A perfect balance is what makes something perfect. In my opinion, their vehicles are already so flashy and sharp, adding the sequential turn signals and fancy lights makes their vehicles look over styled and out of balance.

I went into the dealership to get an oil change on my A4 and wanted to look at a small Q3 SUV as I'm getting long in the tooth and felt at this point that would be the way to go for me, especially with our winters... Then I happened to notice this car sitting outside, along with a white A5 and a black A5 all with the blacked out package but the gray chronos stuck out like a sore thumb, what a gorgeous color...! That car was on my mind for 5 days, I was so impressed with that color, the red calipers the blacked out grill, rings, window surround, the 19" two tone wheels, everything, a real head turner..... Just got the 2023 glacier white A5 sportback. The black features really make this car look amazing. Plenty of power for my wife’s work commute. The storage in the back is huge for our boys baseball gear. Drives like a dream
I have the exact model/color. This tester did not have the final option upgrade...the S line interior pkg= Brushed aluminum inlays & stainless steel pedal caps and leather/Dinamica seats. Love it so far.
Been following you all for years, and I just bought a new (to me) 2019 Audi A5 coupe. This purchase was due (in no small part) to your reviews of Audi vehicles, particularly the 2018 A5. It's everything you said it would be. Thanks. And BTW, the Integrated Toll Module allows you to set it up to be compatible with many of the major toll companies and you would not need to buy or install an additional transponder to attach to your windshield. For instance, if like me, you lived in Louisville, you could coordinate it with your Riverlink account for tolls across the Ohio river. Your Audi would not need a transponder, as it's integral to the car. Unfortunately, my A5 does not have it.
This car stands the test of time. One thing I love about it is Audi isn't trying to out-ugly its competition(looking at you bucky-beaver 4-Series). Instead, the smooth and clean lines will age far more gracefully. Its why Audi can get away with selling this car going into its 6th year. The 2.0T Audi is deceptively fast as the engine is so smooth, and the interior is further dulled in interior noise. Sure the S5 is a notch more fun, but I wouldn't sleep on the tunable 2.0. I love the exterior of this example, but the interior is far too austere for a luxury car these days. The aluminum looks ok, but it needs the wood to offset some of the dated pieces(the dash top belongs on an Arteon, not an Audi...although I LOVE the single screen over the fingerprint-prone current Audi setup). The car's interior space, on the other hand, is great for a compact car with slammed roof. Great packaging there.
That beaver BMW is selling well. It’s usually the weirdos on social media, looking at you, that like to bring up something that doesn’t bother the majority of consumers. This Audi is a nice vehicle, nonetheless.
@@JBrown-go8ru selling well doesn't exclude its ugliness. And I love how you true weirdos dislike when others have a difference of opinion. Creepy behavior for sure.
Integrated Toll Module is basically a built-in Toll transponder/EZ Pass. Since my state of Virginia gives those out for free, I’ll gladly take the $125 lol.
Just bought the Audi A5 45 premium plus sport back.. Black on black even the Audi symbols are black front and back. Wheels are black and gray chrome. Beautiful car and the new tech is amazing.
@@CarConfections Thanks it is a nice looking car and fun to drive... Great video, very detailed.. Audi even has someone coming to my home to explain and go over the tech. I don't need all that lol but why not maybe I'll learn something.
I’ve always been in love with this car and that color makes me want it even more! One thing that bothers the CRAP out of me is the heated seat buttons. I know, such a stupid thing to nitpick… but I can’t stand how they cheap out on the little pictures of the seats and make them all face the same way instead of flipping the picture on the drivers side and rear drivers side buttons so that the seat-backs face outwards. It’s such a stupid thing to dwell over but other than that awesome review and sweet car!!
I really like this model. The only thing I could be critical is the front cup holder location. They are right againt the dash. You are not going to put tall cups in there.
Good review. I have a 2022 S line 45 TFSI Premium Plus A4. .Is the exact same vehicle as the A5 minus the hatch back style trunk. My A4 has ventilated seats yet is several thousand dollars less expensive than the A5. I went for the A4 because I don't need the extra cargo capacity. For that, I have an SUV. My wife drives the SUV. I drive the AUDI.
Love the storage area beside the steering wheel… I put carpark coupons, sunglasses , hand sanitizer & 8 inch tablet … the storage box infront of the gear gives it an empty look… I prefer older design with MMI dial there
12:00 a lot of manufacturers do this on the sunroof where from the outside it’s a large panel of glass that makes it seem as if you’d see through all of it inside but really it’s just slightly larger than reg size
Can you please answer this question because I'm confused and I'm strongly considering this car. When you do the acceleration test, you only gave the car 3 smile faces, why? Doesn't this car go 0 to 60 in 5.2 seconds? Which is pretty quick, and much quicker then other cars you give 3 smile face rating to, such as a civic? Integra? Those cars are 7.5 to 8 seconds, big difference from 5.2.
I am obsessed with this car, but I am disappointed that Audi still has a plastic dashboard and door interiors. For this price I am expecting leather. I also do not like that the arm rest has so little space. I hope they improve on those in the future. Otherwise, this is still my dream car. *chef's kiss* 👌
I had a 2018 45TFSI Prestige that had 80K flawless miles on it. And then it got hit (secondary hit following an accident). I replaced it with a new one
I thought it would have been Audi who would have been first to do something a little aesthetically pleasing with that infotainment screen. Mercedes beat them to it. It looks like a handheld gaming system was propped on the dash, here.
S cars are great but very few people buy them, reviewers bring them up too much, they aren't options for most considering the a versions, and I they are, the buyer already knows of the s and rs. S and rs are amazing, also amazing expensive, which make them very rare, not many made, not many bought. Not many places in America yiu can drive yiur car like a race car. If I wasrich I'd get the R S but I am not, so I guess I'd be stuck with 5 second 0 to 60 time... so still faster then 90% of cars on the road.
I was sold until I got to the price vs. horse power/torque ratio. And not even complementary oil changes? $61,000 for a 261hp 273 lbs of torque 4 cylinder car? I know mine is just a 2023 Stinger gt line, but for 40k I got every single feature in this car except the heated back seats and 360 camera, but my 4 cylinder 2.5 engine gives me 301 hp and 360 lbs of torque plus two years of oil changes for free while saving 20 grand, and my Harman Kardon sound is no too shaby :)
It’s all about preference. You’re talking about price to horsepower. For someone else, while the Stinger may punch above standard Kia quality, it’s not going to hit the luxury mark for others. Good luck with the Stinger though, enjoy it.
Bought an almost identical one in September. Notice a lot of vibration in the steering when engine is under load! Has anyone else experienced this? Audi tells me it’s normal. Usually when the engine is in higher gears around 1200-1500 RPM This thing is nothing but problems. Currently in the shop for a brake issue but my biggest gripe is all the vibrations.

Anyone who has same experience has any chance to confirm this or get it back to work?
Sometimes brands just have to randomly remove features at certain times during production if they run out of that specific part/chip. But they should have given you a credit on the window sticker if they removed it from yours...
@@CarConfections @CarConfections mine olny says toll module delete. The problem is that audi doesn't specify hand's free tailgate in a5 order guide or snickers even in past few years model. They are just listing power tailgate. Do you think audi usa will do anything more than dealer?
