Did you know that your video makes this process so much easier? There are many videos on here with more or less thre same premise but they add more steps and it doesn't come out as neatly as yours. I just watched five of them (there are many many more than five) and thought I'd lose my mind watching all the steps and all the measuring, I kid you not. Thank you. Looking forward to your other videos.
Thank you so much for this tutorial. This is by far, the BEST tutorial on UA-cam......I must have seen dozens. I appreciate that you made it easy and with less steps then most tutorials. The best part is that yours look professionally done and not a patch job. Again, thank you so much. :)
Totally agree with @jeaniechampagne8831; after watching 3 videos was ready to tear my hair out! Just finished hemming a pair of chinos in no time at all. Thank you😊
It's definitely a tutorial I understood better than the others, but I've got a question. What needle, threat, foot and stitch did you use on the sewing mashine? I'm new to sewing so im always trying to learn new skills.
Hello,. The Needle I used "Schmets" special jeans/denim needles and for the thread "Gutermann 100% polyester. Universal foot, backstitch. Thank you so much for watching.
But by stitching it right under the original hem, 1:25 isn’t that adding 1.5cm? So it’s gonna end up longer..look at 1:39, it will have additional length if sewn in that spot. Now look how it’s longer 2:10 than 1:25
hello very nice lady can you please kindly film operating the sewing machine electric foot pedal being used while wearing these black high heels ?please kindly let me know ok?thank you very much 😊
But I thought the whole point was not to have to mess with the original hem. Here You are opening it up and taking the stitches out completely, so why not just hem and double stitch the hem?
I’m trying this technique now and it definitely looks better and more finished than the way you are describing and I have done in the past. I guess it’s the original lighter and worn edges that make it look so good this way. I’ve tried a few techniques close to this, but this one has the best end result for me so far.

Would this work on flare jeans ?
I think yes !..It should work.
The best
Thank you so much :D
Your creative thought process for opening the hem of the garment to enclose the extra left over material from the adjustment was “genus.”
Thank You !
Thank you for this video 💓💓 Will this work on split legged jeans? specifically the wider ones?? or is there a different technique
Hello, I'm not 100% sure but I think it can work.
I lost original hem after cutting how can I get the same look at the end of the jeans ?😢

Don't see the point, you're still sewing with new thread at the end. May as well do it the traditional way or am I missing something?

It's okay , you dont need to cut the excess fabric if you don't want to...
