Regional nickname 'thought' to derive from local dish? It IS derived from a local dish. They eat it in Manchester too under a different name - Lobby. Both names are derived from labskaus, the original Viking dish.
@@TheSateef I suppose it’s only easy if you’ve heard it before. I’ve had a stew called scouse before so I knew it. Tom hanks one was particularly difficult
Yeah I'm not an excellent quizzer by any stretch but I would have got up to the Scouser question no problem. I did have an inkling that it was Scouser so might have taken a punt to get from there to the Tom Hanks question. I could think of Robert in the Da Vinci Code and Walt Disney so was between Jim and Dan, I'd probably have gone 50/50 there and asked Jeremy if no help to get to £32,000.
I would've guessed Dan and maybe a lifeline could have helped him out on that question but for 32k it needed another obvious one like Forrest or Woody in addition to Walt. If you're not a film buff picking between 3 very generic names is a tall order. I'd still rather get a really easy ride up to 16k like this guy than some who get awkward questions early on.
Using 2 lifelines before £1000 was pretty bad. Should have set his lifeline earlier when it was obvious he was struggling; then would have been able to take a free shot at the Hanks question. Since his guess was right, he would have been leaving with 32 or even 64k.
He wasted his 50/50. He should have just asked Jeremy straight away if he wasn't sure. 50/50 would have been incredibly useful on the Tom Hanks question where you had to eliminate each answer to leave the correct one.
@@Gareth-410 Most people use their 50/50 wrongly: they use it when they have NO idea which of the 4 answers it might be. This may increase the odds of a random guess but even then, are you going to risk losing 15k or 31k on a 50/50 bet?
@@nbartlett6538 I always think like that. If I have like at least 70% certainty over an answer, I would use 50/50, but if I'm not confident, why would I risk things? Every lifeline has their own moment to shine. Ask the Host is very useful if it's about geography & cars, since Jeremy quite good at both
I mean, the Tom Hanks question wasn't that bad. If you try to eliminate the answers, you could at least be left with Jim and Dan, since his Walt Disney and Robert Langdon characters are pretty famous. But then there's the stress too
those last few questions were really tricky.
Tough round that
I have to say I don’t think that was an easy question for a mere £32,000.
You mean 32k is mere? Really
I remember when that fast finger first
Those questions actually went my way. If I was on the show, that's what I would like. 32k with all the lifelines. It depends on what you know.
Look ma, no spoilers!
would be nice to get longer videos
They are individual games that are put together with other games to create a full episode for tv, plus ads are needed for ITV

It’s lappskojs in Swedish, and we still eat it! A favourite among school lunches when I was growing up
Good choice otherwise he could take a guess ❤❤❤
That Tom hanks question is snide
Yep Dan Brown wrote the books, Hanks played the main character Robert Langdon
Tom Hanks has over 90 film credits, the producer who approved that question needs to be sacked and thrown out the building by security.
Why??
Wise decision
Extremely easy questions up till the Tom hanks one. That should be 125K
really, i had no idea about the scouser one

It's weird what we know and don't. I'm useless at quizzes normally, but not one of them knowing about lobscouse? Really?
For us southerners? I'd imagine almost none of us know about it.
Lifelines?
Pushing his luck.
A bit stunned that he doesn’t know much about literature. Don’t theatre students have to read plays?
I suppose they are easy when you know them but because I have seen A, B & C then D was the process of elimination
Tom Hanks is a lousy actor .....he is very over rated.....I dont see why such a fuss is made over him....
