I just got it delivered today and measured the depth. It’s 9 inches exactly. I almost not order it because your measurement was closer to 10 inches. It looks like one of the wheels got included in the measurement based on the footage. Posting in case anyone was worried that will not work with certain airlines.
Picked the perfect time to happen across your channel - just binged your last three videos :D Still deciding what's right for me, but this info is invaluable! Thank you so much for your hard work. (P.S. - typo in the title - STYTLE)
Thank you for doing such in-depth reviews! I've watched a ton of suitcase reviews over the last few weeks and yours are by far the most detailed and useful, especially with the linked Excel. Still not sure what my final purchase will be but I feel a lot more confident about making a decision now.
Thanks for your honest review. For a lighter carry-on, would you please review both Samsonite C-LITE CARRY-ON SPINNER and PROXIS CARRY-ON SPINNER? Thanks again!
Nice review as usual since I am following your reviews. I love the looks and the material of the freeloop carry on. Can it be used for international Flights as a cabin luggage?
Thank you for this amazing review! It looks soo pretty but I am also concerned about the weight. I would love to know how much it roughly weights when fully packed. Thank you ☺️
I took this on a trip and struggled with putting it in the overhead compartment. I think the handles are super cute but not as practical. Because I am not strong, I need as many mechanical advantages as I can get. I am planning to test out a few more zipperless suitcases.
@@hardlyrelevant Ouuh I would love more zipperless options! I am actually not too worried about putting the bag in the overhead bin but more about airline restrictions. A lot of the airlines in Europe weight the bags nowadays and zipperless luggage tends to be a little bit heavier 😅
That's a good point. I usually store all of that in my backpack, and that's not possible if the carry on is the only thing you are bringing. I'm planning to make a video that talks about the best suitcase type for different situations.
I will literally buy one of them after u review it because u are the most thorough luggage critic ever. Ur even more through than consumer reports. I hope you make a new channel for other stuff u want to review. U can be a serious critic of anything Love ur content
I know they are totally diff price ranges. But if for example for the price you find it's overall design features etc is good enough I will skip the july
I'm the opposite. I'd be interested in playing with one in "underseat" size. 16-17" or so. -are you sure the buckle latch is all plastic? the one close up looks like a casting to me, maybe cast aluminum or pot metal. It appears to be a plastic buckle body with a metal latch insert that the 2 screws probably go into. try scraping the loop with a sharp knife. If something scrapes off, put a flame on the small piece. ...of course you're looking for melting. I know it's beyond most people's scope, but one thing i'd like to see is destructive testing. e.g. swinging heavy weights at the wheels, impact tests on the shells, handles, and locks.
Thanks for this review. The customer reviews on the website seem fake, so it was nice to see a video review.
How do they seem fake? I always wonder whether reviews are legit and I'm never sure how to decipher this.

Omg! You are 100% right!!! I remeasured it, and it was 9 inches. Updating my measurements now!

Thanks!!! And thanks for catching the typo 😆
You seriously have the best reviews! And this suitcase is so pretty. Such eye candy! 🤩
I love your detailed review. And I am going to get this! After looking at reviews for many. Your reviews are tops.

I appreciate your exactitude
Thank you for a very thorough review!

Please do a review on Calpak luggage! Love your videos!

For me, one important feature is a front pocket to store electronics for TSA check. Missing from all carryons you reviewed.

Love ur reviews. Would be epic if you review the july hardshell trunk carry on and compare it to this

Thank you I had spotted this a month or so ago but couldn’t get it. Do you know if they plan to make a check in size one?

I asked Level 8, and it doesn't sound like they plan to make Freeloop in other sizes at the moment. They will let me know if that changes.
@@hardlyrelevant thanks for asking, much appreciated.
Is there going to be a July update? 🤔
Yup! I am getting a little faster with my workflow, so I hope to get it out soon! Thanks for checking in!
I want to send you my suitcases because I have the best suitcases ever
