L’Oreal sounds just about perfect. Imperceivable. ❤. When you do choose a shade for mixing, please update.

Thank you for the review. You are SHINING! I started out loving them both but the Neutrogena is sooooooo perfect for me. I use a flat foundation brush with two layers and it blends effortlessly. I set it with a little Fit Me powder and my face looks like I have nothing on. It lasts for 12 hours and still looks great and covers my hyperpigmentation. The L'Oreal has lots of alcohol so overtime it started to dry me out. Like you, I also had a problem finding a match in the L'Oreal.

Good point! My skin is not too sensitive to alcohol in foundation formulations so i tend to overlook that aspect, good to hear the neutrogena sensitive skin name lives up to expectations!

Thank you for the review! I've had the L'oreal one sitting in my cart for a few days now, but was hesitating on what shade to get. I think my skin tone has about the same depth as yours, maybe just sliiiightly lighter, and yeah I do think I need to mix 2 shades together based on other reviews I've seen of the product. I might just get this though because my go-to (and only) foundation in my makeup stash is no longer available and I've had it for about 2 years now, so I probably should try branching out.

Glad I wasn't the only one who thought shade 2-3 dried orange, scared to go lighter but maybe rosy light will be a match

How was the rosy light?? The very light made me look slightly ghostly and I’m afraid of the orange risk with shade 2-3

Would love to see you review the new hourglass foundation and how it compares to Kosas and Nars

@@serenak it looks beautiful on the skin! To me it’s less luminous than the Nars. You should review it

Shade suggestion, here! I have a very similar light olive skintone to yours. I would have never chosen it by the name, but there's a newer shade in the L'oreal, 1-2.5 rosy light, that blends in better than either of the 2 lightest shades they previously had. It doesn't look pink/cool in the bottle and doesn't oxidize on my skin, just kind of evens any redness and disappears in. Hope this helps!

New subscriber here! Thanks for this comparison because I had both of these foundations in mind. Guess I also have to grab two colors for the L'oreal though. 🥲
