    that dude has obviously spent many years handling large, powerful dogs. He actually used the same defensive fighting move large dogs and heavyweight boxers use; the clinch. he kept his body weight pressed against the dog's neck and achieved head control. Dogs push their side against their attacker , using their body to stay out of reach of the attacking dogs mouth, while getting a better position to mount an attack. Risky move, but this guy saved the day.

    could be stressful situation in hot weather and waiting too long for all dogs there, what I think is the dog behind him grow or too close his hips. the most dog doesn't like that. Look carefully about 14 sec place, as you can see tosa behind 's hair is up on his back meaning that tosa was showing fearful. but look at the front tosa does not showing any aggressiveness. if the front tosa is aggressive dog, The owner of tosa never could hold his tosa and make his tosa composed by 10 second .
    after that happened, watch another tosa right side, If the front tosa is aggrieve , that tosa already try to attck right side tosa as well. but was not showing aggressiveness toward to any of.
    The front tosa is not dog aggressive. to me He has a good drive. This could be happened any of breed, not just tosa!

If Tosa are just large pitbulls who lack self-control like these ones, then I don't get the appeal at all and they would seem more like a liability. Then again, maybe the guys handling these dogs just didn't train their dogs very well.

      They are Tosa Inu, the Japanese breed used for dog fighting but the style of fighting is more each dog trying to be more dominant by imposing their strength and weight on the other than it is domination by biting. "The object of the dog fight is not to harm the other dog as is the way of the Western fights, but to dominate the opponent and pin them down. The Japanese Tosa was mixed with the Bulldog and Bull Terrier (for diligence and stubbornness), Mastiff and St Bernard (for strength and size), Great Dane (for height), Pointer (for focus), Bloodhound (for extra skin), Dobermann (for intelligence) and the Dogue De Bordeaux (for bulk)."

    There is a good reason why Tosas are banned in quite a number of countries. You can't just always say is not the dog or the breed, but the owner. Why? Because in reality most owners can't handle these powerful and dangerous breeds. You can't expect every single dog owner to be like Cesar Millan.

  • @MotoQuickShifter

    i agree with you to a certain extent, the Tosa has been bred for doing a job and thats to fight for hundreds and hundreds of years,on the other hand the Pitbull was originaly bred for huntiing then over time the pitbulls spent more time fighting each other rather than hunting whilst hunting hence why they wer used to fight instead of hunting...over time the pitbull evolved over time with carefull selective breeding for fighting purposes but ppl are forgeting the hinks bull and terrier 1 of 2

    • @vernonfrance2974
      @vernonfrance2974 3 роки тому

      The pit bull is the result of the cross of bull dogs and terriers. Only the terrier side was for hunting. Terriers got their name from their ability to "go to ground," which meant trying to pursue "vermin" into their burrows by digging. Terre is the Latin word for earth or ground.
      The bull dog was for fighting bulls. The combo of bull dog and terrier was used exclusively for combat with other dogs. This is because the bull dog owners were prohibited from fighting bulls in 1825 so they started having dog fights. Some large breed terriers were then fought with the bull dogs and often won because of greater agility and speed. Then the idea of crossing them to get a dog with great strength, massive jaws and agility was conceived. One of the first names for this cross was "Bull and Terrier." You still have the Staffordshire Bull Terrier in England. The American Staffordshire Terrier is just a name change of the Pit Bull since John Colby found that the American Kennel Club did not want to register dogs known for mortal combat.
