From deep in the Buckland Museum archives, here is Raymond Buckland, Scott Cunningham, Selena Fox and Antiga on the S.J. Raphael show sometime in 1987.
Scott and Raymond were so beautiful and gave a lot to Wicca, and I personally use their books. Blessed Be to you both on your journeys beyond the veil ❤
Wow, look at Selena. I was 10 years old then ,and I had no idea that I'd meet her and be at many of her rituals at Circle Sanctuary.
I had the honor to march with her last year at Parliament of World Religions in Chicago.
Powerful Experience 🌛🌕🌜
Seeing Scot and Raymond here is remarkable now that we see what they have left us. Their teachings have become so profound and substantial for anyone who studies the Craft regardless of one’s personal style. If you only had those two authors libraries you would have all you ever need. Legends!!
Gratefully, there is less ignorance these days and more educated knowledge and understanding of those of us who are Pre - Christian.
Love, Peace, and Blessed Be !
Every time buckland gets interrupted, I want to scream.
every time Buckland gets interrupted, take a shot XD
We must protect Buckland. Haha
Scott was a young skippy man with much wisdom to share and an eagerness to share it, and Buckland was a wise man who says little, but everything he says means a whole lot. They are like the sun and the moon. Of course, we can’t have one without the other. They were both very wise men.
@@angryoldman9140 You said it all. Totally agree
Wow...a trip down memory lane! I remember this show when it came out. Thanks for posting this!
Scott Cunningham coming in hot calling out Antiga for saying she likes the word "witch"... wtf.
Antiga: there's no better term for a powerful woman than "witch" 😊
Cunningham: YES THERE IS 😡
wonderful to see this, I began in the 90's and Buckland and Cunningham were two important authors I focused on back then. Of the three Cunningham was at the top of my list as far as those that I desired to read.
They did so well. Scott is a little feisty, but the other 3 speak very eloquently
Ty for sharing I wish the sound didn't go wonky towards the end
omggg look at selena fox ❤
Scott Cunningham comes across super condescending in this interview 😅 I wish Ray was allowed more air time as he spoke with such intelligence, and didn't get emotional, which is helpful in such interactions.
It was lots of fun reading on the Psychic Fair tours. 🔮
Damn shame what happened to the sound toward the end!
I'm familiar with Scott, Selena & Ray. Any background info on Antiga?
she lives in ashville and is a member of mother grove. im not sure if she is still alive but thats what i found.
@@wiccanpriest09 Thank you! I lived in Asheville but don't recall meeting her. I'll inquire with friends still there. I'll let you know if I learn any thing.
The questions...So much ignorance.
We could say all day "we don't believe in Satan" "we aren't Christians" and the next day someone would ask why we worship Satan.
Unfortunately that mentality- "if you aren't for a CHRISTIAN GOD- you are against it" is super ridiculous.
Did you know Jesus was not Christian he was pagan educate yourself wake up
Pioneers
Except Selena Fox who took $ from people to build a farm then told them they were not allowed on the land
While digging through these archives, is there any chance you could re-publish or scan the old copies of the Seax-Wica Voys? I'm sure there's a lot of history and knowledge we'd all love to see come to light again.
oh I agree. that would be a real treat.
Do I detect some generational trauma in the blue sweater lady who said she did not like the term 'witch?' Glad things got a little more out of the broom closet these days.
🌒🌕🌘
the witch crew kinda looked like they got schooled a bit in this episode. speaking over one another and going on the defense.
uncle Buckie and the granny were holding it together a lot more than Scott and Selena
I disagree. I thought Selena was very composed, and clear. :)
no sound...
Very very interesting 🤔
Scott seems to be people pleasing here. Saying what he thinks people want to hear. He did love to es he called himself a witch
Right? he used the term in his books
Wicca: male, Wicce (pronounced "witch"): female
Coming back to this after a year, I also will comment that the term "Christian" was a Roman word which originally was derogatory. Jesus came to abolish the need for any religion, yet a do-it-yourself religion was built up around the Grace which He freely gave to those who said "yes" to Him and decided to be with Him. So in that way, "christianity" is a man-made religion, but always know that in fact Salvation is not about religion at all, but about relationship.
Good points. But salvation, in some aspects is about fear mongering - in the way of "believe this way" or you're going to hell (a Christian construct.)
@@SparkiMcSparks Churchianity has made it into fear-mongering, I agree. In actuality, Salvation is a completion of what some term the highest self. We are all in a type of default finality, and what we are granted is a New Beginning.
Acts 17:30-31.
Romans, 14:22
Great show. Too bad the sound went to crap.
