- While camping at Rocky Knob, Virginia, you just have to visit the great little town of Floyd, Va.
Known for it's place on the "Crooked Road," (Virginia's Heritage Music Trail) Floyd offers many delightful sights and sounds that are hard to find anywhere else. That's our destination this week!

Yes, I'm nuts about hardware stores, especially the old time ones, because they have more unique things. Small towns also appeal to me because the each have their own special charm and character. I didn't have time to show the beautiful old houses in Floyd, but maybe next time. Have you been to this part of the country before?

Hey Thanks! I appreciate that. You do such a great job of narrating in person, you really don't need voice overs, though. I enjoyed Floyd, but didn't get to enjoy the best part, namely, the MUSIC! Oh well, next time then.

Great job and thank you for doing this. Camped this area many times growing up. My mothers ancestors come from SW VA and I am very much into searching our ancestry and have been tramping all over the area. Spent many weekends just packing the tent and taking off for the mountains of VA. I love that area. Thanks for the walk down memory lane-Kat

That looks like an awesome camp area. Very neat to see a dear and donkey. I think our RV might be to big to stay there but I really enjoyed your video.
There are a few sites that CAN handle a large rig. Before we left a HUGE toy hauler, with a dualie pulling it, set up in the park. Also, I saw a big class A with 20' cargo trailer the time before. So don't let that stop you. Some sites are big enough. But thanks for watching, and I appreciate your comment!
