I saw 3ildcat throw these into his Zoom TKL, flipping sounded pretty dece. I own the DUROCK Shrimps, but I feel like the leaf ping is just getting worse and they are so mushy sounding in that regard
I love WS silent linear for my work keyboard in my tight shared office. I don't want to be a disturbance to the current staff. Works great they couldn't hear a thing.😊
How are silent switches for gaming? This might sound like a strange questions but I’m asking regarding actuation points etc. especially with 5 pin hot swappable, can you get silent switches that have good actuation points or use lasers or magnets for faster and lighter actuation whilst still being silent
I had someone customer build me a replacement for my 10+ year old mercstealth (they call it the ergostrafer) and I hate clicky switches and I hate linear, so I had them put some AKKO penguins in it (silent tactile) and I I love the feel of it and it feels amazing for gaming.
😢sadly no. You gotta make your own keyboard build and that's costly I've been rocking a razer blackwidow 2014 well since 2014 xD. I want the same keyboard but silent. It's been a horrible experience trying to find one you'll get directed to cherry mx silent red. Guess what they are still loud af.
The reason I don’t like silent switches is because if the switches are silent, you hear the stabilizers more.
I’d recommend modding your stabs or learning to tune your stabs then!
@@Oridemos stabilizers still bottom out
A bit unorthodox but try Costar style stabs, they produce very little rattle compared to Chery stabs. Only downside is installation and taking apart.
@@DarkTheHunter the issue that he is talking about is the stab bottoming and topping out.
You can try putting some bandaid or the little pads that comes with deskeys film under the stabs
Only reason I got this so I could game secretly at night way more
Well if you would mod the stabs, perhaps. But like that, the spacebar makes my brain hurt

Bobbagum and u4: hold our beer
Those use a ton of rubber. Those are mushy. These don't even use rubber they use a custom dampening mechanism
Ngl those silent linears give me a good old dopamine dose

Gateron oil kings in Halo65 feels dreamy
any links to a good 60% silent keyboard?

What keyboard is that?
Will RK61 fit with these?

I really don’t like it because it sounds like a membrane keyboard kind of
It's the strenght of membrane keyboards, being more silent.
Sounds scratchy to me
What keyboard is that? Looks like a 1800 layout
I think it's 96%
Cool
where these lubed?
“Silent”
I don't like silent switches, cause you don't really get much audio feedback
Had these they're scratchy as hell even after lubing. They also don't control the upstroke.
Aren't all silent switches scratchy?
@@brode7111Why would they be? Afaict some silents have silicone dampeners, these should not cause friction during the stroke
Not bad
The question always for me is, is it mushy?
Because if it wasn’t, it would be a little loud.
@@NavaNoidGMDno. These use a weird as fuck dampening mechanism to silent it instead of rubber
