I like to use them for hunting. Do you think the animals can hear them? I need something where I can listen to podcast but also can hear the animal noises.
I wear these almost all my waking hours. Being blind, my phone is always talking to me, and I don't want the world hearing it. I can use voice assistant anywhere, and the main thing is still being able to hear the environment, cars coming, and conversations without having to remove my headphones! They're brilliant - can't recommend highly enough.
Kudos to Aftershokz for providing a red charging light that changes to blue when charged rather than the usual green. This is a great help to those of us who are colourblind. Thanks for yet another good, informative video, Mat.
@@酗 My Corsair K63 Wireless Keyboard goes from Red to Green when charging, and so does the LED charge indicator on my Galaxy S9+ along with the wireless charging dock I have for it and my Gear S3. Red to Green is pretty common.
Caiden Block Are you a fellow tritanope? Because red -> green is apparently super common (I’m even listening to this video on a pair of headphones that do it) but I’ve never actually seen it either.
I've never seen a bluetooh audio device that goes red - green. They all go red - blue. Dunno if that's kinda a hommage to BT but red - blue are the standard led colors for BT audio devices.
That’s why I bought them , I work in a noisy environment , my hearing is shot , people say bad hearing,, buy these , I will let yu know if they work ,, . I’m an aircraft inspector , I only have voice tones , no highs , no Lowe’s ,
To update I bought them for my mother who is going deaf. Didn't work for her, it depends on the type of hearing loss someone has. If the Cochlea itself is damaged then it won't work. This only serves to bypass the eardrum and small bones, or if someone has excessive earwax etc.
@@Clay3613 Depends what type of hearing damage it is. If the damage is to the eardrum or the ear bones, then yes, these would be quite good. However, a considerable number of cases of hearing damage is caused by damage to the cochlea, and for a person with that, these headphones will be equally useless.
I've got the Trekz Titanium headphones. Great for running without having to worry about having a car sneak up on me. Useless in the gym because, as you mentioned, noisy environments drown them out. And they are also handy when I want to listen to some music in the office without subjecting my coworkers to whatever I'm jamming out to in our cube farm.
One thing these would be good for, and I don't know if you touched on it, but regular headphones don't provide hearing protection like a pair of ear plugs would. So if you're in a really loud environment where damage to your hearing might occur(construction and whatnot) , this might be a good pair of headphones for that. That is, if you could still hear them
so funny you've just reviewed these, i got them four weeks ago on a family holiday in Tokyo and was wondering if you would pick up a set! I find exactly like you, these are a brilliant headset for the car, but also great for me to listen to music whilst in the office, and that way i can still hear things going on around me. And they're surprisingly comfortable, about four times now i've panicked, and looked around my desk for them, only to find i was actually wearing them and i'd just forgotten. The battery last all day for me, no problem, and they're surprisingly loud, and only slightly tickle at the very top volume! I've actually stopped using my other bluetooth headphones for the past four weeks since i got them. Even on the train i can hear all my music surprisingly well, except when it gets exceptionally loud, but even then i can put these up to full and it stands up to the loud external noise pretty well! Anyway, great video as always, always nice to see I've got a Techmoan-approved piece of kit! (you should do a sticker for electronics that you have bought - "Techmoan-Owned")
You actually gave a good review for the single sided deaf/Hard of Hearing community because for some who are deaf in one ear that tingle (which is now gone sadly 12:12) was what helped some figure out what was playing on the deaf side. A couple of years ago I went single sided deaf in one ear from an acoustic tumor so these won't work for me (nerve deaf) so the 2E1: Two Ears in One is the only headphone I can use It allows the single sided deaf to hear in two channel stereo with one ear.
@@audiovideophile5317 While this headset may help those who are hard of hearing because it is louder for, people like me who are 100% deaf in one ear losing that tickle like this new model has done 12:12 is actually a detriment.
