As someone who plays Raiden religiously, I must warn you that her personal damage might disappoint you at C0 as she can no longer keep up with the likes of neuvillette and arlecchino in that department. Her highest damage team at C0 is with her as a full EM hyperbloom trigger. Both Mualani and Kinich are looking to have higher personal damage at C0. She's more of a qol character with her energy regen and interruption resistance or if you need an electro unit to meet elemental checks.

Exactly this. She definitely does good damage but even xiangling outdamages her in her own team, she's a great character but people should see her as a driver and not a carry at c0 bc that's what she is
Same but if u want a team I have a team I wanna use deyha/bennett kazuha(fav)/zhongli kinich and xiangling but kazuha is there with fav if u have energy problems with xiangling
I've been saving for Raiden for a while so I'm gonna wish for her, though the comments about her not being as strong as she used to be, do make me doubt my choice a tiny bit. But I'm sticking with it!
I saved for Raiden and got her 2 reruns ago, she's been one ofmy top characters. But she is not high damage at C0 sadly, I'd recommend pulling for C0 AND her weapon if you want her to hut big numbers. If you can't do that, your best bet is full em Raiden in a hyperbloom team.
Well my honest opinion if you like the character go for it and if you have nevulite then don't worry about dmg raiden in c0 is not a heavy hitter if you focus for abyss ( forget imaginiarium theater). It's fun to play I had won 50/50 in last re-run all the best 🎉
If you’re worried about clearing abyss 12 she can clear just fine at C0, I personally use her in either national or in a dendro team with nahida and yelan. I refuse to build her full EM but it’s still nice to have it as an option I guess. And if you don’t care about abyss it really doesn’t matter if she’s strong or not lol

You are lucky to be new and have a change to pull for both of them. Good luck! They’re very enjoyable. In my case I think I will pull for Raiden to lower ER requirements so I don’t have to worry about it. It’s quality of life.
I’m newer too but got C1 Kazuha on his last round earlier this year. He’s so fun to play and useful, and easy to build. I’ve gotten a few other 5 stars at this point but none that good. Makes almost every team better
I’m personally going to pull for Kinnich and Kazuha ‘cause I don’t have Kazuha at all, but I also wanna get Kinnich, and I’m close to pity already and I’m saving primos :)
As a kazuha haver I bless you to get kazuha, he was my first wind character, and he came home in 20 pulls in my birthday, he will forever be my number one character

Consider saving up for C2-C3. Her damage will rely heavily on good artifacts at C0. Regardless, she's a great addition to any team at any constellation.
I have 50 pity plus 146 pulls save. Im gonna pull for Kazuha and pray hard that I win my first 50/50 early 😭 ( my remaining pulls afterwards will be used on Zhonglis' rerun ).
he actually doesn't look hard at all since it's mostly action controls that probably auto lock for the most part. It doesn't look similar to Charlotte who is a nightmare to use even on PC. xD

Prediction: the first few updates of Natlan will place importance on reactions with Pyro and synergy with the Pyro Archon. This whole version is shaping up to be pretty interesting. We know that we're almost certainly getting the Pyro Archon or whatever happens like with Furina (which means Mavuika, in all likelyhood) and we've seen the Visions of 3 other Natlan characters: Citlali - Cryo, Xilonen - Geo, Chasca - Anemo. On top of this, we've seen Iansan use Electro, Il Capitano with his Cryo sword, and Ororon with no apparent element so far. I think this is the largest number of characters we've seen before the release of an X.0 version, and the highest elemental variety at the same time (although none except the Archon seem to be Pyro). We have Emilie and Kinich utilizing Dendro-Pyro reactions, and Mualani is a perfect fit for Vaporize, which makes me think that multiple other new characters will also place significant focus on their respective reactions with Pyro and most of them will likely have synergy with the Pyro Archon. This, by the way, might to an extent apply to Raiden (especially if Chevreuse appears on her banner like she did last time) and other reruns in the following updates. We also know that Natlan characters have their Nightsoul mechanics, which opens up another way for them to synergize with the Archon and in this way makes the Archon even more valuable if you're pulling for any of the new Natlan characters. TLDR: If we know anything about Genshin, save for at least one copy of the Archon.
@@Urlocalpotatototo Nope, Chasca's Anemo Vision can be seen in the Version 5.0 Trailer briefly towards the end when a bunch of character are running together through a dark area towards a fissure or opening of sorts, I think at 3:02 in the trailer. Note: anything like me confusing the names or something is made impossible by the fact that Citlali (Cryo) doesn't appear in the 5.0 trailer (confirmed by the VA list in the trailer's description).
Its so crazy how insane Kazuha is. He's an insane all rounder character and they bring him back so much to the point it seems like they WANT you to have him

I wanted Furina really badly after losing my 50/50 to he when she came out, but just before her re-run I pulled for Layla and ended up getting Qiqi and Diluc. Missed opportunity again.😭
kinich is probably what i will pull since he can play 2 role : main dps and off field dps like ganyu using his ults. got neuvi, no need for mualani. already got raiden and kazuha

