Great video thanks for sharing your knowledge.. my issue aside from the wipers staying on after commanding them to turn off ,, I also get the washer pump that won't turn off as well .,. hoping it will be the same wiper motor module that will fix it ,, but will check the relay first ,..
Same random issue as Marc S. And Rafael. Had my car in the shop for a day and half and it would not fail for them. Only thing that changed was I had the cruise control switch OFF while in the shop. Got my car back fine for 3 days until I turned on cruise control. Maybe coincidence? But u say no power is on turn, cc, wiper handle. Though now my front wipers and spray are whacked out of their minds again! Driving around with no rain makes me look whacked, not my dang car with a mind of it's own 🤨🤦🏻♀️🤣 One other note, when this started a week ago, I pulled all fuses and relays under the hood and nothing stopped the wipers and water tank had drained itself dry by then. Following for possible answers. Thanks
chipmunks like the soy on the wires - I got a free treadmill off craig's list. I harvested the DC Motor and also got the chimpmunk still clamped onto the positive live wire - poor thing.
First of all I would just like to Thank You LEHEW TECH for being one of the best channels for accurate and professional information on many issues that we have with our vehicles. You have help me a number of times with my 2004 Chevy Trailblazer and it is operating well with almost 110K miles. A recent problem with my front wipers and washer staying on, made me disconnect the fuses and use more Rain X. Since all the functions work, but I cannot turn off, I have narrowed it down to the Pulse Board. It’s not an easy part to find, but I wonder if I should order a replacement and have it available, OR from your experience, do you think it could be some moisture or the grease needs to be cleaned from any contacts and then test it to see if I can operate any controls? Thanks again for all your expert advice…
Thanks Pete I'm glad my videos have been helpful. If you send me an email with your VIN number I can get a wiring diagram for you. Youl find my email in the about section of my channel.
I know this is an old video, but I just came across it and wanted to understand all the connections. My problem is the wipers were intermittently working on all speeds except high, and now only work on high. I checked all fuses and can't find any problems. I also replaced the multipurpose switch and that didn't help. I did that because the front sprayers stopped working as well. I swapped the front and rear pumps and got water to spray out the front so I know it's not plugged. That's why I tried a new switch with no avail. I plan to try swaddling the relays tomorrow (think I did that before), but as for the water not spraying, I'm wondering if it could be the plug and if you think I should test the voltage next? So much things failing on this guy! Ahh!
On mine... when I pulled the motor assembly out the motor connector just fell off as if it had been backing out. I noticed it didn't have the Little gray CPA on it, seems like it was missed during assembly. I installed the CPA and now it works. The failures started with the fluid motor working less and less ending with the windshield wipers working only at highest setting.
Front wipers on my 2002 Trailblazer jump or skip on the lowest setting, and work fine when turned up. Any idea how to remedy that problem? Thanks for any help, your video was very helpful.
great vid thanks... My prob is the rear wiper.. the washer motor works.. but after maybe a year of the rear wiper doing some weird stuff like running at random intervals while turned off, has finally stopped working altogether. Firstly I cannot find a fuse in the manual or box. So I guess it's either the switch or the motor. Any thoughts ?? Thanks again
Question my wipers work. Just no fluid working. I took apart front pump its cracked and emptied my reservoir. Would replacement of pump solve fluid spray?
I'm pretty sure it's my relay switch for windshield wipers but my wipers are stuck in intermittent mode and I can't turn them off...Can you please help
I have a question regarding this video, my trailblazer washer sprayer stays on when I turn on the wipers. I just replaced the switch on the steering wheel. I'm thinking it's the computer on the wipers is bad. My I request you're opinion please
THANK YOU!! I was about to pull apart the wiring harness for the front washer. It was the relay!!
Wow a moisture sensor that turns on the wipers? I've never noticed that kicking on. haha. Amazing. thanks

Thanks, this helped find the fuse for front windshield wipers, Trailblazer 2005
Great job explaining this. Come to find out our problem was a chipmunk chewing wires out of the harness!
chipmunks like the soy on the wires - I got a free treadmill off craig's list. I harvested the DC Motor and also got the chimpmunk still clamped onto the positive live wire - poor thing.
OK SO WHAT ABOUT THE FUSE THAT POWER THE REAR WIPER MOTOR