I've had my Aeropex for the past couple of months and I absolutely love them! I'd like to point out that I bought them primarily for work as I often pass through areas with heavy forklift traffic. I also don't like ear buds in my ears for long periods of time as they make my ears itch. However being honest, I got them to skirt around the "keep one ear open" rule. With these I can still hear audio in both ears while also keeping them open. Take that stupid "one ear open rule!" Although they are not bass heavy, they have a sufficient amount of bass. As for music quality I think they are fantastic. However I turned them to my ears using Samsung's adapt sound feature on my Galaxy phone. This feature alone can make crappy earphones sound pretty good so I might have EQ'd out some of the sound imperfections by tuning my phone to my hearing. With that said, the Aeropex are the best bluetooth headphones I've ever heard.
It's refreshing to see a manufacturer & a product that takes effort and pride in making a well thought out, user friendly, durable, quality item. Everything from the packaging, to the extra cable, to the build quality and ergonomics is first rate. Understanding that these are not a replacement for in-ear headphones or earbuds, I find them to be a companion to such things where still being aware of your surroundings is important as well as perhaps for people with certain hearing impairments. Wonderful product, worth every penny. Thanks for your review of this and the prior one. I purchased these mainly based on your thorough and pleasant review! Many thanks!
I think the phrase that describes them is that you can retain your “situational awareness” when you are using them. If you are walking, running, bicycling, etc. you can still hear vehicles or people approach you instead of like other devices that can leave you oblivious to what is occurring around you. The sound is not audiophile quality but still very good. I really like mine.
I bought the Air models after your last review and absolutely love them for listening to podcasts and audiobooks while cycling. Earphones that block the ears are illegal while on a bike here so those are great!
@Godzilla Hårddisksson The province of Quebec in Canada, earphones that block your ears on a bike is illegal here. As for wind noise, it is present but I don't find it to be a problem.
If I had these headphones I'd absolutely have to change my ringtone to the CODEC ringing sound. So long as it sends it and doesn't use an internal ringing sound which I suppose is quite likely. Damn.
I absolutely love my treks air and have used them every day for a year now and still get 8 hours of battery life. I think I am going to have to upgrade now with these now
I work in manufacturing and use my trex air every single day. Good to see these guys are still making new models. Seems to be less sound leaking with these new ones.
Great to see a non-retro product review for a change. "I liked these so much I bought a pair for someone else too" is about as good a recommendation that you can get.
Note that while the Aeropex is waterproof, it is not specifically designed for being submerged in water for long duration of time. For that, AfterShokz has actually released another headset called the Xtrainerz that has a built in 4GB storage for music but without bluetooth; which was overshadowed by the release of the Aeropex as that is what everyone is looking forward to in the next iteration of the bone conduction bluetooth headset.
Well made review. I own the same device to use at work. I work in a kitchen setting and need to maintain awareness of those working with me and incoming orders so these are perfect for taking phone calls and keeping my hands free and my ears open. Absolutely the best device I've ever used for this purpose and I've converted several of my coworkers to them as well. I also use them at home when I want to veg out on UA-cam without totally shutting out everyone around me. You are correct that you shouldn't count on these to listen to music in a quiet setting -- there are many other devices that will do this better. But if you want to hear something (podcasts, calls, or even some light music) while also maintaining your awareness of your surroundings, there is nothing better on the market.
These do seem to address the (minor) shortcomings I have with my Air which I've had for a few months now - fiddly charging and controls, no "previous track" keypress, inability to wear in the shower! Not sure I can justify the upgrade at this point, but a great review - thanks! Also appreciate the big head outlook - 3XL here! :-)
I purchased a pair in January 2020, after watching this video. In March 2021, the battery finally died and barely holds a charge, i.e., will only work for 30-40 minutes before getting the "charge me" message. Up until the battery died, I loved these headphones and used them daily. Update: I since learned they have a TWO YEAR WARRANTY. I submitted a warranty replacement. *To my surprise,* they are sending me a replacement set, arriving in a few days. This level of customer service is unheard of, IMHO.
Everything techmoan demonstrates and mentions is so perfectly thought out. He knows exactly what the viewer is thinking and when to clarify something that may be unclear. He's a natural. Thorough and crystal.clear. This is such a quality channel.
This was my thought exactly. I love listening to crap in the shower (well, everywhere) but feel inconsiderate blasting music and audiobooks outloud. Even at home. I'm considering these hard because I think it'd make me more sociable at work and let me listen in the shower.