Honestly for a new player Shark Girl might bring the most value. She will give you a carry to do damage with that also may have overworld convenience. She only lacks value if you rolled for Fontaine's characters, but if you didn't get any of them then a Hydro carry is a very safe pick in general. In general I would pick something powerful that is the most fun. While Kazuha is fun he is very limited in the teams he can use in a way. He has to stick to older characters or mono element teams. Newer characters often scale better with nahida or furina's buffs instead. Shark Girl definitely looks to be the most fun of the characters shown. Going into the game past Sumeru I would ignore what a lot of older players say. Kazuha is only going to bring you value of the elements that interact with anemo, but he also builds you away from geo and dendro. So it has to be with a pyro, hydro, electro, or cryo team. He will have use on one of the 3 teams you are planning to build for end game content though. The selections this time are pretty much even and favor newer players over older ones. I just don't want you to pass up on your shark girl waifu just to enforce an old meta that won't be relevant going into a new region with new characters that are unknown to us. It is best to pick the characters you like.

I’m going for Kinich, I already use my 2 Keqings as a grappling hook and he’s like an upgrade to that, plus his design is really cool. I'd love to get Mualani too but I already have too many hydro characters so I’m just gonna save the rest for Xilonen.
I'm guaranteed and at 61 pity. Decided to pull for Raiden because I've been wanting her for a while and need electro character. As of now saved 110 pulls. Will be pulling guaranteed Shogun the rest will be for Chasca and hopefully her weapon.

I already have Arle and Arle's signature weapon, and she hits 30k - 60k dmg with every single attack every single time (the highest she hit was 197k) so tbh I'm satisfied with Arle and her playstyle... don't really feel like getting another pyro characters (also not really a fan of claymore characters so myeeaah she will be a skip for me). Also I JUST NOW found out chasca is anemo according to leaks... so tbh I might then save for citlali or any other character who I'll like unless I'll really really like Chasca's playstyle (also not a fan of anemo haha). But again, I'll decide on the playstyle of characters if I'll like them or not.
@Whotfru... well to my knowledge I think yes. Since she applies electro off field. I also have c3 ayato (I tbh run him at 200% energy recharge cause I use his burst a lot, and it works in my team of: Arle, Ayato, Bennett, Zhongli) so it would be pretty good synergy since Shogun can apply electro while Arle or Ayato are on field (I use one quickly then switch to the other for a finale blow that type of playstyle, and tbh it works for me, can even reach floor 12 of abyss). Tbh since the news of chasca being anemo, I'm now thinking if I should try going for Shogun weapon or not... especially since they made weapon banner now 50/50...

Raiden isn’t that crazy anymore, and she’s not like super valuable. Of course pull whoever you like but you did say you like Kinich Also his teams aren’t dendro. He’s the first burning DPS so he’s not gonna be played in team like Nahida and Kuki and stuff, but more so Bennett and Xiangling and Furina if you have her
raidens dmg is a bit on the low side, the only reason she still can do decent is because raiden national and hyperbloom teams with full em raiden, but her personal damage is pretty low. If you care about damage i wouldn't really summon for her.
I'm pulling for Raiden C1 (or C2 if lucky). I don't care what other people say because I'm still using Raiden National in abyss as my 2nd team and I guess there's no wrong with that. I love this team and won't let other opinion ruins it ♥♥♥ Note: I don't have a single Chevreuse so yeah, no chance on building that team (though I have C6 Sara)
I'm gonna do the same. I use raiden national in abyss along with her signature weapon. I just pulled a kazuha yesterday and I still have primos saved so might go for a c1 or c2 if lucky

Mualani is rlly good for f2p bc u get her good weapon for free, and u deal 8k dmg with every shark bite at lvl 80,if u build her good, u can deal up to 100k+
ok as a raiden fav and using her for like last 2 years...i will be honest. if you are looking for meta character go for kazuha, kinich, or mualani. if you are new then she is very hard to build but remember c2 or c3 is a whole another story. i use her in hyperbloom team rn
I’ve been sitting long and hard if I should pull for Kinich or Kazuha … in the end I’m going to do Kinich for the sole reason that Kazuha gets often reruns unlike other 5*, and Idk I like pulling for characters from the new region when they come out. Besides, this way I’ll be able to get enough pulls for a guaranteed unlike if I pull earlier for Kazuha I probably won’t have enough primos in time (also on a 50/50 so). Idk if any of you guys have suggestions I’d appreciate it (note I am f2p 👍) Edit: another reason I wanna pull for Kinich first is because imo I like playing genshin with fun characters (certainly strong) but don’t have to be meta. If you don't have Kazuha and want to get the better character meta-speaking, just pick him. I was a Kazuha hater since 1.6 because he spooked me at 20 pulls and made me lose my 50/50 for Ayaka, so I was really pissed at him and never used him until the likes of 3.0 I guess. After leveling him up and start using him, he never leaves my overworld exploration team and he is such a flex character that i feel that i can put him into any team and it will work, he is very strong, his utility is amazing, his personal damage rivals some main dps characters like Ayaka and yoimiya, he makes overworld farming way better because he swirls all the resources to the center, he is just amazing, i love him. So, if you just want to pick the most meta character, go for kazuha, he will change your account

