@@ΗλιαςΓεραλντο I was gonna say, never saw a flea market in Paris so it must be outside of the (WIDE) center. It's not like in Brussels or Antwerp where they are simply everywhere. Paris is modern, and that's how a capitol should be.
i listened to it again and again and i'm pretty sure she does say "jsuis toujours la" which would mean I'm always there/here. and contextually it makes more sense
@@christelle7437 I heard her say « Si » but is it a well-formed sentence - « Si je suis toujours là »? (Obviously she's French and I'm not, so the nuances of the language may have escaped a learner like myself.)
@@jill5676 Hi, in this context "toujours" means "still"! Yeah you're right, in this context, this _would_ make sense, however she basically meant "You will always be welcome here, if I'm still alive…". "Si je suis toujours là" usually means "if I am still around". But here, one understands that she has dedicated her life to that place, "(to) still be here" means "(to) still be alive" (she always IS *here* lol). Greetings from France!
The Gospel of salvation of our souls: 💜💕💞💜💕For what I received I passed on to you as of [first importance]: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve. After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters at the same time,
Dear God🙏♥️💕 in heaven, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I acknowledge to You that I am a sinner, and I am sorry for my sins and the life that I have lived; I need your forgiveness. I believe that your only begotten Son Jesus Christ shed His precious blood on the cross at Calvary and died for my sins, and I am now willing to turn from my sin. You said in the bible that if we confess the Lord our God and believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead, we shall be saved. Right now I confess Jesus as my Lord. With my heart, I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead. This very moment I accept Jesus Christ as my own personal Savior and according to His Word, right now I am saved. Amen.
One day I was in the metro wearing a belted raincoat over a striped t-shirt and I also wore a beret and high heels. A man stopped me and asked if he could take a picture of a 'typical French woman'. I said yes ok but I am actually Scottish, he declined despite me saying that no one would know ! I always wear berets and I have dozens of striped t-shirts and jumpers and have several raincoats. Sadly no longer can wear heels !

This is my kind of trip! I also enjoy window shopping for things I don't need and eating while enjoying live entertainment. Who wouldn't love Les Puces! The shops are like museums and you can buy something you'd really like! I have to stay on budget though, so, I think I'd be on the hunt for a tea set, a good photo to hang on my wall, and a piece or two of jewelry. I could also shop here for gifts and presents to take home! :)
Boy oh Boy, I think I've just found my next favourite web series! My heart, I've only been back home in the UK for 6 days and I'm already ready to get back on the Eurostar to Paris. Hopefully the next time will be for a few months stay! Fingers crossed anyway! Les Puces is definitely on my to-do list now.
I need to buy that book.... My first trip to Paris was all about sight seeing and goign to the the eiffel tower but I want my next trip to Paris to be a lot less- touristy......
This is my first encounter with your channel, I'll definitely check out more of your videos. I've always had a little more luck at the Porte des Vanves market, but, for fans of jazz manouche, there is La Chope des Puces just a couple hundred yards from one of the exits, and you will probably see a Futuro house one the way. The Chope has live music and home cooking, no jazz manouche player should miss it.
i'm russian and i'm coming to paris this autumn! this video was very helpful! and so chic and classy omg you're something, i fell in love and subscribed so fast
Completely agree with the person that said I found my new fav web series. I am in love with everything France and you just made my dreams came true 😍👍🙌 thank you and keep it up
So the narrator isn't the girl in the video? The narrator has a neutral American accent and the girl has an English one. I'm confused. By the way, explaining what a sausage is by saying "it's pork intestines" is not a great plan xD
I already have a Beautiful picture of the writer of Messy Nessy, to understand who is behind these interesting stories and gorgeous stunning photos. Now it goes with a voice too! It is as if I almost know you for real. We had contact before. Greetings, Hans from Thailand
Did you know that the term 'chiner' does not come from Chine as many think but from the old expression 'se courber l'echine' (bending over) as back in the day most stuff was on the ground and of course you had to bend over and over time it became 'chiner' !
Where exactly is this in Paris? Is there a specific street name or something? I went exploring and went to where internet said it was, and it took me to a really frightening long stretch of a road where I felt veeeery unsafe :( I don't think I was that far, maybe a few streets away, but couldn't find it. Can someone give indications? :)

The stereo card pictures were taken with a camera that had two lenses so the two pictures are from slightly different angles so when you view them through the stereoptic viewer they look 3 dimensional. In late victorian times looking at these photos was entertainment.
I just love my visit to St-Ouen. I will return everytime I return in Paris. The most surprising thing I obeserved was all the characters. The shop keepers, often a bit extravagant (and they all have a little dog), often chatty, always passionate. The shopper who dress in period clothing, historically accurate from tip to toe. The extreme specialization of some shop and some collectors.