I'd gladly give up the magnetic charging connector for a standard micro-USB or USB-C charging port so I wouldn't have to carry an additional cable. It'd be so much more convenient if I can use the same charging cable for my phone.
@@swedneck In 10 years, you won't care about that because the lithium ion batteries in them have already worn out and you'd have bought a new set because you got tired of having to charge them every 2 hours, while new models offer 10+ hours per charge. Also, a USB charging port might take 5 times as much internal space as the magnetic one does.
The headphones I've been waiting for! Has anyone with long hair tried them? They look like it shouldn't pose a problem, but that'd be a real let-down to spend that kind of cash, wait with anticipation, only to find out my hair weighs the back down and ruins the fit. Otherwise, thanks for the no-nonsense, straight-forward review from a user with like-minded applications for this kind of device. I listen to podcasts at work, but safety is paramount and I need to be able to hear around me, so I'm a "single-earbud soldier". It's a pain when someone tries to get my attention via my budded ear.
Because of you, I bought them a year ago and I love them, use them every day, mostly podcast and easy to get in jacuzzi. thank you for the great review. I love your channel
These would be good for security guards or warehouse workers being able to still be able to pay attention to noise around them wile listening to anything they want
I have a long walk to work, so having headphones is a must, I used to use a pair of Bose QC35, but I was getting worried about rainy days ruining them, I bought a pair of Aftershokz Trekz Titanium after your previous video since I saw them cheap, even for being the older model now they're still really good, perfect for audiobooks and since they leave your ears open it's safer for me crossing roads and walking the pavements at the early hours of the morning!
Thanks for the review! These look perfect for what I want. My primary use is music, but it's more of a gentle background sound while doing other things kind of deal. I can listen to music while working while still being able to communicate with everyone which sounds 100% worth the money.
One group of people that reviewers don’t mention is people with A conductive hearing issue. I am glad you mentioned it. Also, if you block your ears, you get A flat, rich sound. Bone conduction headphones can transmit frequencies up to one hundred thousand herts.
Thanks for this review, came across it a few months ago and as a result bought some aeropex and couldn't be happier. It's to the point where I wear em almost 8 hours a day 3 or 4 days out of the week. Only headphones I've owned where I could wear them that long without a fair bit of discomfort. Good for music even if bass is lacking, but stellar for audiobooks.
4 months later still wearing them almost daily for 8-12+ hours and still loving them. this review absolutely sold me on the aeropex and if you can find them for a good price i absolutely recommend getting some if they fit your situation and preferences. aside from the expected lack of bottom end bass they sound fantastic even with music as long as the focus isnt on the bass lol
One of the better reviews of this product I have seen in terms of demonstration and practical value and use case for this product. Always good to see when someone likes a product so much they buy it for others.
I've got a set of these as well. Useful for cycling so I can still hear. I also wear them at work sometimes so I don't miss a call or awkwardly ignore someone at my door. Mine didn't come with a sports belt and they put the price up in Australia
I love the treks air at my job. While moving inventory to retail shelves it is rather enjoyable to listen to music or an audio book to pass the time. If it is too noisy I usually just press the pause button. It is really more about being aware of your surroundings while avoiding horrible music over the store intercom.
I'm a big fan of Aftershokz. I work out of my house and talk on the phone a great deal. These are great for telephone use and they allow me to hear what is going on in my surroundings. I also ride a bicycle and they allow me to listen to music, etc without worrying about missing out on the barking dog or the car bearing down on me. The earplugs do increase the base aspect of music, but not enough I would want to put them in. I also have hearing loss. But I don't notice it when using these. I highly recommend them for, as you stated, their intended uses.
I work in all kinds of industrial environments and these are absolutely the best headphones to use if earplugs are needed! Earbuds dont protect your hearing and actually will cause damage themselves if worn for too long/too loud. These, paired with NIOSH approved earplugs, will never damage your hearing because the sound bypasses your outer eardrum. Also great for anyone already suffering from hearing loss.
I've always been interested in the concept of bone conducting headphones, but never really knew much about how they work. Thanks for the thorough review!