Noob here. I love this game! The characters and world are so beautiful & bright with simple anime style charm plus the sound effects are bubbly and playful which just makes you want to keep exploring. I can easily see why they opted for a free to play model because - like Warframe - these developers have cracked the code of human lust for aesthetics. Warframe is also free to play yet I've spent around $600 on it, once I have a little bit of extra cash I will look into supporting Genshin Impact as well because even after 15 hours I'm more than satisfied with what we get to play. (I also have Zelda FOMO but Genshin Impact is arguably a better game)
I personally am gonna get mualani(BC shark) and then pull for Raiden. Luckily I'm guaranteed and at around 75 pity so I'm sure to get mualani and still have at least 30 pulls (plus the tons of pulls I'll get in the new version)
Shark looks most fun. I also hope you can keep your skill up virtually forever while out of combat. I have a feeling that won't be the case leaving Furina the only 100% waterwalking in the game.
i will also pull for ei because i do not like colour violet but i like her design wit this color even though many players hate her especially on tiktok and i dont know why i would still pull for her like emilie .If you want really a character and some players do not advise you for it or it on a low tier list just listen to yourself for what you want like mualani l also like her but some called her skin tone too white so its just up to ouselves this video is nice to give us more info ;\
I'm an off an on player (more off than on) and pulled Raiden a while ago. I think I got her too early I haven't even unlock inazuma yet and can't ascend her. She my main and everyone on her team has already ascended except her. But I can't help it cause she's so cool.
Raiden is really strong. I have her C0 and I love her, she was the first DPS character I really built. Now with new DPS characters and powercreep, I feel like she'd need C2 or C3 to keep up with their numbers... But I'm not very focused on the "meta" so I'll never regret her
I have raiden since the day she got released and I barely switched her out of the team since then! I have her C3, but now I want to wish for more constellations💜💜💜 Playing since 2020, I can confirm for myself that she is still the best character for me! I just wish they would finally make a skin for her..
Already got Kazuha , I'll try my luck on Raiden as I'm on a 50/50 after getting Yelan If I lose I'll go for Xilonen or save all the way to 5.3 for Mavuika and her weapon as the number of fate points needed is reduced to one
As for a past Raiden 😮 must say her overall damage is AMAZING, but you do need to give up having "fun" mainly because I rarely used reactions and almost one-shot bosses
I'd say raiden's rating in personal damage should have been good not great. She's very good but at c0 she's more of a driver than a carry, xiangling does more damage than her in a national team for example. But yeah, she's very easy to play, dishes out good damage and has a lot of utility in her kit unlike some more powerful but more clunky dps

I'm building my first team around Navia, for the second I'll pull Raiden And I also just wanna say that if I ever hear about Xiangling or Bennett again I'm gonna yell, lol. Are they in absolutely every genshin team right now? I've built Xiangling because every website tells me to, but I don't really like her in combat. Bennett I don't even have, but already fed up with him
They're super meta You can definitely make strong teams without them but usually those require more 5 stars or more investment except maybe hyperbloom so you'll see them mentioned everywhere for new players who don't have many characters Sometimes there isn't even an alternative, so yeah...
As a dendro main I have to say, dendro teams don’t need them at all. I love Xiangling for non-meta reasons and I almost never get to use her since my abyss teams are all dendro (or anemo). It’s just, most people don’t play dendro teams besides hyperbloom.

Kazuha was the reason i started to play genshin impact ( back in 3.7 ish) ❤ still use him everyday and yes I had lost his 50/50 on first try but managed to grind and get him 😂
I was thinking about getting kazuha and raiden during this patch, considering I'm a new player and in need of both characters for my teams, and this solidified my decision, thank you (Also I love Kazuha sm so either way i would've gotten him lol)

