When my son was young we put glow in the dark stars on the ceiling of his bedroom. It was pretty cool! Maybe those crochet snowflakes we make for our Christmas trees. That would be interesting! Thanks, Crystal!!
Very cool! Brings to mind all the jelly stuff in the 80s. Funky accessories for sure - adding it to flip flop bases, making bags, bracelets/necklaces/lanyards...
I love this. You are so much fun Crystal! I bet this would make a cool crochet hanging basket hanger. You could hang them up outside and then they would glow at night! Very cool.
That was one of my first thoughts, Jelly Sandals and the great idea of having a Jelly Purse for the beach sounds Fun! Bracelets are always fun, esp. the glow in the dark!
Back in the 60s and 70s when I was a kid we used that stuff at summer camp to make key chains and friendship bracelets. Little John's crochet reviewed this and tried making some stuff. The consensus was that it's fine for kids. I think it's the same material those Jelly shoes are made out of. So new for some of us but it's been around for a long time. I think it's used for little kids jewelry beading too. I vaguely remember that from Sunday school.
That glow in the dark yarn would be awesome to make a teddy bear out of for a toddler who is afraid of the dark. Crochet the parts and use a stocking inside to hold in the stuffing. So neat!
I saw "Jelly yarn" and immediately clicked!! It seems like a fun yarn. It reminds me of gimp (the plastic used to make bracelets). I would make a bag out of this yarn. I thought it was interesting that with the blacklight on, the light blue yarn on your shelf was glowing.
Oh my gosh I'm laughing so hard watching you smelling it so much : ) . It does look interesting for sure. That glow is neat. Black light is better! I just love watching you open your new stuff , you can tell how much you love your craft!
That yarn reminded me of the jelly sandals.....I wanted a pair of them when I was a kid lol. So maybe, I would try to make some nice sandals with that yarn.
Hi Crystal. The look on your face was priceless when they said to oil it. 😛. When I saw this someone had used it for they’re stuffed bear collar. This jelly yarn would be so cool for Halloween. Thanks for sharing.
Crystal, My husband and I are allergic to a ton of different smells so THANK YOU SO MUCH for smelling your yarn for us! It is greatly appreciated! ❤️🧶👃🏼🧶❤️ That pink yarn is cute but I really LOVE that gold sparkly one!😍 I can't wait to see what kind of patterns you come up with!
LOL “ it doesn’t split “ you crack me up. Crystal. 😄 I suppose you can get a bag and weave it through the openings.. I’m thinking the one you can get at the dollar stores. .? ?
I think the glow in the dark/black light yarn would make a cool dream catcher or mandala wall hanging. Might be cool for a macrame plant hanger. I have so many ideas in my head for this stuff!!! ✌🏼💚🧶
Marilyn, they are back! My granddaughters were them, but how fun would they be if they glowed at night? My littlest one is just about 4, the rest are teenagers. But even then how fun to braid up some friendship bracelets and such for them?
Crystal, you are the best, you’re always be my number one.who else would be the first to show us this yarn.I laughed when you said it wouldn’t split on you. Thanks for being you.😘
Oh Crystal!! LOL!! I laughed so hard when you said that we know it won’t split!! I thought the same thing!! So funny! But I do think that it would make a nice beach bag though! Wet towels and bathing suits won’t bother it at all! I agree with you... it is so cool!! Thank you! love ya and Stay Safe! 😊💖 Oh! Did the gold one not glow in either light? 🤔
One of my sons stuck a packing peanut up his nose when he was very very young, a quick visit to an ENT doctor and it was removed from his sinus cavity. Children are always surprising!
It reminds me of the Jelly Shoes that my girls loved when they were little 😊💝! I'd love to make a Beach Bag out of it 💝💝💝! That is super cool 😊💝!!! LOL, love the not splitting comment 😊💝!
I was reading the comments and there is a lot of great ideas . I think a rug to put in the bathtub for kids would be an idea . You know how kids love to play in the tub . Love and Hugs .
I have been a camper for so many summers, Girl Scouts mostly! Remind s me of all the lovely crafts we did all summer long! I will probably crochet some stars and hang them in my grandson's room with black thread!!!!!
I'd make bags, decorations for my porch, Christmas decorations, a safety vest or backpack cover for kids who catch the bus in the dark and fun stuff for my RV. There are so many possibilities for fun with this yarn! Thank you for a cool review!
A bag is also what first came to mind. But reading through the comments it does remind me of keychain or old school bracelets. My niece would love this!!
Most interesting unboxing I've seen 😄 easy to wash right! Gosh there are so many things you could make. Wind chimes with beads, leashes, baskets. So fun!

Flashback to the jelly shoes I wore in the 80s, lol! It looks cool as a novelty thing, but I think the only thing I’d make with it would be a bag....maybe a basket to store garden tools?
Fantastic, your a dream. I see Freddie Mercury behind you. Awesome. That excited me like your talks on yarn. You get so excited. You have a Blessed Day🙏🏻
Hi Crystal, I never thought that fad would come back. I always liked the black light. And I loved the felt posters that glowed in the dark too. They always had the pretty bright colors on them. It was a fun time in life.
That's cool. I think kid or teen bracelets for a black light party would be fun or keychains or definitely a bag. It looks fun to play with. Thank you for showing us this.
I really liked the Honey Gold...I bet you can make soles of shoes and sandals...a pair of tongs...children's purses, beach bags children would really LOVE the fact that everything glows!!!!
Thanks for the entertainment crystal. I appreciate things I can listen to in between tasks, to liven my day up. I think a wall hanging or a mandala project would be super cool.

