I would go with Tranceport or that Goa mix he did awhile back as his best. Also some of the Radio1 mixes he has done. Really there is too much to choose from. He got really stale when he had his residency at the Palms in Vegas. Can't fault the guy for making that money.

Yeah , hes opened with the classic 'Animal at a few gigs , and plays some sweet older classics , in fact quite a few to my joyful surprise. In a recent interview he slammed new electronic music and edm, justifiably. his reigning era was the absolute pinnacle of our musical lives , and its superb to see him play like this again. :)
People kept asking for the last 10 years that Oaky stop playing all the new sh*t and go back to the real trance he used to play in the last 90s and early 00s. Looks like he finally caved in... Finally! The new EDM just does not provide quality ingredients for his sets.

I wish producers would bring back these sounds... The Progressive House and Trance sound of the late 90's and early 2000's was some of the best music ever made. It was so atmospheric and intelligent. When did it all go to shit?

I'm 3 years old, but I remember my great-grandmother playing Paul Oakenfold when I was little. My great-grandmother always tell me that Tiesto were the only music that helped me sleep. Avicii played a MASSIVE role on inspiring me to a be a music producer.
All those looking for the track lists just look at the white Creamsfields double CD and the next 3 released CDs, (sorry the names escape me) transport and traveling or something like that. I'm so happy to have been given a chance to remember 20 years ago. I wonder if this is right about 20 years since the end of his residency. He is throwing down a 20 year old set. The Man, the miestro, THE LEGEND!!