My husband has the previous version of these and they also work really well for people with hearing loss. Because he has only a small amount of hearing in his right ear, normal headphones are only half useful. These actually allow him to hear sound on both sides. This alone has been more than worth the price for him.
I have the Air version, and find them excellent. I use them when travelling so I can hear announcements on trains and in airports whilst also watching a movie on my iPad.
I used to travel to the US (from Australia) a lot for work. On the 16 hour flight it would wear my Titanium Aftershokz while also wearing ear plugs to block out all ambient noise and a beanie to provide can bit more pressure for the Aftershokz. This provided almost 100% reduction in ambient noise and great sound clarity for anything I was listening to. This setup performed better than my Bose noise cancelling headphones and allowed me to sleep during the flight without having bulky headphones on my head. Also wearing a beanie negates the tickle effect for me.
I've been using the oldest model the Titaniums for years now and I love them. They're incredibly helpful in schools because you can still hear everything on top of the teacher having no clue what they actually are
I've got a pair of Air, I wear them all day long at home during this pandemic quarantine, taking phone calls and meetings while can still hear my son. very comfortable, better than any earbuds if you don't mind the sound quality.
I'm interested in getting these so I went to Amazon (US). Before buying anything I usually run it through Fakespot; when I did that these are reported as "F" high deception involved. This is the first time I've ever seen an F rating. I trust Techmoan so I'll still buy them and hope Fakespot is just confused.
@@lordjackson Fakespot.com analyzes reviews and assigns a grade. Note: it is NOT grading the item for sale, it is just looking at the reviews. If an item has 4.8 stars is the item really good or are the reviews fake just meant to pump up sales. A similar site is Reviewmeta.com
What about using them for communication in a factory? Versus, taking your earplugs out to take a call and/or finding a quiet place to take that same call...
Still have my Aftershokz Bluez 2S, still happy with them. Looks like they haven't changed much about the interface at all, though the previous song feature alone might make me upgrade.
It was thanks to this video that I decided to buy a pair of these headphones. They came in the other day and so far I'm loving them. I bought them mostly for use when traveling because I'm having issues with my car stereo and only in front only the passenger side speaker is working. While that doesn't bother me to much day to day since I can still hear the radio good enough when I try streaming music from my phone or use Google Maps there's issues. I can barely hear Google talking to me. Since these headphones don't block the ears I can legally wear them while driving. I haven't tried them in the car yet but I think they'll work well for that. Since they're waterproof I can wear them to listen to music while in the tub, which is great. I haven't and don't plan on dipping them under the water itself but I don't have to worry about splashes or anything harming them.
I'm so glad that having 880K subscribers and always lots of kudos in the comments hasn't given you a big head! 😉 Seriously, I have the same problem with hats & helmets & headphones, so I appreciate product reviews that mention it specifically. It's always a pleasure to watch your videos, with or without the puppets, so a big Thank You to you.
I wear these all day as a teacher, no fatigue at all.l, and no messing with taking them off if I need to talk to someone. And honestly these blow airpod pros out of the water for passthrough sound...be side they pass everything and it isn't processed. He is right music on these are probably comparable to a decent set of $40-$50 headphones. I wouldn't toss these on yo go into audiophile mode by any means plus they obviously don't block any noise. They're good for background noise while you work honestly. I love these things, just understand what you're buying.
If they brought out these headbones with a skeletal rumble vest, it would be really great for gamers, the amount of times I've missed the door because I couldn't hear the bell or the dogs over the gun fire and explosions, maan. . . Wouldn't have happend if I'd been wearing a skeletal sound system!
I’ve got a cheapo brand of similar headphones. They’re great for wearing around the house like you mentioned but also great for using with loud equipment. Mowing lawn, snow blowing, etc. Pop in ear plugs and you can still listen to your podcasts!
That's a good point; Aftershokz included a set of foam earplugs with my Trex Titaniums I got at Best Buy last night and I noticed that the "volume" gets louder when you plug your ears up. You could actually use any if the Aftershokz headsets with some NRR earplugs, protect your ears, and still listen to music, podcasts, or whatever.
