay $800/mo+ for a base M340i without options.
Hello my friend, it’s an honor to have a Leasehackr member drop by on one of my vids, you are the first! Glad you mentioned the S4 because you’re right the performance of that car is def worth it and comes with a massive trunk so it’s still practical. I ran some numbers seems to be around $730 a month mainly because interest rate is slightly higher at almost 5%. Could save on that with MSDs and One Pay lease so the S4 would end up being a great choice. Regarding interiors, I personally like the slightly old school interiors like this Audi with physician buttons and dials for the HVAC. I also enjoy the solidity so I would be happy with this. BMW also makes some solid interiors and the new 3 series is nice but, with Idrive 8 they moved all the HVAC to the touchscreen but implementation of the tech is elegant. Also be careful with how crazy stiff the 3 series can be, high lease prices don’t help either like you mentioned. I do like Mercs and how they drive/look but I’ve noticed anything below the E class has a really cheap feeling interior, a lot more creaky and crunchy and tech can be hard to learn. But def see if you can keep looking to find rival cars to drive, I only tested an M440i and that car was certainly a rocket! Again, it is a pleasure having you here on the channel, best of luck!
Have a 2023 A5 Sportback 45 and purchased it in November 2022… Love it… Love the black out package with 19” wheels … Have the chronos gray and that color blew me away… Actually mine listed for 58,000.. This style is still my favorite of all the sport sedans and when it came out I felt it was before it’s time … Had a lot of BMW’s (I’m an old timer now LOL) but switched to Audi 5 cars ago because of the styling of Audi compared to BMW’s… I’m with you 100% on the dynamic sport suspension, it’s great…! Love this car…Excellent video, enjoyed it… Greg…IN
Just got a 24 A5 sportback and it's my first Audi! I had one as a rental on a trip to Big Sur and it was so much fun to drive. I saw what the 25's are going to look like and knew I had to get one this year to get a good looking one.
I am waiting to buy the 2022 model year Premium Plus trim with no more than 60k miles.I can have one next year for about $25k.Currently you can have the 2021 model year for this price.
A5 has been using the 12v Mild hybrid since 2020 my friend. None of the previous model years felt anywhere near as crisp as this 2023. God bless and take care!
A bit of a smart ass response to the Durham guy who had a valid and correct comment. The A5 started using this 13bhp+ mild hybrid in 2021 model year in US/CAN. I drove both and own a 2023. You can feel the battery motor kick in low down when in S Dynamic mode.
a5 45 gets 18% off msrp in Poland. Considering this as a new daily. Really appreciate comparison to bmw 3 series as this is what I also consider. Engine revision 4 with 265bhp is quite of a gem. This is detuned golf r engine basically. Not sure on the accessory end like IC... but it pumps >350bhp on stage 1 and makes this a fukin racecar for the streets.
None of the car companies really disclose it I'm not sure why, I've driven a 2023 X5 and XC60 this year and both are significantly better than the 2022 and they were effectively the same trim/spec as well
So it looks like these vehicles have a 12 volt Mild Hybrid system, they’ve implemented this as early as 2020 but sadly in the past these cars were not this reactive I think they tuned the system to respond better now. BMW is using a 48 volt system like a lot of other vehicles I’m sure Audi will upgrade their system when the redesign comes out in 2025
@@MeynMotorGroup I had a 2019 and agree with your observations. I recently drove a 2022 that was better, but not what I was ultimately looking for. As you said, it's worth a look.
@@darrell9616 thank you so much for sharing and confirming your experiences with us, very valuable! And yes I can understand your sentiments it’s worth a test drive but I can understand why it might not suite everyone’s needs
That’s not exactly a revelation. Since the beginning of time, we were always able to buy someone else’s clapped out car for less than a new car. Question is, do you want to deal with someone else’s problems & after 3 more years have a car that’s worth $10k? Most choose the used route and continue to save a marginal amount of money or even end up paying more than a new car under warranty.
Black optic package on a black car…👎🏼 I guess some people like zero contrast. It might pop well on a light colored vehicle but not on the dark one. I’d keep the Audi rings chrome

Flawless start from a stop is the 12v Mild Hybrid technology , gets the engine up to speed , that’s why it’s so smooth.

the drift at high winds is something i have noticed with my A5 '22 as well. But overall still feels quite stable.
Yea I agree my friend aside from a subtle drift, the car does feel secure and stable
still looks really good and expensive, I like it. Thanks Kevin 😀
I agree my friend def aged well!
Fantastic content as usual thanks for doing some Audi products

it's unfortunate that Audi doesn't advertise the improvements to the driving dynamics. Many would assume this car has not changed since 2018
None of the car companies really disclose it I'm not sure why, I've driven a 2023 X5 and XC60 this year and both are significantly better than the 2022 and they were effectively the same trim/spec as well
This car does support wireless android auto. Also, the mild hybrid system really made a difference in the new model.