Kinich's only issue now is just that he doesn't really have any Pyro sub DPS/support that fits. Xiangling's pyronado is likely to short of an AoE Bennett has the circle impact issue Tohma just doesn't work with him at all and Dehya..... is Dehya. Dehya is likely the one who can apply Pyro the most reliably. so my suggested team is Kinich, Emilie, Dehya and insert 3rd member
Klee is actually really good for burning because all of her constellations help the team and she has one that reduces pyro resistance. You can stack it with Kazuha's buffs while he gather's Klee's bombs right on the enemy. By the time you get back around to Klee both of her bomb charges will be back or you can use 1 at a time on a faster rotation. The thing is Kinich is very greedy for field time and that is where the true problem lies. Hu Tao is his best ally right now because she applies blood blossoms that stay on them for a while after she leaves the field. Her being on the team also increases his crit rate in the event he needs that. She's not that greedy for field time and can support burning with her blood blossoms. I think Dehya definitely has a use, but it's with Burgeon. She can pop a bunch of burgeon right on enemies and takes virtually no damage from it herself. So Kinich, Klee, Kazuha, Emille Kinich, Hu Tao, Emille, Dehya/Bennette/Furina Kinich, Dehya, Emille, Furina/Kokomi If you didn't get Emille then Kinich probably isn't worth going for at all.
I wish people would finally admit raiden’s personal damage isn’t that good. Like it’s not bad but it doesn’t keep up for f2p players nowadays. From what we’ve seen kinich and mualani will far surpass her
I'm new and started this game after enjoying ZZZ, been dolphin spending a bit since release and have collected at least one copy of most the s ranks. Now that i'm coming to genshin, it feels very overwhelming especially after realizing i'm 4 years late to the party. I decided to pull mainly for waifus and got lucky enough to start summoning around Yelan's rerun. She's now my favorite and with Natlan now here, i'm grinding out primos for Electro mommy archon. Pretty bummed out i missed out on the Clorinde banner. I barely have the game complete, only few areas exploration 90%+ and a lot of the game left to go, but i'm still unsure i'll be able to pick up Raiden.
I hope Nahida reruns with Iansan, but I mostly just wanted to see what the new characters did. I think the timing is kinda terrible for mualani because I just got 3 hydro characters with their weapons. With Furina, Neuvilette, and Sigewinne I don't think I need another hydro character for the remainder of the game's life, but if I did get one it would probably be Nilou to use with Neuvilette.
Solid analysis as always, Shark! I keep wondering whether Kinish (burgeon, burning) and Mualani (vape) will really benefit from off-field pyro, so Bennett, Xiangling and possibly the pyro archon to really shine. So, they might be quite good once we get the archon. I would add that both Mualani and Kinich seem to have good overworld QOL - surfing on water and spider-manning around the world look super handy. I already have Kazuha and Raiden, and I'm broke for primos (thanks, Nilou!) so I'm going to skip Mualani and Kinich for now and see if the pyro archon changes things for them.
Already have Kazuha and Alhaitham, so my choices are between Mualani and Raiden. Not entirely sure which one to choose since I have Kuki, Fischl for electro in hyperbloom teams, and I'm not entirely sure how well Mualani will do in the long run. Mualani looks so good tho, and her hp scaling seems like it's easy to farm. Plus, I have also been looking for catalyst dpses since I missed Wrio and Neuv banners 😔.
Decided to pull for Raiden for her flexibility and future proof usability when Capitano comes out and playable. If he's physical carry, I'll use Raiden for superconduct. If he's elemental carry, then my Layla and Ayato will welcome him with open arms. Sitting at 220 pulls left, I was tempted to pull for Raiden cons. But nah, my pulls could be used for future 5* weapons. May you all be blessed with whoever you decide to pull.
I’m set on Kazuha since I lucked out on him C2 some reruns ago. Raiden’s still at C1 and I told myself long ago I’ll go up for her C2 so I might continue with my goal route… But the marvel of new characters and mounts is so tempting. :(
I havé c1 Émilie and a good bennet and xiangling, and I can say that xianglings aoe will likely be fine if you have emilie because emilie spreads burning around the field constantly with her skill and burst. swapping into benny to replace his burst and one tap his skill, as well as a guoba, and burning app should be okay for Kinich. maybe mavuika will have a lot of synergy with him tho, who knows
Even if Mualani and Kinich may not be good in AoE and/or won't be top meta picks, their surfing/grappling gamplay alone is enough for me to pull for them. I already have Raiden so I'll attempt for her sig weapon especially with the recent change onto weapon banner. This way the Catch goes to a true pyro archon so she can display her mastery over both fire and polearms.
Going for Mualani as I don't have hydro main dps besides Barbara. Her being cute and cool is enough, but I think both she and Kinich will get better when more Natlan characters come out! That being said, they will rerun faster than Raiden and Kazuha if you want either of those...
I got kazuha when I first started just to get character and I’ve used him the most. Best investment ever. I got him c1 last rerun and probably going for him if I didn’t like trial mualani
Raiden is BY FAR the best pull value dmg AND support wise because her dmg is up there in the top 5 AT C0 and if you get her C2 she EASILY beats C0 neuvillette.
last night 10x pull was... freaky.. 1st: Kinich, 2nd: Chevreuse, 3rd: Kujou Sara... earlier that day I've got Thoma from the same pull.. so.. damn luck Loved Kinich's moves in the try-out, like how he can damage a single target while moving around it, or how versatile his skill in terms of going from pointA2B.. also, he's my first dendro
Hmm, after seeing the 4 stars on mualanis Banner, the smart choice for me would be to go for c2 raiden. Since im at c1 and her banner, will probably have chevruse and kujo, who are c3 and 5. But i want mualani and to save for xilonen.
I already have Raiden (C0), and Kazuha (C1), so I have to choose between Mualani and Kinich...I already have enough hydro catalysts, so I'm going to save primos for Kinich to team up with Emilie. Then it's saving for Geo Cougar Mommy and Pyro Queen.
I feel like my fear of missing out on meta is making me want to pull for mualani rather than personal bias. I think I need to step back and just pull for characters I want again. I’ll probably go for kinich and the archon this time and if mualani breaks the game THAT much I can get her when she reruns :)
i have both kazuha and raiden, and will be saving for nahida since i pulled nilou recently and i want to try to give her a better bloom team xd plus nahida on itself i think opens up a lot of team options, which is what i need for my second team in abyss
You really want C1 or C2 Nahida if team flexibility is your goal. C1 completely eliminates all restrictions her ulti has so you can stack more effects into it with only 1 character per element. Making it so you can make any team you want.
As a 4.6 player i don't have many 5 stars and i am f2p i have two good five stars jean and yelan but i am gonna try to pull for both kazuha and kinich because i have so many team ideas with them
I also started playing in 4.6 as well. My first 5 star was Jean from Standard Banner and i just got Yelan too. I got a Keqing from losing my first 50/50 on Yelan Banner but i got Yelan on my next 50/50 80 pulls after (ended up getting her on my last 10 pull). Now I'm also saving up for Kazuha because Jean is the only Anemo character i have. I'm more focused on pulling & building characters that i like instead of just being a meta slave, Kazuha was so badass when he counterattacked Raiden Shogun in the Inazuma Archon Quest and i've liked his character ever since. Yelan is one hot momma. I’m going to save my primos for her. God help me so I don’t wish on Raiden’s banner as if fishing for Bennett since getting a specific 4-star is crazy… so I’ll wait for Bennett to be on the starglitter shop in November and save fates and primos for Nahida 🙏 🌱
Ima summon for kinich. I have raiden and i run her on a hyperbloom team with nahida. But ive been needing a second team mainly for abyss and hes perfect for my burning team ive been trying to make
You really want emile if you want to run kinich. She also scales with burning effectively multiplying your damage. He was made with her being on his team in mind so his damage could fall off without her. She will make Kinich fun to use, but without her you don't really have a lot of team options. 2 of the new characters are cryo and 1 of them is geo. So he is certainly not going to get a lot of new character options either.

