In this video Bungus and I test out whether or not using a smaller hook (silver and up) will help us catch more gold and diamond fish than a bigger hook (gold and up). Bungus used the silver and above hook and I used the gold and above hook. Spoiler alert: Bungus had a lot more fun than I did!
We know this isn't a full proof test, its just a small sample size. For this to be truly accurate we would need to repeat this over and over and over. But it does produce some interesting results! Plus this video shows off an insane hotspot for diamond brook trout and cutthroat trout. So if you are beginner looking for help on where to catch big trout then this video is also for you! It can also help you decide on how to catch big trout as well!

Not just more fun on the Silver Hook, but more fish = more XP and money too
I always use silver hooks and I feel like I get a good amount of diamonds but like you said it’s more fun catching so many more fish too

Really struggling to find a good largemouth spot, what is the best bait and size to use and where the hell do I go lol
I use a #5 popper, twitching. I'm lvl 116 and only caught about 4 or 5 diamond bass. They are hard to catch. Try morning time too.
@@davidtaylor4492 will give it a go ty, any specific spots that are pretty good or just have to get lucky
Try fishing at the blue bridge with a size five popper, and fish from the morning all the way to the late afternoon/evening.

I always go after silvers. Fishing for golds and diamonds is boring.
