This was great! Love hearing from your guests and learning more. Also appreciate how you let your guests have the floor and take up the majority of the conversation.
Im mixed race myself half mexican and half eastern European. Because my fathers family immigrated here in the 70s from Prague, I never had any knowledge or experience of my Czech heritage. On the other hand my mother is mexican and I got to grow up alongside her family. Because I'm mixed race and grew up with more Latin influence that's what I feel more connected to, but constantly have people question my heritage and for some odd reason I've had people accuse me of lying. I've had people feel comfortable saying some pretty racist things around me, assuming I'd be okay with it, so I have to say being mixed race is certainly a confusing experience, you never really fit just right anywhere
Thank you for sharing 💕 never forget that you ARE both and shouldn’t be considered not enough of one thing or another regardless of how other people feel about it. Being mixed isn’t an excuse for other to be racist around you. Sending love 💕

It’s almost as if white/black/asian is is a physical phenotype and not actually a culture
In America, “Black” is actually also a culture. Hence, Black American Culture.