I also think that pulling on archons always won’t be a loss because they’re very good at the roles they’re supposed to do for their element. Add Kazuha too to this. He’s so good!
as a ftp and very casual player like literally once a month playtime i literally want all these characters so bad but realistically ill probably get one so i am STRESSING lol
The main reason I’m pulling for the Natlan characters is all the new traversal abilities for exploration in the new region. Very hard to pass up on that aspect.
I'm gonna have a hard time deciding to spend my wishes on Mualani or Kazuha... I wanted to get Kazuha on his most recent banner but couldn't. now I have the opportunity along with 61 wishes, 40 pity from when I tried to get Furina (mostly in vain), and (I think) am guaranteed my next 5-star. I can do this.

As someone who plays Raiden religiously, I must warn you that her personal damage might disappoint you at C0 as she can no longer keep up with the likes of neuvillette and arlecchino in that department. Her highest damage team at C0 is with her as a full EM hyperbloom trigger. Both Mualani and Kinich are looking to have higher personal damage at C0. She's more of a qol character with her energy regen and interruption resistance or if you need an electro unit to meet elemental checks.

Exactly this. She definitely does good damage but even xiangling outdamages her in her own team, she's a great character but people should see her as a driver and not a carry at c0 bc that's what she is

I've been saving for Raiden for a while so I'm gonna wish for her, though the comments about her not being as strong as she used to be, do make me doubt my choice a tiny bit. But I'm sticking with it!
I saved for Raiden and got her 2 reruns ago, she's been one ofmy top characters. But she is not high damage at C0 sadly, I'd recommend pulling for C0 AND her weapon if you want her to hut big numbers. If you can't do that, your best bet is full em Raiden in a hyperbloom team.

Well my honest opinion if you like the character go for it and if you have nevulite then don't worry about dmg raiden in c0 is not a heavy hitter if you focus for abyss ( forget imaginiarium theater). It's fun to play

If you’re worried about clearing abyss 12 she can clear just fine at C0, I personally use her in either national or in a dendro team with nahida and yelan. I refuse to build her full EM but it’s still nice to have it as an option I guess. And if you don’t care about abyss it really doesn’t matter if she’s strong or not lol

I’m newer too but got C1 Kazuha on his last round earlier this year. He’s so fun to play and useful, and easy to build. I’ve gotten a few other 5 stars at this point but none that good. Makes almost every team better

Prediction: the first few updates of Natlan will place importance on reactions with Pyro and synergy with the Pyro Archon. This whole version is shaping up to be pretty interesting.
We know that we're almost certainly getting the Pyro Archon or whatever happens like with Furina (which means Mavuika, in all likelyhood) and we've seen the Visions of 3 other Natlan characters: Citlali - Cryo, Xilonen - Geo, Chasca - Anemo. On top of this, we've seen Iansan use Electro, Il Capitano with his Cryo sword, and Ororon with no apparent element so far. I think this is the largest number of characters we've seen before the release of an X.0 version, and the highest elemental variety at the same time (although none except the Archon seem to be Pyro).
We have Emilie and Kinich utilizing Dendro-Pyro reactions, and Mualani is a perfect fit for Vaporize, which makes me think that multiple other new characters will also place significant focus on their respective reactions with Pyro and most of them will likely have synergy with the Pyro Archon. This, by the way, might to an extent apply to Raiden (especially if Chevreuse appears on her banner like she did last time) and other reruns in the following updates.
We also know that Natlan characters have their Nightsoul mechanics, which opens up another way for them to synergize with the Archon and in this way makes the Archon even more valuable if you're pulling for any of the new Natlan characters.
TLDR: If we know anything about Genshin, save for at least one copy of the Archon.

@@Urlocalpotatototo Nope, Chasca's Anemo Vision can be seen in the Version 5.0 Trailer briefly towards the end when a bunch of character are running together through a dark area towards a fissure or opening of sorts, I think at 3:02 in the trailer.
Note: anything like me confusing the names or something is made impossible by the fact that Citlali (Cryo) doesn't appear in the 5.0 trailer (confirmed by the VA list in the trailer's description).

