Energy links are NOT AN ENERGY SYSTEM. It's a lore name for money. It's gold in most MMOs. The idea is that it's batteries in a post apocalyptic world where power is a valuable commodity. Pretty sure I responded to a previous vid of yours thinking that is an energy system. It's literally farmable in content or by just selling stuff to vendors like any other normal game. This beta is less restrictive. First beta had 2 zones at start, then 1 zone every 5 days. This is just half the map, then the other half. Only the LEA and hard modes / nightmare mode / harder prime wars take longer.
This game really hits a sweet spot. I really enjoy the demo and the core game loops. Heck; I even enjoy just watching someone play it. The only worry I have is if the content will be made harder. It is way too easy right now which removes a sense of exploration and danger. I can just ride my motorcycle into strongholds, hop off and unlock the tower thing, and then just bunny hop around on stuff to get the chests. Rarely, even in boss encounters or dungeons, have I had to worry about death.
Not sure if anything has changed from the first beta but one of the things that turned me off from it was walking around and seeing so many player made houses literally everywhere. It was a big eye sore for me.
LOL. not that I'm sociable player. But I find it funny when I saw a house: out of nowhere, near mine, near enemy stronghold, etc. it makes me wonder, will the land get littered with houses?
Expanding on this, I couldn't place my damn base because every single inch of usable space was occupied by user bases, it was so irritating that I gave up.
This is only in the starter zone. Move out of that zone and its easy. Also you can change to several different worlds on your server to a less populated one and change it up whenever you want to at a teleport tower.
Awww I miss the stream!! BUT OMG I love this game so much!! :3 I been playing it since the beginning of Closed Beta 3. I can't wait for the full release or early access! :3

@midknightgeek6629 P2W disaster when it releases, but for "something to do/play" it's mid at best for PVE. It's serviceable and fine but don't expect to be rolling around in BiS without ponying up real money to get min/max anyone who tells you different either is lieing or hasn't played it to understand it.

Getting a beta key is pretty much impossible, people are hoarding them for some reason. They said they would send out random emails last time then changed it to a free-for-all and it became impossible to get a key.

The game is pretty boring. Just playing it is a snoozefest, I fell asleep twice while playing it. Going to skip release and play something else I don't trust Netease either to not add P2W shit in or conviences so it's a hard NO from me

Too much talk about gated content and resources. I really hate that in games. It's to artificially increase play time which is not friendly for devoted gamers

I am so hooked on this game! The only this I Dislike is that You sould not be able to "Not PvP at all" on a server that has "PvP" in the server name! That is just bad.
You can pvp on pvp servers. There are zones and events that are for pvp. Apparently China is crackind down on some laws and one of them is that you can't have always on pvp. I dunno why. Sounds super weird.
@@navystylz Cuz people like me don't like forced pvp all the time. It's a nice public event that's optional. And seamless designated zones where y'all can get sweaty 24/7 is even better.
@@Oryyyt Ya pvp servers are just what CBT 2 servers were, which is nice. My warband made this mistake of going pve thinking there was new exclusive content to see. Only to realize there's actually less to do and people can grief the prime war event.
@@Oryyyt Then play on the PvE servers? have the "opt in" option on the PvE servers and have full PvP on the Server that says "PVP"!! It makes no sense to have it like it is now when you that likes to play like that could have it on a PvE server and the few PvP servers that are is actual PvP servers! :)
@@navystylz So the PvE servers in CBT 2 was like the PvP servers are in CBT 3? OMG! When it is something you can choose just keep the PvE sservers like that and have PvP on the PvP server! Wtf?!
@@Nostromo2144 @PantherSV or you guys could just get a program to invert your mouse? 10 seconds of googling comes up with dozens of solutions. even ways to invert your mouse only when your mouse is hidden (so during actual gameplay) and leave it normal for when your mouse is active when menus/inventory screens are up
As someone who has played literal tens (hundreds?) of thousands of hours in many different MMOs. There was so much about this game I couldnt figure out. The tutorial should be completely remade if it hasnt done so already
I was gonna type, "oh weird.. unreleased 2024 game? Why it looks so dated? Looks like OG PUBG graphics." Then I saw "Mobile" Eesh.. Maybe it will be good eventually but it looks old af right now. No doubt mobile development forces a low bar to have semi-consistent gameplay across all editions, I dunno why a game like this would find that appealing.
I mean, I can kind see why he would say. There are mini dungeons you run over and over farming gear drops, BPs, and mods that go in your weapons. Chasing god rolls on your mods. Just not on the scales of a normal looter shoter that just drops already made items. But I think it would be more like Division had a baby with SCP or Secret World.
My biggest problem with this game is that you can't change your keybinds as you want. Which means that I'm forced touse WASD even though I'm used to a different setup since 20+ years back, basicly making it unplayable for me. How can we not have complete freedom in our keybinds in a new game from 2024?
I enjoy the game, love it actually. The survival elements BUT the seasonal crap they're going for is a 100% turn off for me and I'll end up not playing it. Guess it depends on how they do it.

I think it's like a passive buff pet. There is breeding and crafting for different types.
