Hello Vladimir - Beautiful tutorial - thanks for explaining so well how to use the peacock strand. I really like the color combo here. I think you said Hook size 16. What bead size did you use? 3.0 or smaller?
Thanks Vladimir. Also I did not realize you were using inverting bead with Jig hooks. I have only used them on normal hooks to invert them. The advantage I see here is that it opens up more space on hook shank for fly dressing so we can use smaller size hook. Is this why or is there another reason ? So the bead here was a 4.0 and the hook 16? I know size is all over and as you said earlier Devin has a nice video on this topic.
I love your jig off tungsten beaded nymph tyings and the way they present (level) in the rivers I fish…I learn something new from each of your helpful and enjoyable videos …thanks for making my time at the vise and on the water so pleasurable…all the best
@@Tjk186 thank you so much. Glad i could help. Wish i could do more fishing videos. Thats what i also enjoy. I have ideas but good fishing places are far away.
Hello Vladimir - I am curious to know if you have tied some Ceramic French Nymph and if not, what you think about them. Do you view these as same class as Perdigon? I don't think they are very popular in USA but being French, I came across them many time on French channels.
Hi, i saw them long ago as high school kid. It looked like nothing else at the time but i was aware they are fish catchers. I never tried them though. Mainly because i didnt have paint. Then later i forgot about it. Now i know i could've used nail polish or whatever else i had. But also no need to mske them now. Not a tying challenge to be honest 😀😀😀 But yes...agree, same as perdigon. I'd say its kind of origin of it.
@@Oholisfliesandfishing😆I agree - not much tying challenge there for sure. I will stick to my Perdigons and some of the must have /beautiful tying you are sharing with us.
Your fly tying videos are simply top notch - keep 'em coming!
Thanks so much. There is a lot of room for improvement. I am trying to figure out voiceovers. It would make them a bit shorter and more to the point.
Yes, I definitely learned something new even if I have been tying flies for 50 years! Cheers mate. Harera
Glad to hear that. Thank you so much. Cheers

Glad you like it, thanks for watching. Bead is 4mm. But anywhere from 2.3 to 4 is ok. Depends on the river...

@StephaneBogen i use jig offs on jig hooks to get more space and to make it ride level. Like balanced fly. Yes. #16 plus 4mm

Nice tie. I like the peacock herl technique.
What is the flat pink wire that you used?
Thanks. Flat wire is bought here in China. But a friend mentioned he saw some sold in Europe (online)
@@Oholisfliesandfishing thanks, do you have a web site in China?