I wanted Furina really badly after losing my 50/50 to he when she came out, but just before her re-run I pulled for Layla and ended up getting Qiqi and Diluc. Missed opportunity again.😭

Honestly for a new player Shark Girl might bring the most value. She will give you a carry to do damage with that also may have overworld convenience. She only lacks value if you rolled for Fontaine's characters, but if you didn't get any of them then a Hydro carry is a very safe pick in general.
In general I would pick something powerful that is the most fun. While Kazuha is fun he is very limited in the teams he can use in a way. He has to stick to older characters or mono element teams. Newer characters often scale better with nahida or furina's buffs instead. Shark Girl definitely looks to be the most fun of the characters shown.
Going into the game past Sumeru I would ignore what a lot of older players say. Kazuha is only going to bring you value of the elements that interact with anemo, but he also builds you away from geo and dendro. So it has to be with a pyro, hydro, electro, or cryo team. He will have use on one of the 3 teams you are planning to build for end game content though. The selections this time are pretty much even and favor newer players over older ones.
I just don't want you to pass up on your shark girl waifu just to enforce an old meta that won't be relevant going into a new region with new characters that are unknown to us. It is best to pick the characters you like.

Decided to pull for Raiden because I've been wanting her for a while and need electro character. As of now saved 110 pulls. Will be pulling guaranteed Shogun the rest will be for Chasca and hopefully her weapon.

I already have Arle and Arle's signature weapon, and she hits 30k - 60k dmg with every single attack every single time (the highest she hit was 197k) so tbh I'm satisfied with Arle and her playstyle... don't really feel like getting another pyro characters (also not really a fan of claymore characters so myeeaah she will be a skip for me).
Also I JUST NOW found out chasca is anemo according to leaks... so tbh I might then save for citlali or any other character who I'll like unless I'll really really like Chasca's playstyle (also not a fan of anemo haha). But again, I'll decide on the playstyle of characters if I'll like them or not.

@Whotfru... well to my knowledge I think yes. Since she applies electro off field. I also have c3 ayato (I tbh run him at 200% energy recharge cause I use his burst a lot, and it works in my team of: Arle, Ayato, Bennett, Zhongli) so it would be pretty good synergy since Shogun can apply electro while Arle or Ayato are on field (I use one quickly then switch to the other for a finale blow that type of playstyle, and tbh it works for me, can even reach floor 12 of abyss). Tbh since the news of chasca being anemo, I'm now thinking if I should try going for Shogun weapon or not... especially since they made weapon banner now 50/50...

raidens dmg is a bit on the low side, the only reason she still can do decent is because raiden national and hyperbloom teams with full em raiden, but her personal damage is pretty low. If you care about damage i wouldn't really summon for her.
I'm pulling for Raiden C1 (or C2 if lucky). I don't care what other people say because I'm still using Raiden National in abyss as my 2nd team and I guess there's no wrong with that. I love this team and won't let other opinion ruins it ♥♥♥

Mualani is rlly good for f2p bc u get her good weapon for free, and u deal 8k dmg with every shark bite at lvl 80,if u build her good, u can deal up to 100k+

ok as a raiden fav and using her for like last 2 years...i will be honest. if you are looking for meta character go for kazuha, kinich, or mualani. if you are new then she is very hard to build but remember c2 or c3 is a whole another story. i use her in hyperbloom team rn

I’ve been sitting long and hard if I should pull for Kinich or Kazuha … in the end I’m going to do Kinich for the sole reason that Kazuha gets often reruns unlike other 5*, and Idk I like pulling for characters from the new region when they come out. Besides, this way I’ll be able to get enough pulls for a guaranteed unlike if I pull earlier for Kazuha I probably won’t have enough primos in time (also on a 50/50 so). Idk if any of you guys have suggestions I’d appreciate it (note I am f2p 👍)

I was a Kazuha hater since 1.6 because he spooked me at 20 pulls and made me lose my 50/50 for Ayaka, so I was really pissed at him and never used him until the likes of 3.0 I guess. After leveling him up and start using him, he never leaves my overworld exploration team and he is such a flex character that i feel that i can put him into any team and it will work, he is very strong, his utility is amazing, his personal damage rivals some main dps characters like Ayaka and yoimiya, he makes overworld farming way better because he swirls all the resources to the center, he is just amazing, i love him. So, if you just want to pick the most meta character, go for kazuha, he will change your account
i already prepared every item for him, he just needs to come! i have 16 pity and i lost my 50 50 to jean so i have guaranteed kazuha in just 6 daysssss, i have 90 wishes, EXACTLY ENOGUH FOR HIM

Noob here. I love this game! The characters and world are so beautiful & bright with simple anime style charm plus the sound effects are bubbly and playful which just makes you want to keep exploring. I can easily see why they opted for a free to play model because - like Warframe - these developers have cracked the code of human lust for aesthetics. Warframe is also free to play yet I've spent around $600 on it, once I have a little bit of extra cash I will look into supporting Genshin Impact as well because even after 15 hours I'm more than satisfied with what we get to play. (I also have Zelda FOMO but Genshin Impact is arguably a better game)
I personally am gonna get mualani(BC shark) and then pull for Raiden. Luckily I'm guaranteed and at around 75 pity so I'm sure to get mualani and still have at least 30 pulls (plus the tons of pulls I'll get in the new version)

