I love my Flux AT2. I DIY boards. The Flux is my first prebuilt board and i gotta say i'm impressed. The light kit is legit amazing. I ride mine with mbs f5 bindings also with the radium performance adapters which allow you to swap your stock bushings for riptide blocks. Great video .
Wow you’ve really customised your board nicely :) It’s so nice to hear a DIY rider praise a prebuilt board. I guess it just speaks to how good the Flux actually is!
Bro what a review! Nailed it and really took the board through its paces man. Highly detailed and great for a person who is sitting on the fence for the beast of a board man. I honestly think the flux is doing well and stands up tall amongst the other high end boards man.
And I really appreciate your kind words! I always worry when editing long videos that they will become boring but it’s so nice to see comments like this :)
Kudos to this perfect review! Being the one that created the Lacroix Jaws review they referred to on their facebook page, I think you covered everything perfectly. I'd buy the AT2 too, if only it had a flexier deck. The Jaws still is a ride on clouds, but it's range doesn't come anywhere near the one of the Flux AT2, I have to admit. By the way - Lacroix changed the Flipsky VX1 remote they originally shipped their boards with to Hoyt Pucks because of quality issues of the VX1. But as long as the AT2 comes with the Unity ESC, one could easily switch to the Puck as well. Again, thanks for this great review, I just subscribed too 🤙
Thanks for your awesome comment Phisto. I’ll go and check out your Jaws review! Regarding the Hoyt Puck remote I read recently that they were having some reliability issues and Hoyt released a statement about it. I can’t say I’ve ever tried that remote but I have heard great things about it! Like you said though still if a Flux owner wanted to change from the VX1 they could easily do so because of the unity. Cheers again!
Good stuff. Thanks for this thorough and at the same time personal review. I wanted to buy a Flux board a year or so ago, but they were out of stock by the time I was ready to pull the trigger. I started my e-skate journey with a regular Backfire (can't recall the model now) and then moved up to the ONSRA Black Carve, which I had spotted very early in Fabian's journey from board reviewer to board producer. I love the Black Carve (direct drive), which provides a very smooth and stable ride even at 40+ km/h. As I now ride increasingly in the country (vs. Paris where I live), the Black Carve's range is just not cutting it and even with the black rubber wheels (about or slightly over the size of the Cloudwheels), dirt roads are almost off limit (or really brutal on the board). After watching your excellent review, the only thing that could stop me buying a Flux is whether I should put that amount into a really nice gravel bike. :)
Quality over quantity - a LOT of work putting this together - definitely a great board - I ended up buying a second hand lacroix Naz and love it. Great to have choices at this end of the market!
It's people like you who put so much incredible effort into making a comprehensive and helpful review that makes this website what it is. I can't imagine the hours and thought you put into this for only a few thousand people to see, but I can tell you we greatly appreciate it. Hope to get my hands on this esk8 someday, currently rocking an electric scooter for now.
Your comment couldn’t have come at a better time! It pushed me to finally finish editing my review of the eovan super which I’ll release in a few hours. Thanks for your kind words! I used to ride escooters, but stopped due to crackdowns in my city.
Amazing review bro. Best review I’ve seen yet out of any video. You should have 100k subs. I think I might buy one. Currently riding the Zeus. Good board for the money but brakes could be a little better. ✅
@GREEN SARK I don’t deserve your praise but it’s really humbling I appreciate it! The Zeus is not a bad board but Flux is definitely a huge progression from that :)
With 1500 WH, I would have believed any price, but I've seen boards with all-around way lower specs for that money. Also love how well the slim-looking, understated Design hides the massive Power. Good job Flux 🙂
I appreciate this long term review. Too many reviews are after people had the board for like a month. I only care about your opinion after alot of hard riding and miles
