Turn shadows and reflections down to minimum and you should be able to play the rest at maximum settings and remain over 30fps Those settings have the littlest impact on visual quality while also having the biggest impact on performance
Thank you for this is miles better! What about film grain and motion blur? I know these are mostly personal preference but just wondering what looks best with this game. Thanks
@@jamh666init Film grain sucks. I prefer a clean image. It can be a good filter for some scenes, I guess Motion blur varies in games. It typically does impact performance. It can make lower frame rates less choppy in motion. The heavier/thicker the motion blur quality, the higher the frame rate you'll need. Having rly heavy motion blur is unplayable at 30fps as opposed to 120
Yeah I don’t like either to be honest going g to leave them both off. I’ve just experienced a crash straight away with 30 fps limit . I’m just changed to proton 8.0 to see if any change. Somebody on Reddit said they changed to it and not experienced another crash 40 hours in. See what happens Thanks
MK11 is quite impressive 60fps high settings. Game is over 100go with high quality textures. Also you can find this game for ultra dirt cheap on sales now like under 8$
For Ultra, turn on 1 by 1 settings from high to Ultra till the FPS drops below 30. As soon as FPS drops below 30, make that setting to High and continue with remaining settings.
Have you purchased the games from Steam Store or these are quacked/pirated windows games ? I had Steam Deck LCD version but the experience was not that much good and thats the reason I sold it Now I am planning to purchase this OLED Model or may be wait for Rog Ally 2 as that would probably launch this year -
These are purchased from steam. I played them on the LCD version when it first came out and they ran well too. The OLED is great but if you can wait i'm sure the Ally 2 or some of the version 2 handhelds coming out this year are going to be amazing.
@@nophacetech Yes That would be okay - I already have PS5 & Series X for playing games. Steam Deck is good but you have to Compromise on something, either performance or quality. I dont wanna use FSR as it fade outs the quality of the game in most cases. Secondly I dont wanna use low preset settings, I need high Preset with 45 to 60 Stable FPS at the same time but Unfortunately there are very few games for that - Otherwise the frames fluctuates in Steam Deck and are not stable at all (hogwarts legacy, uncharted, starfield, cyberpunk etc) causing a Stutter effect which is annoying and the resolution is also 800P , not a proper 1080P So I shall wait , 👍 Thanks for the Suggestion.
I ordered my OLED some days ago. I'm aware of the fluctuations and that it won't work well with Horizon Zero Dawn and Unreal 5 engine games. Anyway I've seen gameplay for Doom Eternal, Forza 5, Persona 5 and many others. For me the performance looks okayish to excellent. Plus the screen looks so good even in videos. Playing some cozy indies or games like Ori in bed will be a treat. If I want the flashy games with high fps and raytracing I'll just play it on PC. But I do believe waiting is a good decision if you play more demanding games. Be aware though that the new devices won't solve the problem of Windows handhelds regarding subpar standby behaviour and excessive battery usage.

@@jamh666init I hear this game has a memory leak problem. Having settings higher than "Original" causes frequent crashing on Steam Deck
EY this ones got a lot more views! Well done on the video Brother Man!
thank you :D
Thank you man you're videos really help with optimizing games on the deck!!!
Thanks glad you find it useful 🤘🏼🙏🏼
