Sometimes you wonder if just the one chaser is stronger than the 5.
Of course it is, because the lone player doesn't need to waste time buzzing and can just say the answer immediately.

Yeah, buzzing, wrong person answers, and waiting to see if someone else knows the answer is the biggest barrier. It's the same as the team vs the Chaser in the regular show. Beat the Chasers just switches their positions around.
Same as on the actual programme sometimes all of them get in each others way time wasted waiting for someone to answer delay means no one is sure then they get it wrong.
Then wouldn't obviously the best decision have been to face 2 Chasers for 20,000£?

Oh don't start with that, for one the 'Dark' in Dark Destroyer refers to how Shaun dresses in DARK colours as well as his seemingly dark and gloomy facial expressions as well as his seemingly ruthless and uncaring nature when he takes on contestants, oh yeah and their is also the tiny little fact of Shaun chose the name HIMSELF when he became a Chaser and has said numerous times including on his own personal social media that he has NO ISSUES WHATSOEVER with being called The Dark Destroyer.

If I was on this I’d always go against 5. They trip over each other, sometimes someone who DOES know the answer doesn’t get the chance to answer because someone comes in with the wrong answer, I’d favour myself to edge it with enough of a time advantage

I've never seen this version of the chase before, seems much easier than the original.
Its much harder because of the time pressure
It's way harder since not only do you have the time pressure but you also have to take on multiple chasers rather than a single one.
@@menproductions4941The chasers take 2 seconds to answer with pressing the button, most challengers take one second. That’s a big advantage.
@@johnmc3862 That hinges on the contestant knowing enough of the answers to make the most of the time advantage. Heck, this guy only won because of the wrong person answer and he was on fire.
I agree that it has aspects of being easier. For example S we just saw if none of the chasers know the answer they waste lots of time agreeing to pass.

Sadly we lost our german "Librarian" in April
Also our show is a little different, One chaser only. The contestant gets a blitz quiz for I think 1 minute, every answer right is 500€.
Then you have the gameboard, with I think 7 fields, the earned money on the third field. The chaser comes in and offers less money on the 4th field (Some even jokingly make negative amounts, like -20€) and rather high on the 2nd field, usually 10-20k
Every question right, you go down a field until you reach the bottom, chaser quizzes too. if you get too many wrong and the chaser usually gets these right, they will catch you and you're out
thats how the regular 'the chaser' game works in the UK as well.
I'm from Yorkshire & I think I've heard "swullocking" or "swollocking" before to describe heat

Did anyone notice that the show was trying to give the chasers mors time. Look at the clock for the chasers when Mark pushes a button they pause it for a little bit longer thats cheap when there is 5 of them againts one. It happened a few times.
Yep, and walsh's reading speed is different for chasers vs contestant. He reads more slowly for the contestant.