I'm an off an on player (more off than on) and pulled Raiden a while ago. I think I got her too early I haven't even unlock inazuma yet and can't ascend her. She my main and everyone on her team has already ascended except her. But I can't help it cause she's so cool.
Raiden is really strong. I have her C0 and I love her, she was the first DPS character I really built. Now with new DPS characters and powercreep, I feel like she'd need C2 or C3 to keep up with their numbers... But I'm not very focused on the "meta" so I'll never regret her

I have her C3, but now I want to wish for more constellations💜💜💜 Playing since 2020, I can confirm for myself that she is still the best character for me! As for a past Raiden 😮 must say her overall damage is AMAZING, but you do need to give up having "fun" mainly because I rarely used reactions and almost one-shot bosses
I'd say raiden's rating in personal damage should have been good not great. She's very good but at c0 she's more of a driver than a carry, xiangling does more damage than her in a national team for example.
But yeah, she's very easy to play, dishes out good damage and has a lot of utility in her kit unlike some more powerful but more clunky dps

You can definitely make strong teams without them but usually those require more 5 stars or more investment except maybe hyperbloom so you'll see them mentioned everywhere for new players who don't have many characters

As a dendro main I have to say, dendro teams don’t need them at all. I love Xiangling for non-meta reasons and I almost never get to use her since my abyss teams are all dendro (or anemo). It’s just, most people don’t play dendro teams besides hyperbloom.

Kazuha was the reason i started to play genshin impact ( back in 3.7 ish) ❤ still use him everyday and yes I had lost his 50/50 on first try but managed to grind and get him 😂
Raiden with Arlecchino is such a very good team comp, enemies keep on exploding everywhere 😂

I was thinking about getting kazuha and raiden during this patch, considering I'm a new player and in need of both characters for my teams, and this solidified my decision, thank you (Also I love Kazuha sm so either way i would've gotten him lol)

Kinich's only issue now is just that he doesn't really have any Pyro sub DPS/support that fits.
Xiangling's pyronado is likely to short of an AoE
Bennett has the circle impact issue
Tohma just doesn't work with him at all
and Dehya..... is Dehya.
Dehya is likely the one who can apply Pyro the most reliably.
so my suggested team is Kinich, Emilie, Dehya and insert 3rd member
Klee is actually really good for burning because all of her constellations help the team and she has one that reduces pyro resistance. You can stack it with Kazuha's buffs while he gather's Klee's bombs right on the enemy. By the time you get back around to Klee both of her bomb charges will be back or you can use 1 at a time on a faster rotation. The thing is Kinich is very greedy for field time and that is where the true problem lies.
Hu Tao is his best ally right now because she applies blood blossoms that stay on them for a while after she leaves the field. Her being on the team also increases his crit rate in the event he needs that. She's not that greedy for field time and can support burning with her blood blossoms.
I think Dehya definitely has a use, but it's with Burgeon. She can pop a bunch of burgeon right on enemies and takes virtually no damage from it herself.
So Kinich, Klee, Kazuha, Emille
Kinich, Hu Tao, Emille, Dehya/Bennette/Furina

If you didn't get Emille then Kinich probably isn't worth going for at all.
I wish people would finally admit raiden’s personal damage isn’t that good. Like it’s not bad but it doesn’t keep up for f2p players nowadays. From what we’ve seen kinich and mualani will far surpass her
I'm new and started this game after enjoying ZZZ, been dolphin spending a bit since release and have collected at least one copy of most the s ranks. Now that i'm coming to genshin, it feels very overwhelming especially after realizing i'm 4 years late to the party. I decided to pull mainly for waifus and got lucky enough to start summoning around Yelan's rerun. She's now my favorite and with Natlan now here, i'm grinding out primos for Electro mommy archon. Pretty bummed out i missed out on the Clorinde banner. I barely have the game complete, only few areas exploration 90%+ and a lot of the game left to go, but i'm still unsure i'll be able to pick up Raiden.

I hope Nahida reruns with Iansan, but I mostly just wanted to see what the new characters did. I think the timing is kinda terrible for mualani because I just got 3 hydro characters with their weapons. With Furina, Neuvilette, and Sigewinne I don't think I need another hydro character for the remainder of the game's life, but if I did get one it would probably be Nilou to use with Neuvilette.

I keep wondering whether Kinish (burgeon, burning) and Mualani (vape) will really benefit from off-field pyro, so Bennett, Xiangling and possibly the pyro archon to really shine. So, they might be quite good once we get the archon.
I would add that both Mualani and Kinich seem to have good overworld QOL - surfing on water and spider-manning around the world look super handy.
I already have Kazuha and Raiden, and I'm broke for primos (thanks, Nilou!) so I'm going to skip Mualani and Kinich for now and see if the pyro archon changes things for them.

Already have Kazuha and Alhaitham, so my choices are between Mualani and Raiden. Not entirely sure which one to choose since I have Kuki, Fischl for electro in hyperbloom teams, and I'm not entirely sure how well Mualani will do in the long run.
Mualani looks so good tho, and her hp scaling seems like it's easy to farm. Plus, I have also been looking for catalyst dpses since I missed Wrio and Neuv banners 😔.
Decided to pull for Raiden for her flexibility and future proof usability when Capitano comes out and playable. If he's physical carry, I'll use Raiden for superconduct. If he's elemental carry, then my Layla and Ayato will welcome him with open arms.
Sitting at 220 pulls left, I was tempted to pull for Raiden cons. But nah, my pulls could be used for future 5* weapons.

