This presentation introduces the concept that plants are all around us. They are our food, medicines, clothing, housing, and a thousand other things in our lives. Ethnobotany is the scientific study of interactions between people and plants. Since plants are integral parts of so many kinds of cultural activities they play important roles in how we define culture and ourselves.
