Jeff my dad was a Ford Executive and when he retired he said, I don’t know how I found time to work I’m always busy now! 😂 you should get your real estate license even if just until you get another tv gig! You have such a likable personality! People buy/sell from people they like! ❤

Breast exam is covered, its a preventative service and it’s federal law…ultra sound or MRI are covered but amount ($) covered is based on your plan. Providers tend to mis code…the code is the service you were provided. Sometimes additional codes are added to services just to spike the bill. You can appeal those by asking for your medical records. Send them to insurance to get it corrected if you dont want to deal with your provider (doctor)
I used to work in a grocery store. At work in my purse, I had one of the lint shavers that takes pilling off of sweaters etc. I didn't have time to put my purse in my locker, so I stashed it in a drawer at customer service that we often used for coats. One of the managers got her coat out of the drawer and somehow the shaver turned on making my purse vibrate. The shocked look on her face was so funny. She thought it was a vibrator 🤣
OMG the vibrator story-hilarious. Great to hear about your last day Jeff. I waited until the very end so I could watch it, all dressed up for an afternoon wedding, and raced to the car with tears in my eyes when it ended. Hope your boy had a blast on his birthday-favorite memories ever of those littles waiting on the cake! Keep up the great work!😘

Kids birthdays…in my family it was decided we wouldn’t get on the party train. We had big parties for milestone birthdays. 1st, 5th, 10th, 13th, 16th. All the others were small family celebrations or sometimes they could invite a few kids to go somewhere like an arcade. Play an hour or two, go home. All this was known to the kids in advance so expectations were met. And they got excited for their big celebrations.

Jeff seriously you should apply to be a Flight Attendant. As much as you enjoy meeting and talking to people, and travel the world what better job. I'd consider NetJet a corporate airline. Think of all the people you'd meet with connections. The benefits especially insurance and free travel. You make great money.
They don’t get paid much. The NetJet pilots are always holding up strike like posters and walk around Scottsdale private airport (plus if you ever watched dbl you’d hear how much Jeff hates planes)
I'm picturing a future youtube channel called Jeff's Journeys, following Jeff around, meeting the real people in society. An on the street type podcast. I would totally watch it!

Jeff they probably had you on that show to give you an audition and you didn’t even know it. That’s what they do. I bet you they’re taking your tape and have focus groups look at it and if they like you maybe they’ll offer you a job to do that show.!!! remain optimistic
You have to check what your insurance covers for wellness visits and what you are responsible for. Usually an annual visit is no out of pocket. Annual mammogram is free. If you have to have diagnostic testing, that's not Usually free, but your policy should tell you. Call your insurance and ask for a print out of what is coveted and what is free etc.

That is something I keep meaning to make an appointment for and you reminded me to move it top of my to do list. Totally agree open shelf in Target is no place for vibrators. JIKES!!
Jeff, you should do an Uber connection show here in Colorado! Or can you do a show showing the best paths and parks around Colorado that would be cool to see. My friends just took their kids to a really cool park in Winter Park. Their kids loved it and I was thinking it would be a cool show learning about all the beautiful paths or parks around.
Ya that's what I was thinking. Just do your own UA-cam travel type channel.
Jeff should do a show where he travels and talks to people of all ages in diners, Uber, etc.

Mammogram screening is covered 💯 but an MRI is a diagnostic study and you will have to pay after insurance. Mamm tech here❤

Ugh Unemployment in CT is brutal too… I work in construction as a Teamster and usually collect a few weeks to a couple months in the winter. Our max benefit in CT is over $700. I know Florida is a lot less, I hope you do well in Denver lol
It so important to look at your explanation of benefits that you get from your insurance company. It shows what you had done at the facility or clinic. If you have any concerns call or go down to the facility and speak to them about your claim. Hospitals and clinics do make mistakes but will correct your claim and rebill your claim back to insurance company if something isn't right.

Keep on top of the skin stuff Jordan. My sister went to the dermatologist annually and sometimes more, and she died a little over a year ago with Metastatic Melanoma of the Liver. We never found the spot. I miss her terribly, and she always made me promise to share her story.

Jordan, we all have bad days(this is my respnse to the last podcast). I was not going to say anything and I just wanted you to know that for me it was a trigger for me because of how my parents argued when I was a kid. That is my stuff and I love you two so much that the good outweighs the bad 100 fold. Maybe people got upset because it was a trigger for them. Loved this podcast so much and look forward to it each time!

Had to pause it to comment. Health insurance is one of my pet peeves. It is ridiculous. Worse than drug dealers in my book. If you don't ask (the right questions)they won't tell you. Just like GoodRx. You can go pick up your prescriptions because you have Health insurance and they charge you whatever! BUT if you ask them if they apply GoodRx would it be cheaper? It usually is (for mine anyway) but if I didn't ask I would pay a higher price! So I pay for insurance but it does not give me the lowest price of the public prescription coverage!! EVERYONE should be ask for the GoodRx price but if you don't know...
The medical providers charge more if you have insurance because they know the insurance companies will limit maximum allowable and they bump it up to allow for that.
Triple check the coding. Ask for a detail billing. When at ER document everything they use. They will overcharge if you don't keep tabs.
The medical system is BROKEN. You have to wait 2 to 3 months for a regular Doc, Months more for a specialist and in the meantime if you can't wait you have no choice but to go to the ER where they rob you blind. It's a joke.

An MRI is not the normal procedure for breast exams. Mammogram are normal.

Jordan, didn't you agree to have the boys seen earlier than their yearly visit? If so, that's why you were charged. Had it been a complete year, there would have been no charge.
As far as your breast MRI, you should have gotten that approved by insurance before. MRIs aren't normal for a breast exam. It's a pain, I know. But you have to understand these rules to avoid charges

We don’t pay in Canada for any tests or doctors appointments.
You do pay, just in a different way. You pay far higher taxes, which then pays for your health care, whether you use it or not.
Not when your retired you don’t in Canada, covered by Ohip.
@@kathybenson5953 In the US, when retired, you get Medicare which covers your medical. That's completely irrelevant to the false claim you don't pay for doctors or medical testing. You pay greatly throughout your working life, but it is just a different method of paying.

Your insurance doesn’t seem to be very good. Hopefully next job it will be better coverage. Do you have CHIP insurance in Colorado? Since Jeff is out of work that may be a good option for the boys.
All of our insurance rates have gone up because we are funding millions of new friends who are getting free healthcare, free housing, free food, free transportation, you name it, but it isn't free because us taxpayers are paying for it. Millions of Americans are busting our butts and spending thousands in health insurance, car insurance, groceries, mortgage rates, gas have gone up, but please vote blue y'all! 🤬 Sorry, but we are feeling the pressure and barely surviving out here. Don't come at me. Sorry to be negative this morning, but when you are ill you really feel this recession. I'm praying for you guys. God may not always give us what we want, but He will always give us what we need and I'm praying He meets the needs of all who are suffering. 🙏🏼

I feel so bad for Americans health care system. I can’t believe you guys get a bill after getting care! I was in the hospital for months here in Canada with all kinds of tests and treatments and walked out without having to pay a dime. Never been so grateful for our system. Yes we pay taxes just like you guys do, but I would take this system any day of the week. Who knows what the answer is, but I really feel for you guys. Don’t know how we’d pay for my family’s doctor visits if we didn’t have universal healthcare!

I think it’s pretty inappropriate that Target has vibrators out where your 7 or 5 y.o. child can reach and see them whether they know what they are or not. The younger generation doesn’t care because they have been desensitized because stuff like this is put on full display. Just my opinion
