I enjoyed watching that, what a glorious day with lovely English country villages. I love the late autumn colours on the trees and the smells that go with it all especially when people have the log fires going in the villages.. superb!
The colours on the new camera are really rich and deep with great stabilisation, I know you are planning to use it as a rear view camera due to the size and weight of it, and can't argue with that logic to be fair, the more weight you can keep off the helmet the better. I've been off my bike for a couple of months now due to arthritis in my neck and have recently stripped the camera mount, sena headset etc off hoping if and when I get back on I can hopefully reduce the chance of another serious flare up, this has taken 390 gms off the helmet and brought it back down to 1.32 kg so hopefully this will suffice.
I really can't understand why triumph can't knock out some interesting colour scheme options, time after time it's the same safe staid offerings it must be putting off potential buyers, something like the Tri colour offerings from BMW and Honda would be a nice start...
Hope your Spanish tour fills up and is successful for you.
    Cheers.

Thank you for your comment and observations. I hope you recover or improve enough from the arthritis, to get back on your biking soon. Cheers, Paul.

Thank you for not adding music to your videos. I enjoyed the sound track of your triple engine.

Enjoyed your ride through all the villages and country roads. You mentioned the GoPro subscription deal. Here it's $100 AUD cheaper to buy the camera with the subscription than without. From what I've read, if you cancel the subscription within the first 12 months, you then have to pay GoPro the $100 saved at purchase. In other words, I would have to renew the subscription for one more year then cancel it before that 2nd year is up.

Hi Jeff, firstly, thanks for watching and commenting. In the UK, the GoPro cancellation T&C's state (as of this morning) "If your Subscription begins with a Free Introductory Trial, you may cancel at any time before the end of the Free Introductory Trial without incurring any obligation to pay the Fee and You may continue to use the Subscription until the end of Your Free Introductory Trial. If you are an EU resident, you may exercise your right of withdrawal within 14 days of the Effective Date by contacting Support or cancelling as described below". It's a 'loss leader' type of product...but I have to say, that the amount of time it takes to auto upload your data direct from the cam whilst charging; or from your PC later after you've downloaded it yourself...is not worth the hassle, unless, unlike myself, you live in South Korea and benefit from a 1Gbit/s connection! Ride safe. Paul.

Really nice results from that camera, I'm still holding off on the 10 after all my issues with the 7. You were chatting about Brittany Ferries, we moved this years booking to next and were disappointed the outward ferry is now two nights instead of one. Apparently even though the new ferries the Galicia and Salamanca are state of the art, they go slower for eco reasons!!!!! I recon I could drive my van with the bikes in down through France to Santander as quick. (and probably cheaper)

Hi Richard, I've only had an issue with GoPro's in my early days, when I didn't realise that you MUST use a certain type of SD card...I always use SanDisk Extreme Plus Class 10. I think the H10 is too large & heavy as a helmet cam really, as I may have said. I'll be using it as a secondary cam from now on, then I can quickly remove it for piece to camera; photos; or drive-by shots. Your point about Brittany Ferries two-night trip to Spain is interesting, as I was also triple checking whether I was going mad! I assumed that it was because I was selecting Portsmouth, because my previous trips have been overnight from Plymouth...but that's a b***ache getting down/back from Devon. Thanks for watching. Paul.

Hi Richard, please recommend any great local rides you know. One of my viewers reached out with one earlier! The TT route, would that possibly be the Bike Magazines vid I filmed recently? If not, please educate me…Cheers, Paul.

My old stomping ground (Northamptonshire), and encroaching onto my new location, so roads and villages many of which I know well.
If you had continued on the Banbury Lane, beyond where you turned off left at Maidford, this would have taken you through Litchborough, Bugbrooke and Kislingbury, where you could have crossed the A4500 onto Sandy Lane, turned left onto Nobottle Road and returned to Daventry via Nobottle, Whilton Locks and Norton. More interesting than the A45 and a slight extension to your journey.

Thanks for the recommendation, I’ve already plotted it out via MRA and loaded it for next filming session…doesn’t look like a long route but seems to offer some good sweepers (Google Street)…I look forward to using it…once the rain stops!

Just found your channel and I love your videos. Your smooth but quick riding go well with your pleasant dialog! I have to ask, why get rid of your Tiger for a newer bike? It sounds sweet and strong.

Thank you Michael and welcome to the channel. I’m currently thinking the same thing about my bike, as there’s nothing wrong with it, other than a weight problem, like most of us🥴. Cheers. Paul.

What a great video, i have been thoroughly enjoying watching your rides! Do you have any advice for someone who wants to make his first European ride? I’m coming from aus so i’m looking to hire a bike in milan and make my way into the apls, I have about 7-10 days, any advice is much appreciated.

    • @YarroMoto
      @YarroMoto  2 роки тому

Hi Joshua, firstly, great to hear that you enjoy watching my vids and thank you for picking up the keyboard to tell me 👍. I'm sure that you've heard me mention the motorcycle club, based in the UK, that I have enjoyed joining on many Euro trips over the years. I like the freedom to ride my own routes during the day, stopping when I want to, yet enjoy the company of others for a meal and beers in the evening. If that's you, check out PEMC.co.uk/event and click the 2022 Calendar button...I think the 31st July trip 'Over The Mountains To Lake Garda' might suit you? DM me on my Yarro Moto FaceBook page and I can help ensure that you get on one of these trips, as you are travelling so far.
If planning your own trip, don't overestimate your daily mileage in mountains...it's not like Aus! 250 miles is easy on a motorway but 250 miles in the mountains could take you all day! Secondly, Switzerland...it's very expensive, for everything...and do not get caught speeding, EVER. Even a few Km over limit will result in a fine and they have hidden cameras all over the place. If caught at higher speed difference, your holiday will be over and you'll be asked to leave the Country, without the motorcycle.
Alternatively, I've created some Guides for Andy, on his MadOrNomad.com website and Simon Weir has a great guide to European Touring >>> www.madornomad.com/tips-for-planning-a-european-motorcycle-tour/
