@@jamiemorton113 that's an amazing series. There's a couple others also from the same detective. Pretty crazy. People just went missing. Experienced hunters and woodsman just gone.. well worth a watch!
Chris just wanted to thank you for the 40 minutes of video. I’m so addicted that I find I need at least 40 minutes a night or I go through withdrawals. What you feel is boring is mesmerizing to us. Keep up the great work!
I'm retired now from construction I used to be a utility inspector with the Big Gas Company up here in Ontario and I really enjoyed watching operations of the machines digging around gas mains and making sure they never hit him and I can sit here for hours watching you operate you're quite the operator smooth.😀👍👍🍁
Skilled tradesman are a dying breed sir. Drivers, welders, constructors of all kinds. It's amazing to these artists show the mastery of their crafts. I'm part of the millennial generation but I've been raised with the value of hard work and a wide range of skill sets. I've worked asphalt, turned wrenches and now I'm a driver and while in high school I built houses expecting that to be my trade until the market crashed in 08/09 and I had no work when I got out of school. It has saved me so much money being able to do just about anything myself and the satisfaction that comes with a job well done. Love watching your stuff sir. I haven't witnessed such finesse of an operator in one of these in a long while and getting the shots you do, really nails the fact home that you truly are as skilled as it looks to be from the outside. The tools are an extension of your body and it really shows. Also definitely love the smoothness in that Volvo's hydraulic system. I've used a lot of different brands here and there when I was doing asphalt and crisp, smooth hydraulic systems and controls are critical if you desire perfection and not visit the chiropractor on a weekly basis.
WOW, you're really gonna need a bath for the Volvo when you get finished with this project. What a mess you got into with that sinkhole. Good thinking to move the rock into it for a better base to work around. As always, Chris, you have good plans in your head and you execute them perfectly.
I had to hold my breath there a few time it looked like you were going swimming in mud... Amazing how your mind remembered after so many years and ponds that there was a sink hole off to the right! Your an amazing young man! Thank you for your time and talent🙃

You know that's crazy that you would never think that someone would want to watch someone excavate. But watching Chris is like so calming. And he's so good with that excavator he understands common sense and I'm so happy to know that there's someone out there that still has common sense that operates large equipment I drive truck for a living and I see a lot of people without common sense. I guess that's one of the reasons why I'm subscribed to his channel is because he has a gift I've been watching Chris now for 5 years 6 years and one of the First videos that I ever was blown away with was when he went out to Vegas and he walked that excavator down a beam and he did it without even warming up or even practicing. I would say I have just about as many hours watching Chris as I do watching movies in the last 5-6 years and how I found Chris was watching him bust beaver dams I had a fascination with watching large bodies of water disappear. Now I have a fascination with watching Chris play in sinkholes and dig out ponds. Huge fan as long as he's making the videos I will continue watching them. The sink hole is one of two things either a man made silt trap or more likely an erosion feature caused by the culvert when spatting during or after very heavy rain.

Thinking about the hole. If it isn't a planned hole, what do you think about using the "mud" to fill it, with the aid of a vibrator like is used when pouring concrete foundations? The solids settle and the water jumps to the top. Not sure, but the mud might need mixing with something -- every MODU that I've been on, had it's own mud engineer (sometimes multiple ones); they've always seemed pretty nice to me, so you could ask.
