Akanānūru 69, Umattūr Kizhār , Pālai Thinai - "What the heroine’s friend said to her"
May you live long, my friend! Your body has
lost its beauty! Your dark, flower-like eyes
have lost their luster! Even though he has parted from
you, he will not delay his return. Do not cry!
The Mauryas have carved into the mountains and created paths for
their chariots with iron wheels to roll smoothly.
He has left, forgetting sleep on your breasts
as fragrant as the fresh flowers in the forest
      belonging to King Āy.
      -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Akanānūru 251, Mamoolanar, Palai Thinai - "What the heroine’s friend said to her"
Messengers have been sent, and He will return, and your arms
will thicken and the sorrow on your body
      will disappear, oh friend!
He has gone on the path where a noble
elephant with white tusks, and where the Mauryan
newcomers came with their army with horses,
to attack the king of Mokur who refused to
      submit.
      --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Akanānūru 281, Mamoolanar, Pālai Thinai - "What the heroine said to her friend"
Analyze what you do, my friend!
Not fearing, that the manly words
he uttered daily in our huge town to
remove our fear, will become untruths,
and giving us gossip that is as loud as
      war drums,
he went on the path, where the Mauryas who desire to conquer
the South, cutting into the rocks to let their
chariot wheels with bright spokes roll.

But for the next Q&A. Why is there seemingly such a lack of written historical material usable in history from India compared to the rest of the world. In the Ancient Era especially but the Medieval Era as well to a lesser extent.
Why is much more of Indian history done using archeological sources, including written in stone sources compared to the West and Islamic world?. Why is the history of several Indian major states like the Mauryans done using external written sources and archeological evidence upon the antiquity of writing on the Indian Subcontinent.

Chandragupta maurya is mentioned in the book of megathenes's Indica, isn't that a contemporary evidence of Chandragupta Maurya? If not him then who was the founder of Mauryan empire?
Bimbisara was the relative of Mahavir Jain, according to Jain literature and was contemporary to Mahavir Jain. If we minus the history of Haryank dynasty, most of the Buddhist chronicles, 1st Buddhist council etc becomes fake history. Was that the case? But if we minus Chanakya from Indian history, nothing will be going to change. So the contemporary evidences of Chanakya are very necessary to prove that it is not added character in Indian history

15:10 It should be termed *"Tamili"* not _Tamil brahmi._ Jain texts _pannavana sutra_ and _samavayanga sutra_ lists Damili besides Brahmi among the *then prevailed 18 scripts!*
    ============================
A smaller list of eighteen ancient Indian lipi is found in the Prakrit texts of Jainism (spelled as lipi sometimes[53]), such as the Pannavana Sutra (2nd century BCE) and the Samavayanga Sutra (3rd century BCE).[11][30] This list shares some names found in the Buddhist lists of ancient Indian scripts, but includes new names. The Jaina script list includes Brahmi at number 1, Kharosthi at number 4, but includes Javanaliya and others not found in the Buddhist lists.[11] Scholars such as Buhler state that the Jaina list of ancient Indian scripts is likely older than the Buddhist list, but still belonging to the second half of the 1st millennium BCE wherein Javanaliya probably is the same as one of the many Sanskrit scripts called Yavanani, which was derived from the Greek (Yavana) alphabet.[11] The Jaina canonical texts list the following writing scripts in ancient India:[54]
    Brahmi
    Javanaliya (Greek)
    Dosapuriya
    Kharosthi
    Pukkharasariya
    Bhogavaiya

I tried to do some of the research on whether sandrocottus is chandragupta 1 or chandragupta maurya.
Ashoka kandahar inscriptions tlk about yavans in his army. But to notice , there's nowhere written that yavan and yunani(greeks) were sam. Yavan clan existed even in mahajanapada era. It means people beyond north western india and did not follow vedic culture.
Also about mentioning of ptolemy and different kings in greek language in kandahar inscriptions: these are written in two languages, greek on top and armic at bottom. Aramic is quite older script than greek. Also the greek written there is initially quite thinner as it was done to fit in the left over space. Similar things are done at allahabad inscription of ashoka where Samudragupta later added his achievements.
Though it requires a lot of research to find the real truth. I will like you to go through it again . Also do read an article on this by bharatbhumi on google. You shall find it. Please reconsider it!!

There is no evidence of chanakya in any of mauryan ruins, writing s or inscription s. Mauryan s are the pioneer s in converting India (down below ganga) from a wild forest to agricultural and artisans land. Jenevudhari s arrive on mainstream after defeat of jaina, buddha and shaiva kings in the hands of Muslim trader/invaders. Post 9th century AD, Jenevudhari s made use of patent right of avtara and appropriated indian indigenous deities in the name of avtara (patent right given by adi shankaracharya of 9th century AD).

Archaeologist aur historian alag hote hai. Archaeologist ka kaam excavation karna aur artefacts ka study karna hai jabki historian har ek historical source ka study karta hai aur historical source kewal archaeology nahi hai balki literature , numismatic evidence , folktales and folklores , photographs and videographs , Rock paintings , yah sab hoti hai . Agar bas archaeological evidence ko history manoge toh 50 % se jyada history khatam ho jayegi 😂 .

Talking about Punjabi history without saying Punjab LOL
Chanakya has no reference or evidence but Chandergupta does. Greeks wrote about him. That’s contemporary. What’s not present is evidence if Chandergupta really ruled Magdha. Dubious affiliation of Palibhotta with patna doesn’t explain many other history holes. Chandergupta was Punjabi that is contemporary.

Akanānūru 69, Umattūr Kizhār , Pālai Thinai - "What the heroine’s friend said to her"
May you live long, my friend! Your body has
lost its beauty! Your dark, flower-like eyes
have lost their luster! Even though he has parted from
you, he will not delay his return. Do not cry!
The Mauryas have carved into the mountains and created paths for
their chariots with iron wheels to roll smoothly.
He has left, forgetting sleep on your breasts
as fragrant as the fresh flowers in the forest
    belonging to King Āy.
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Akanānūru 251, Mamoolanar, Palai Thinai - "What the heroine’s friend said to her"
Messengers have been sent, and He will return, and your arms
will thicken and the sorrow on your body
    will disappear, oh friend!
He has gone on the path where a noble
elephant with white tusks, and where the Mauryan
newcomers came with their army with horses,
to attack the king of Mokur who refused to
    submit.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Akanānūru 281, Mamoolanar, Pālai Thinai - "What the heroine said to her friend"
Analyze what you do, my friend!
Not fearing, that the manly words
he uttered daily in our huge town to
remove our fear, will become untruths,
and giving us gossip that is as loud as
    war drums,
he went on the path, where the Mauryas who desire to conquer
the South, cutting into the rocks to let their
chariot wheels with bright spokes roll.
