Why didn't you add turbines and have this make electricity for you? With those newer spinner units they have released it would be easy to add 4 units to your dam and have lots of 110 volt power.

Please consider fish migration in these builds. A fish ladder or even better would be a a fish by-pass channel where the aquatic inhabitants can still move up and down past this dam (now a migration barrier).
