Fu Hai Feng, Tan Boon Heong, Ko Sung Hyun, Muhd Ahsan, Goh V Shem will always be my fav back court players because of how powerful their smashes and their jumping technique..
My ideal stroke😍 i'm not left-handed player but he's the most beautiful posture in the air of the badminton, for me😁I watched his matches thousand times in my teen-age😂Maybe it seems to be million times😬😅
FHF's games were always predictable; no fancy trick shots, just simple powerful, well-placed shots. But even so, there was nothing his opponents could do about it. Fu was simply too stable in both defense and offense. Extremely rare to see him made an unforced error.
He was actually pretty error prone earlier in his career, but since that loss at OG beijing he became a different monster. he was also the best player on court when he won his second OG gold at rio, that's amazing considering he played with zhang nan who were in his prime.
I know racquet technology is even better now days, and the *in game* record is over 400km/h (obviously there's been faster smashes in a controlled setting), but you still have to admit Fu Haifeng was freakishly strong on the court. A couple of those smashes, he is falling backwards, out of position, and still generating insane head speed to create smash winners. Unreal. His 332km/h in game record stood for quite a long while.
No they just changed the way they measure the shuttlecock speed, hence the difference in those eras. His 332km/h back then could easily be around 400km/h today. And the racket tech today is just slightly better than that time
They estimate the speed when the shuttlecock left the rocket, but the technology of speed estimation gets better. The thing with badminton is that the shuttlecock faces huge air resistance when the speed is large, so the speed decays fast. And better estimation technology takes a shorter time window of movement. Consequently, the estimated speed will be higher.
WTF? HE won second Olympic gold with Zhang Nan. Yes, the form may somewhat drops due to his age but playing with other player allow him to play more variation in style and shots.
Hendra/ahsan ketemu cai/fu disaat mereka udah di akhir2 masa keemasannya, mereka selalu ketemu pasca OG 2012, cai/fu akhirnya dipecah setelah kejuaraan dunia 2013. ahsan/hendra justru rekornya buruk waktu fu pasangan sama zhang nan.

1:54... that height.... i thought he walked on the air
7:08 anyone know what match this is?
2010 China masters
-7:14 I meant sorry not 7:08? Anyone know what match it is
All england.
2009 all England semi final vs boe and mogensen
3:29 lol Jung Jae Sung
Why always with Korean?
Because those time, the final matches were always FU/CAI VS JUNG/LEE.
TBH saif Korean good in defense..
whats extra crazy is that he doesnt even use a head heavy racket. Its pure technique
i wonder how players nowaday got easily 300++ even 400++ km/h smash speed, is the calculation method has any difference with cai/fu era?

Link to part 1 in description maybe?
Imagine if he using highend racket 2023 like astrox or ryuga😮damnnn
Sadly, Fu Haifeng never reach his top game again after Cai Yun retired.

@@gr4j0m3r That's what i mean tho. But he still my alltime favourite player.
In doubles we can make these kinda videos on every player because everybody smashes with the same power…