I noticed you're wearing glasses as well as the headset. The Titanium had a thicker over-ear loop, but the Air and Aeropex are thinner. It looks like that is great for that. I listen to podcasts during work in the production line and having the ability to hear instructions and hear music (but no one else can) is priceless especially for making the hum drum of work go smoother.
Appreciate the review! I've been a big fan of my Trekz Air headphones and I'd been thinking of ordering another one to replace the aging and worn pair I've got. This would be a better option than just getting the same thing again.
FWIW: I am just watching this now in March of 2022. I also just watched the previous video about the earlier set. I never noticed either of these two videos, until the first one was mentioned in a more recent Techmoan vid.
I would just add that while the ear canal is open, if you are listening to music at a high volume, you will hear that somebody is talking to you but me personally, I find it difficult to understand the words if I don't turn down the volume. But as a cyclist, they're briliant. I don't care about how nice a car engine sounds as long as I can hear it and stay away from harm's way.
I was watching this with a friend, and he suggested that perhaps changing the EQ on the car stereo would help with the boominess. I said I'm not so sure, because you'd have to re-equalize every single one you listen to, and besides, sometimes the problem isn't the equalization, it's that bodily vibration effect. I'm not sure what that is you're driving, but it looks quite small, and a lot of companies will fit the same speakers to their small cars as their big ones, resulting in that vibration regardless of how your highs, mids, and lows are set. So yes, absolutely, it's much better to have a device like this which you can just throw on and enjoy rather than doing a soundcheck every time you go on a road trip.
Thanks for the review, I was wondering whether this would be a significant upgrade from my Aftershokz Titanium. But the only real significant upgrade that would affect me seems to be the charging port, so I will leave it. For people that might be scared away because of the music thing: I have been using those things for about a year now (the Titanium ones, which are probably worse), and I really love them. I purely use them for music (like everywhere, all day), and really don't notice the audio being worse than other earbuds personally. I think I am just not much of an audiophile, but I am sure I'm not the only one. I also bought a pair of sony wf-1000xm3 recently for different purposes (while studying), and I can't notice much of a quality difference despite the sony wf-1000xm3 being pretty high quality (afaik).
I have the Trex (purchased after watching your first video) and the Aeroplex (purchased on launch day) and I love them both and usually have one or the other on listening to podcasts and UA-cam ... including this video, right now:) The battery life on the Aeroplex is absolutely better ... all-day listening where the Trex give out before dinner. Sound quality is a tiny bit better for music than Trex but I rarely use them for that. I agree the tickle is mostly gone in the default EQ mode, but you can change it (hold both buttons) and tickles like the Trex and you hear a lot more bass.
I've had the Titanium for two years and have been perfectly happy. Saw these new ones and thought I will stick with my old ones as what could be better? Well bought the new ones today on black Friday and wow what a improvement. Happy before, now even happier
I remember my father getting mad at my mom because she would be talking on the phone when he was watching TV. Aftershokz solve that problem for my wife and I and we have domestic bliss. Actually, there are many times I have found that I want to listen to headphones but still want to hear what is happening around me. Exercise is obvious and they market them that way. I exercise in an area with heavy traffic so these allow me to be aware of the cars. They are also great while driving on trips with the family. They are safer than using regular headphone but are also great because my family will drift in an out of sleep or watching videos and then say stuff to me periodically and I can hear them.
A couple of years ago I met this person that specialised in hearing aids that magneticlly snapped to the bone of your ear to hear. For me being deaf on the left side I could hear sound like I never heard it before. I had ZERO clue they made headphones like this....I want a pair now.
This are awesome too listening to audio books in the workshop and ear plugs. I have the wire version(Sportz Titanium) the battery last 12 hours. So your hearing is protected and you can listening to a good book. :) Relay perfect for the workshop.
I wear these in a loud factory with earplugs. They work very well. Earphones are against the rules, and I can't imagine they block noise as well as proper foam earplugs.
I use my Trekz Air mostly in loud environments - with earplugs in. I can put normal yellow earplugs in and still listen to my music and hear alerts from my smartphone, all while using power tools and equipment.
