    Wow. Puscifer has steadily gotten better, and steadily grown on me. This is phenomenal. Actually, after hearing this, I went back I listened to several of the older Puscifer albums and I appreciate them more - I think I get it now, and I love it.

    I just want to share my experience at Monster Mash AZ. It started with a trip to visit my best friend in Colorado Springs which is beautiful. The vibe is amazing the scenery is breathtaking. Then it was road trip time to Arizona through the continental divide. No words. Met the coolest people on the way and had to the most humbling journey. We got the hotel with like minded freaks and proceeded to celebrate. Explored through the desert to another sort of beauty. Got to the concert parking lot to be be greeted by more beautiful freaks. Took some L. Saw Primus. Wow. Tool came on and started with No Quarter and proceed with a version of Parabola to bring a man to tears. Drove back to hotel to proceed the celebration with my fellow freaks. Sunday Puscifer came in and really grounded everything. Deftones came in with massive energy and brought out Max Cavalera. On the ride home it was eery silence. It was content, comfortable silence. This trip was more than just about music, its about lifestyle, choices, freedom, living in the moment.

      Looking someone “straight in the eye” is a practice for demonstrating devotion, trust or attentiveness between two people. Because it’s physically impossible to look multiple people “straight in the eye”, the profession to do so alludes to the use of the “Third Eye” or “Inner Eye”; a concept relating to spiritual awakening that allows for perception beyond ones physical limitations.
      To achieve world peace, we must open ourselves to spirituality, look to our inner most self, which will in turn allow us to understand others - in other words - opening our third eye is paramount to the understanding of one another.
      Only then can we combine the physical and metaphysical, see each other as true (not just theoretical) equals, and accomplish the (seemingly) impossible - world peace.

    I had first met Tool in the early '90-s and fallen in love with it. Then years later found out that there is A Perfect Circle and thought that nothing could be as perfect as Tool was but realised that A Perfect Circle is one of the best stuffs too but somehow different while still the same too. Can not explain this feeling with words. I have just got to know Puscifer earlier this year after 26 years of aquintance with Tool and felt the same again that there is something completely different and brilliant again from the same man who is one of the biggest geniuses of our time.

    Puscifer is as good live as Tool or A Perfect Circle - in smaller auditoriums, Maynard's voice sounds so crisp and tonally spot on, people don't appreciate what a good live band they are - plus all the skits and multimedia that go along with a live show.

    3 minutes into the album...just wow. This is the kind of music that people will study 200-300 years from now, the way we study the grand masters of what we call "classical music".

    As a fan, I really want a new TooL Album. But I also enjoy Puscifer. Seems to me like TooL Borrows Puscifer 's lead singer from time to time. "Money shot" is a superb album. As long as they keep doing good music (puscifer), keep'em coming!.

      to each his own but I think Maynard is trying to run away from the goofy shit like cuntry boner and obviously moving Puscifer towards the realm of legitimacy. Cuntry Boner was a good "ha ha look what Maynard is goofing around w b/t Tool albums" but not many folks would pay to hear that shit - imo of course

I asked him if he was the drummer for puscifer and he said yes... he was so cool to me and I got a great pic with him... it made for a great concert ... of course I asked to meet corina. Most artists can't even fathom being as good as Maynard. I love Tool, APC, and Pusifer. This latest Pusifer CD is a great fix of Maynard and it works real well for me. The only comparison I would make is that "Money Shot" is the best one yet from Pusifer. :) I can't stop listening to it.; "So, I, uhh, I sat with him for hours just trying to get a bearing on his beautiful insanity."

    I bought the album at the store one day after seeing them at Monster Mash. TOOL put on a great show, but Puscifer was much better. It's not hard to tell where Maynard enjoys putting in the emotion and heart.

      +Mathew Reinecke Tool was awesome! But as soon as the Puscifer show ended, me and my boy looked at each other with this look of disbelief, and both said "Shit, I might have liked that better than the Tool show!?" haha, we both agreed...

    • @tylerbrock5465
      @tylerbrock5465 8 років тому +2

      +Mathew Reinecke Read the interview with Maynard last month. The members of Tool basically conned him into playing at Monster Mash. He didn't put his full effort into it. xD Feel sorry for him. Have you listened to Lateralus?

    • @drewper73
      @drewper73 8 років тому +1

      What exactly do you mean by that last part about Lateralus? Personally, I prefer the heaviness of Tool. I don't know much about Puscifer but I like what I've heard so far. I really liked A Perfect Circle and this reminds me of them a little bit. Anyway, I was just wondering what you meant by that comment. Thx

    • @Marius89R
      @Marius89R 8 років тому +3

      +Mathew Reinecke In my opinion , TOOL songs are harder to perform, more heavy, more struggle for the vocalist. maybe that's why Puscifier has performed better.
