Like any other country India has arrested some and hunting for the rest. Law of the land will take its due course. On top of that money was given as you said. So what more do they want? The couple too are to be blamed on this. They could have avoided if only they had used their common sense by staying at hotels or other cheaper accommodation. If Maldives is ungrateful for the support given in the past, that clearly shows that they cannot be trusted at all, even for a penny. Similarly, it is like the proverb "the one that bites the hand that feeds". Probably its all about how they were constructed based on their own DNA makeup commencing from one's cultural, religious beliefs backgrounds that are historically proven to be so by such makeups. India needs to learn from all its historical invasion against India by all its invaders. As there are just too many fox masks in sheep's clothes with such makeups.