Great review as always, Techmoan. I know you get a million comments but just wanted to let you know how much we all appreciate your channel. Also, I know you're not in the USA but Happy Thanksgiving anyhow, come by the US next November and one of us will hook you up with a gut-busting turkey dinner with lots of mashed potatoes and stuffing and pumpkin pie and glasses full of your favorite cheery beverage.
Sooo glad I ran into Techmoan. He closed me during my research process on this. Just ordered a pair and will soon put the Aeropex to the test as an Offshore and Inshore fishing Captain and in very extreme conditions which is around my wife during this 2 month quarantine ;) Can't wait.
I got the last version because they were half the cost. Didn't like them at first but as long as you realize these aren't supposed to be used as headphones they are pretty good. Using them for podcasts and audiobooks only. It sounds like having a speaker on rather than earphones, but only you can hear the speaker. If you want music to sound amazing do not buy these but if you just want something playing in your head while you still hear the world these work well.
13:15 removing the 'leakSlayer' holes to reduce sound leakage is like removing 'leakstop' holes at the bottom of a bucket Or removing injury preventing explodium from a starship console. Weird.
I have got the original Aftershokz Titanium and listen to Audible on my bike commute every day. Best thing I ever bought. Will use them until they fall apart.
They say 8 hours play time on full charge I get more then 9 hours play time on mine which I bought just a few months ago to replace some cheaper cabled once from wish. the cabled once I bought at first because I mainly wanted to use with a personal Cassette player and Minidisc player. But after having to repair the cabled serveral times I gave up on those and invested in this model and a Bluetooth transmitter. I tried connecting it to my HI-Fi for listening to dialog, but I could not accept the lag. But it works great with my Minidisc and Cassette player at work. I don't know of any cellphone that handles 3 work days on 1 battery charge like my cassette player or a full week like my Minidisc. At my work it's either listening to music in Mono or using these. Sound level is not to bad at my work so these are absolutely great. I bought my first cabled once after I saw this video my first time. One note keep that magnetic carry case away from any prized cassette recordings. I kind of forgot to think of this and had to rerecord a bunch of my cassettes.
Invested in a pair based on your review as have never found earphones comfortable due to ear irritation/sensitivity, not having to push anything into my ears or covering my ears feels so much better and comfortable. Had lowered my expectations on music quality, but finding them really nice levels. Listening to film soundtracks on these is like having backing music to your life in your head.
I'm glad to see you using them, because I wear glasses & wanted to see if that's OK. Most reviews don't cover this issue. I'm also a spoken word & podcast listening person, with similar concerns about hearing other sounds around me. So thanks for covering all of these points.
I have these headphones. Best headphones I've ever owned. Not because they sound the best, though they sound fine, but because being able to walk around and hear your music, but also hear traffic, use them at work so I can still hear colleagues or the phone and so on. I actually primarily use these for music, and perhaps it's the genre's I listen to, but I enjoy listening to music on them.
Bone conductors are brilliant in noisy environments when you are using ear plugs for safety purposes. I use them on a ride on lawn mower, the ear plugs cut out the noise and I can still hear the music perfectly. In fact, music quality is much improved when you use the ear plugs as bass response is better.
very timely as it's "Black Friday" this weekend on this side of the pond. But these are significantly more expensive than the Aftershokz Air here in Canada.

The potential use for those with hearing impairments is quite exciting!
Indeed, that's exactly why I'm looking into them now
That’s why I bought them , I work in a noisy environment , my hearing is shot , people say bad hearing,, buy these , I will let yu know if they work ,, . I’m an aircraft inspector , I only have voice tones , no highs , no Lowe’s ,
To update I bought them for my mother who is going deaf. Didn't work for her, it depends on the type of hearing loss someone has. If the Cochlea itself is damaged then it won't work. This only serves to bypass the eardrum and small bones, or if someone has excessive earwax etc.
what?
I love his sense of humor sometimes. "Apologies for the shaky video - the steadycam operator phoned in sick...as did the sound engineer."
Yeah I saw that too.
I work in a loud steel stamping and welding facility and these are popular there, wearing our OSHA approved ear plugs of course. Works fine
Not Sure, cool!