I’m set on Kazuha since I lucked out on him C2 some reruns ago. Raiden’s still at C1 and I told myself long ago I’ll go up for her C2 so I might continue with my goal route…
But the marvel of new characters and mounts is so tempting. :(

I havé c1 Émilie and a good bennet and xiangling, and I can say that xianglings aoe will likely be fine if you have emilie because emilie spreads burning around the field constantly with her skill and burst. swapping into benny to replace his burst and one tap his skill, as well as a guoba, and burning app should be okay for Kinich. maybe mavuika will have a lot of synergy with him tho, who knows

Fortunate that most of Natlan’s character designs do not appeal whatsoever to me: saving ALL for CAPITANO!!!
Even if Mualani and Kinich may not be good in AoE and/or won't be top meta picks, their surfing/grappling gamplay alone is enough for me to pull for them. I already have Raiden so I'll attempt for her sig weapon especially with the recent change onto weapon banner. This way the Catch goes to a true pyro archon so she can display her mastery over both fire and polearms.
Going for Mualani as I don't have hydro main dps besides Barbara. Her being cute and cool is enough, but I think both she and Kinich will get better when more Natlan characters come out! That being said, they will rerun faster than Raiden and Kazuha if you want either of those...
I got kazuha when I first started just to get character and I’ve used him the most. Best investment ever. I got him c1 last rerun and probably going for him if I didn’t like trial mualani
Raiden is BY FAR the best pull value dmg AND support wise because her dmg is up there in the top 5 AT C0 and if you get her C2 she EASILY beats C0 neuvillette.
last night 10x pull was... freaky.. 1st: Kinich, 2nd: Chevreuse, 3rd: Kujou Sara... earlier that day I've got Thoma from the same pull.. so.. damn luck
Loved Kinich's moves in the try-out, like how he can damage a single target while moving around it, or how versatile his skill in terms of going from pointA2B.. also, he's my first dendro
Hmm, after seeing the 4 stars on mualanis Banner, the smart choice for me would be to go for c2 raiden. Since im at c1 and her banner, will probably have chevruse and kujo, who are c3 and 5. But i want mualani and to save for xilonen.

I already have Raiden (C0), and Kazuha (C1), so I have to choose between Mualani and Kinich...I already have enough hydro catalysts, so I'm going to save primos for Kinich to team up with Emilie.
Then it's saving for Geo Cougar Mommy and Pyro Queen.
I feel like my fear of missing out on meta is making me want to pull for mualani rather than personal bias. I think I need to step back and just pull for characters I want again. I’ll probably go for kinich and the archon this time and if mualani breaks the game THAT much I can get her when she reruns :)

i have both kazuha and raiden, and will be saving for nahida since i pulled nilou recently and i want to try to give her a better bloom team xd plus nahida on itself i think opens up a lot of team options, which is what i need for my second team in abyss
You really want C1 or C2 Nahida if team flexibility is your goal. C1 completely eliminates all restrictions her ulti has so you can stack more effects into it with only 1 character per element. Making it so you can make any team you want.
As a 4.6 player i don't have many 5 stars and i am f2p i have two good five stars jean and yelan but i am gonna try to pull for both kazuha and kinich because i have so many team ideas with them

I also started playing in 4.6 as well. My first 5 star was Jean from Standard Banner and i just got Yelan too. I got a Keqing from losing my first 50/50 on Yelan Banner but i got Yelan on my next 50/50 80 pulls after (ended up getting her on my last 10 pull). Now I'm also saving up for Kazuha because Jean is the only Anemo character i have. I'm more focused on pulling & building characters that i like instead of just being a meta slave, Kazuha was so badass when he counterattacked Raiden Shogun in the Inazuma Archon Quest and i've liked his character ever since. Yelan is one hot momma. I like using Dendro Traveler because he's the MC & i believe he should be more involved in the game's content, Kuki is the MVP of my main lineup & Barbara is also one of my favorites too!

You really want emile if you want to run kinich. She also scales with burning effectively multiplying your damage. He was made with her being on his team in mind so his damage could fall off without her. She will make Kinich fun to use, but without her you don't really have a lot of team options. 2 of the new characters are cryo and 1 of them is geo. So he is certainly not going to get a lot of new character options either.
@YuyuHakurei I do NOT have the primos to summon for both. And I really want knich so ima have to find a way to make him work lmaoo. Cus Emile does not interest me AT ALL. She's one of the least hype releases imo
I also think that pulling on archons always won’t be a loss because they’re very good at the roles they’re supposed to do for their element. Add Kazuha too to this. He’s so good!

The main reason I’m pulling for the Natlan characters is all the new traversal abilities for exploration in the new region. Very hard to pass up on that aspect.

I wanted to get Kazuha on his most recent banner but couldn't. now I have the opportunity along with 61 wishes, 40 pity from when I tried to get Furina (mostly in vain), and (I think) am guaranteed my next 5-star. I can do this.