I think a stuffed animal hammock for a kids room would be cool with the glow-in-the-dark colors!
My girls would love a stuffie hammock with this yarn.
That's a great idea 💡!!
What a fantastic idea!
Great idea! You could also make a hammock for fruit in your kitchen.

Hi Crystal! Jelly Yarn that glows in the dark cool! I would use it to crochet tote bag handles or maybe even a crochet belt. Thanks for sharing! 😊🧶😊🧶😊
The glow in the dark one would be cool to add to knit hats for visibility at night while walking the dog or running...
Ooo good idea!
I think that is one of the best ideas ever!!
This jelly yarn would make great bracelets, lanyards, key chains, etc.
When my son was young we put glow in the dark stars on the ceiling of his bedroom. It was pretty cool! Maybe those crochet snowflakes we make for our Christmas trees. That would be interesting! Thanks, Crystal!!
Great idea 💡! Love it!
Thats an awesome idea!
Love this idea!
Very cool! Brings to mind all the jelly stuff in the 80s. Funky accessories for sure - adding it to flip flop bases, making bags, bracelets/necklaces/lanyards...
I appreciate you smelling the yarn. I get migraine easy. I’ve had a few yarns that triggered from the odor. This yarn is a trip!! Lol
Kids stuffed animal hammock, maybe some plant hangers for outside that glow would be cool in a garden as well .
It looks like the old school jelly braclets we wore as kids! Stacked as high as we could get them!
That's a good idea too! Crochet the chokers we all wore growing up 😆 and then go to blacklight putt-putt
@@kimbernimue7721 the chokers!😍
I love this. You are so much fun Crystal! I bet this would make a cool crochet hanging basket hanger. You could hang them up outside and then they would glow at night! Very cool.
Haha I laughed so hard when you said, “good news guys, it’s not splitting on me!” 😂😂
Get the fly swatter
🤣
I laughed out loud by mistake and almost woke my son up! 😂🤣😂
Make some water shoes/ socks lol
Hahahaha! Me at “It’s not splitting on me” 😆🤣😄😂😆🤗 laughing hard too!!!
Reminds me of the jelly shoelaces and bracelets from the 80’s! Brings back memories.

I just thought that about an animal collar as well ☺️
Pet collar seems like a neat idea!
Thanks for introducing this yarn to us! I would make a bracelet, project bag so I can find my WIP in the dark, cup cozy thingy, 😂 or a choker!!! 😁 ⚓️💙

That was one of my first thoughts, Jelly Sandals and the great idea of having a Jelly Purse for the beach sounds Fun! Bracelets are always fun, esp. the glow in the dark!
Crystal, I cracked up laughing when you read the instructions that Yarn Is Not Edible! Lol. We used that as kids at church camp to make keychains.
Like lanyard!
Would be awesome to make seat cushions for patio chairs
I definitely want to make seat cushions for my deck chairs now that I seen it glow lol wonder if sunlight would make it glow. I hope so haha
I bet kids would love bracelets & necklaces made out of the glow one. Thanks for showing them Crystal.💜
Reminds me of the glow string we used back in the early 1960's at summer camp to make lariat for our parents to use as key chains..🤷✨⚜️
That would be good for beach bags.

Halloween bags based on some of the colors. Beach clothes bags with others.
Your face reading the suggestion to lubricate the yarn is just priceless 😂

Say what? This is what I get for reading comments before watching the video 😆 🤣 😂
I saw that too! I started to laugh when she starred into the camera. 😂

That glow in the dark yarn would be awesome to make a teddy bear out of for a toddler who is afraid of the dark. Crochet the parts and use a stocking inside to hold in the stuffing. So neat!
It reminds me of boondoggle! And I'd make another web shawl for halloween with it!
I'd make some collars for my dogs. They're always disappearing in the woods at nite....that way I could see them
I think that would be great
I really like the pink yarn, I love that it glows in the dark.
Hello Crystal! That is a neat novelty yarn! I may have to get some and Jelly yarn bomb my grandson's bike. Hey Mr Bod! Thanks for sharing Crystal!

First thing I thought of to make was a bag of some sort. Then bracelets for grandkids.
Bracelets for kids playing outside at night so u can see where they are! Great idea!
It reminds me of the Gimp we used to use to make bracelets when I was a kid
I think you could make jelly shoes for summer if you can get soles. Might be fun.
You could make placemats and coasters for your patio furniture.
That yarn reminded me of the jelly sandals.....I wanted a pair of them when I was a kid lol. So maybe, I would try to make some nice sandals with that yarn.

I think it would make cute key chains, bracelets and/or totes bags. It would make a cute hat lol. Thanks Crystal.
Different. Make a bracelet using 2-3 sc rounds. How do you hide the ends: weaving them in would be hard to do, or do you melt the ends?
You can melt the ends, so maybe weave it in as well as you can then melt it?
Friendship bracelets, bucket hat, flip flops, hand bags so many choices. Thanks for introducing us to something different.

Cool podcast neat “jelly yarn” huh not too sure about it but like you say maybe a beach bag or a rug?? Let us know what you do with it.
You could make a outdoor rug with it...maybe?
That yarn would be great for a shopping or beach bag. Also little flowers that you could sew on a hat, bag etc.
Very cool, maybe baskets or maybe a pair of summer sandals for kids or adults, since you can get it wet and it won't hurt it. Much Love to All. ❣️❣️❣️