Wonder if these could be paired with a comms/PA system? Maybe using the phone capability as a sort of two-way radio?
So this would work great for people who are hard of hearing?
@@Clay3613 Depends what type of hearing damage it is. If the damage is to the eardrum or the ear bones, then yes, these would be quite good. However, a considerable number of cases of hearing damage is caused by damage to the cochlea, and for a person with that, these headphones will be equally useless.
@@Clay3613 Techmoan says as much later in the video about his father in law.
Sounds like the perfect device to listen to the lovely back catalogue of TechMoan videos whilst I'm working.
I listen to 90% of techmoan videos on my treks air

One thing these would be good for, and I don't know if you touched on it, but regular headphones don't provide hearing protection like a pair of ear plugs would. So if you're in a really loud environment where damage to your hearing might occur(construction and whatnot) , this might be a good pair of headphones for that. That is, if you could still hear them
@@HA05GER well hot diggity, I might get some
I use the trekz air in a datacenter environment, they're fantastic.
so funny you've just reviewed these, i got them four weeks ago on a family holiday in Tokyo and was wondering if you would pick up a set!

LMAO, I'M CRYING XD
I've had my Aeropex for the past couple of months and I absolutely love them! I'd like to point out that I bought them primarily for work as I often pass through areas with heavy forklift traffic. I also don't like ear buds in my ears for long periods of time as they make my ears itch. However being honest, I got them to skirt around the "keep one ear open" rule. With these I can still hear audio in both ears while also keeping them open. Take that stupid "one ear open rule!"
Although they are not bass heavy, they have a sufficient amount of bass.

I work in manufacturing and use my trex air every single day. Good to see these guys are still making new models. Seems to be less sound leaking with these new ones.
I like the magnetic plug. My daughter uses wireless headphones and we have had to replace several because the plug fails.
Great to see a non-retro product review for a change. "I liked these so much I bought a pair for someone else too" is about as good a recommendation that you can get.
I’d like to thank you for sparking an interest in retro tech it one of my favorite hobbies and all because of you.
Very nice to have pointed out the extra advantage to people with hearing loss. May have just given me my mum's Christmas present!
Techmoan is becoming known as the bone-phone guy. I hope that doesn't destroy his reputation at parties.
Techbone, Techmoans new name
Hell - maybe it'll _boost_ his reputation at parties xD

Also great for blasting music and listening to podcasts in the shower without waking everyone up.

I'm more concerned about how absolutely impossible it's going to be to charge those things in 10 years
I think we need some standard for magnetic cable which every manufacturer uses.
Or...... instead of two cables, one cable and and one adapter from usb to the magnetic base
*USB-C* all the things.
Wow, never seen this design before. Really interested to watch.
I didn't appreciate where they fitted until the demo at the end.
Great review.

Hell yes! Thursday afternoon just got a LOT better. Keep up the good work fella.

I've got a set of these as well. Useful for cycling so I can still hear. I also wear them at work sometimes so I don't miss a call or awkwardly ignore someone at my door. Mine didn't come with a sports belt and they put the price up in Australia
these are amazing. I do use them in relatively loud environments, but I pause them when it gets too loud. It makes the workday much shorter.
3:50 Box idea is amazing! No one else demonstrated these
I love the treks air at my job.

Seriously, I have the same problem with hats & helmets & headphones, so I appreciate product reviews that mention it specifically.
I purchased my trekz titanium about six months ago, it solved the lot of problems you mentioned in your video. Great product..
My finger punched the subscribe button before god got the news. You're a man of class, style and sophistication ! Love your channel, Thank you :)
great exercising headphones too, can hear oncoming cars and traffic

Weird.
Got myself a pair of these after much deliberation and have to say I absolutely adore these headphones. They're bloody brilliant.
9:49 "Double O seven, I want the Aston Martin back this time!" Lmao
Props to Techmoan for the easter egg nod to Brandon Tenold at 4:18!
very timely as it's "Black Friday" this weekend on this side of the pond.
But these are significantly more expensive than the Aftershokz Air here in Canada.
