Yes! I mention the reason I chose this method in my latest video Unveiling My Patchwork Adventure. As a pianist I need to lokk after my hands. Working with the card templates was just too much of a strain. Also working with fabric on fabric allows for the extra ease so as to fit absolutely accurately. Hope it goes excellently for you.
A great many are watching this which makes me happy as this method really does work and saves faffing around with bits of paper, although it probably upsets those who prefer to be traditional.
GENIUS!!! I didn't allow myself enough of a seam allowance and thought I was unable to use my pieces. You've been so helpful. Thank you for sharing.
So glad this is helpful.
That is awesome. I like to view the different options to choose from. I currently wanting to venture out and try it soon.
I encourage you to have a go 😊
I love your fabrics
I'll have to try this!!

Where do u get your templates?
I used clover plastic ones for the shape and then cut out the card myself. However I think you can buy ready cut cards on Amazon. Hope this helps.
Clover Patchwork templates on Amazon. I pencilled the outline on the interfacing.
